We had a lovely stay at BLUESEA Alyssa Suites and honestly don’t understand some of the terrible reviews!
Our suite was cleaned daily and was really spacious. We had three separate outdoor areas—one for washing and drying clothes, another that we used to store all our inflatables, and a lovely area at the front with chairs and sun loungers.
The staff were absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. My husband accidentally left his glasses in a taxi, and the reception staff went above and beyond to track down the taxi and get them returned to him. We were so grateful!
Before we arrived, I also contacted the hotel to arrange a birthday surprise for our son. They left a card, balloons and chocolates on his bed, which was such a lovely touch and made his birthday feel extra special. ❤️
The food was what we expected from an all-inclusive hotel. There was always something available for us to eat, although it could become a little repetitive after several days. The restaurant staff worked incredibly hard and were always friendly, even during the busiest mealtimes.
I do understand the comments about the entertainment, though, because there really wasn’t much happening. There was a live singer at the pool bar from around 9–10pm, but nothing around the pool during the day. Our room was directly opposite the kids’ club, but we didn’t see any children’s entertainment taking place at all during our stay. If you’re used to hotels with activities throughout the day and evening, you may find it disappointing. We were sometimes bored in the evenings and ended up going back to our room and playing our own music.
However, this was meant to be a relaxing break for us, and that’s exactly what it was. The spacious accommodation, wonderful staff and friendly service made our stay really enjoyable. ☀️❤️
Overall okay, room was clean and modern looking, resort is smaller than we were used to being our biggest problem and we struggled in the evenings after dinner. Entertainment was shocking. Did not have to worry about sunbeds as seemed very quiet by the pool.
Rooms very clean, great air con. Pool area nice, always sunbeds available although pool bar needs a bit attention on loose flooring etc for flip flops etc Staff were lovely, special mention to Maria who was so lovely, great Guest Service Manager too, however Rafella on reception really let team down, she was consistently rude, couldn't care attitude, we asked on 3 occasions re taxi, nearby market etc nothing too stressful but her manner was ignorant and she needs to be aware that although Scottish..I do speak fluent Italian and some Spanish so understood her moans and groans... I did pass these comments over on departure. However she did not ruin holiday, food was great, especially breakfast, will definitely return xx
the hotel overall is very good and deserves 4 stars but one member of staff ruins it. rafaella works in reception and is extremely rude. She makes us feel very unwelcome, starting from the first day we got here. (mind you we stayed 10 days.) She’s extremely judgemental and just waves her hand in your face if you try to speak to her. apart from her it is lovely xxxxxx
We had a great time with the 360 kamera yesterday!
