This welcoming apartment complex is situated in the leisure centre of Costa Teguise, approximately 600 m from the nearest beach. The hotel is well situated for the public transport network with a stop located just 400 m away. The town centre, which offers plenty of bars, restaurants and a lively nightlife scene, is also within walking distance. Amongst the hotel facilities are a welcoming bar and a restaurant. Guests may park their cars in the hotel's outdoor car park. The simple studios and apartments come with a combined bedroom/living room, a bathroom and a kitchenette with a fridge. The apartments come with an additional separate bedroom. All of them are well-equipped as standard. Guests may make use of the swimming pool and the sun terrace. There is also an entertainment programme to provide some variation.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
My husband and i just had a great holiday here at ficus for 11 days hotel was lovely clean and modern, the staff are really friendly and cant do enough for you, the food is lovely we couldnt fault anything . The entertainment team Africa and julia was amazing and lovely girls to talk to and they had everyone joining in and laughing keep up the good work girls xx
Good location, great local supermarket only 5 minutes from the hotel. Only a 10 minute walk to the beach, bars and restaurants lots to choose from. Quiet, relaxing and a nice vibe around the pool and hotel. All staff were so friendly and helpful and worked so hard. Rooms were clean, spacious and beds very comfortable towels changed twice a week and cleaned everyday except Fridays and Saturdays which wasn't an issue. Food was really good enough choice for everyone, different themed lunches and evening meals every day again staff were lovely, friendly and worked hard. Loved the choices of sugar free cold drinks, branded Fanta orange and lemon and Coke Zero. Great value for money for a 3 star all inclusive and would definitely stay here again. Loved Costa Teguise
Spent a week at this lovely adults only hotel. We stayed in the premium side and it was well worth the upgrade. Nice quiet pool and spotless pool bar . The overall hotel was very nice but the food was a total let down. Overcooked meat and veg. Always cold even though it has just come out of the kitchen. Would have been nice to have cold meats out for lunch and dinner and not just breakfast. Restaurant staff not very friendly . Most of the bar staff were really nice and friendly. We found the entertainment team very pushy and took offense if you didn't want to take part in anything especially the English girl. We would stay at this hotel again but would be prepared to eat out more often .
Stayed in a premium double room for 7 nights. Very thankful I upgraded us to premium because for relatively little extra money the accommodation is a world apart from the standard block. Premium accommodation was superb... i think there are only around 30 apartments in the block, a really lovely seperate pool, no sun bed dash at 7am, always beds free whatever time you went poolside and it was very spacious. I do hate being crammed next to other people and that's what the standard side pool was like. It was peaceful - no loud music or animation team trying to make you have fun! Rooms huge, spotlessly clean and very modern. Pool towels provided in premium.... no pool towels in standard room. AC was perfect and pretty silent. However.... Food can only be described as adequate. You won't starve, but its pretty basic level. I guess it's what you get in a 3 star hotel. Evening entertainment not the best but the team try hard, bless 'em. Staff hit and miss - most very lovely, but the daytime reception staff were rude, abrupt and dismissive, made you feel like you were a nuisance for asking any questions. Location.... Costa teguise reminded me of Skegness or Blackpool. Tatty, full of Irish/English bars and tourist souvenir shops - absolutely not my thing and we only walked down to the centre once, found no compelling reason to return. Nothing authentic/canarian to be found. Would I return... no, I had a pleasant week in the sun in the premium apartments but didn't like the area. If you just want a reasonably priced hot sunny week by a pool and have no desire to leave the hotel, fine. Absolutely would not have wanted to be stuck in the overcrowded main pool and dated standard rooms though. Advise you to take plenty of clips to hold your towels on sunbeds... I've never experienced wind like it - it's relentless and very strong gusts. Lovely in that it makes the heat bearable, but a real pain when nothing stays where you put it... including your drinks. They don't call it breezy teguisey for nothing!
Just back from our first Adults only holiday and it didn’t disappoint, from the fantastic day and evening entertainment provided by Africa and Julia to the accommodation
We made the decision to upgrade to the Premium side which didn’t disappoint rooms large and spotless pool was very relaxing no fighting for Sun Beds, plenty of shade and space to relax in, then if we wanted some activity we just went across to the other pool and joined in the games.
We also benefited from our own pool bar with snack available all day
Food was good with a good choice and various theme meals
