A lovely hotel overall
We have just returned from our 7 night stay in the H10 Rubicon Horizons and booked a junior suite as we were travelling with a 22 month old. My parents were also travelling with us and they booked a double room. We asked prior to arrival if our rooms could be near each other and this was accommodated, we had rooms next to each other. We were in rooms 5089 and 5099 Block C . We really enjoyed our stay and believe it is good value for money and would return but would ask for different better located rooms. We booked all inclusive and everything I mention below was included.
The pros Friendly staff- They could not do enough for us and always happy to say hello to our little boy who loves to give hi 5’s.
Mikes coffee- Lovely to go down in the afternoon after leaving the pool and before you go to your room. Lovely coffee, frappes, smoothies and milkshakes.
The food- Huge variety, also at least 3 different types of fish and 3 different types of fish. Amazing pancakes freshly made at breakfast and omelettes, fresh fruit. So much choice and really high quality and cooked fresh in front of you.
The drinks- All high quality branded drinks
The facilities- Piano bar amazing cocktails and table service which was nice, sometimes a little slow when busy but we were in no rush. Pools were clean and in general the main areas and outdoors were well kept.
Baby Club- loads of toys for the babies
Snack bar- fruit, yogs, sandwiches, nachos, salads, great choices.
The cons Air con very poor- fully on and still uncomfortable to sleep at night. We did speak to reception who got someone to look at it but it still wasn’t good. We didn’t want to move rooms as we had unpacked.
Room at opposite end of complex to kids pool and clubs- we did mention this to reception who offered a room change but we didn’t want to change as we’d unpacked but it was more for them to highlight not to put families at that end
Room could be cleaner- Bed and towels clean but surfaces and floor should have been cleaner but it was Fine for us.
WiFi did not work in our room
Tv we were unable to get it connected to WiFi
Food for kids- if your kids like chicken nuggets, burgers, sausages pizza they may struggle find something to eat. Our little boy was happy to have pasta and bolagnase sauce some chips fruit yogurt crackers and jam. If they are happy to eat kinda barbecue style meats they would be ok too.
The speciality restaurants on site. The Italian restaurant was awful, we regretted booking it and not just going to the buffet. The pizza was tasteless, the starters and deserts and definitely pre made and sitting out. The Asian was ok 2 of us liked our meals, 2 didn’t.

Dreadful!
Do not waste your money on this hotel! Absolutely shocking Butlins style supposedly 5 star - would give it a 2 star rating at best.
Rooms dirty and tired in need of pulling down and starting again. Food is questionable, lukewarm slop.
I cannot find anything positive to say about it - definitely would not recommend or return.
An amazing hotel, an amazing holiday experience
Our 2nd year of travelling to this H10 hotel and I still haven't experienced everything that it has to offer. Staff are always happy to help, the hotel and rooms are immaculately clean with amazing sea views across to los lobos and Fueteventura. Food had so much choice with a main restaurant and 4 other dining experiences available. There are multiple bars across the complex each offering different experiences my only gripe would be the table service was slow as there wasn't enough staff with machines to take your order often with a wait between drinks, but to be honest that is just being overly picky just to critique something. We were all inclusive and it was definitely worth it not just for ease but also peace of mind. Mick's coffee house is a must visit and the snack bar gave an additional choice at lunchtimes. There is a spa available for 25€ a day but never used it as the whole hotel had the calm and relaxed feeling that a spa experience offers. There's other pools (7 I think) and children's clubs, child friendly pools and play areas somewhere around the complex but I never felt the need to explore to find them. To be honest the only children at the hotel we saw were babies and toddlers and they were few and far between. A small shopping area with a dinner and show experience again never tried it maybe next year as we've booked our return already
Worst hotel ever been to
The worst all inclusive hotel i have ever been in. Paid for the privilege rooms which are so dated and in need of a complete makeover. The air conditioning is rubbish. No turn down service, bins not emptied, food is lukewarm, and obviously previous cooked and kept warm , so tough as old boots.not enough staff. Safety lights not working on outside stairs, waited an hour for drink in bar. Bad directions to privilege rooms which are the furthest away from everything.. we will DEFINITELY not be coming back here again !!!!!!!!!

Great hotel once you get in the rhythm of where everything is!
We arrived at 7 pm , it was abit busy at the reception so I can say we didn't get the same reception as the h10 melenoras gran canary, this is why I said I trust H10. First night I didn't sleep with the smell in our room!! It was our 36th anniversary and I was devastated. Because I didn't want to complain 😌 but thank god I did we were moved to a fabulous room with the Seaview i thought i had booked!!! Anyway we were delighted with the surprise of balloons and champagne left for us by H10 to apologise for the 1st night of NO sleep 😴 Best place to eat during the day Bistro in adult only section!!! Only found on our 5th day!!! Great food and service 👌 👍 and pool!!!I might add we were Privilege customers but thought the Privilege pool was a joke 😃 and stayed in the main pool most of the week! Staff were lovely and attentive! Will come back in the future 🥰🥰with my family xx
