Rooms are divided in 2 customer orienteted areas, Family and Relax area that provides the best experience for each visitor. Each room is fully equipped with the last technology that allow our clients to open the doors digitally, have a High Quality Wi-Fi, Air-conditioning, Safe, Minibar, Smart TV with Cromecast and the best comfortable mattresses.
Healthy is another pillar of our mission, therefore we have elaborate a full range of different dishes that combines all specialities with one common ingredient, the local products. For all, for Vegans, for Vegetarian, for any kind of allergy, but with the aim to create great moments to be combined with the flexibility that you desire to have during your holidays

Great hotel
What a great hotel this was. We loved the half board credit which paid for all our lunches, drinks and a couple of evening meals. The a la carte restaurant was lovely and well priced. It was no dearer then the buffet restaurant for 3 courses plus drinks. The only criticism we ever had was the lack of staff at the bars both during the day and evening. Often long queues for drinks but the friendliness of the staff made up for that minor issue. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. Rooms were clean and well equipped. There are water dispensers at the children's pool and also the gym but theses are not really chilled. Bring a bottle to refill and ask for a cup of ice at the bar. There is plenty of space to relax around the pools. We chose to stay by the relax area pools as we were child free. It was lovely and quiet. The family areas were busier with music playing and lots of fun being had. Unfortunately that area tended to be messier with guests leaving rubbish to blow around instead of placing it in the marked bin areas for collection. Our plan was always to eat out most evenings as we were celebrating our Ruby wedding so the option to use our credit during the day worked really well for us. We paid for a late check out room so we could keep our credit active til we left. At the end of our stay we owed the hotel very little as the credit covered all our drinks, ice creams etc. A fabulous idea I wish more hotels used. We will definitely return.
Amazing time
We had an absolutely amazing time, the rooms were great, the pools are amazing staff were lovely and the credit system for half board was well worth the money. We also didn't have to be up early for loungers there are so many. We didn't eat in at night but purely by choice as we wanted to go out. But will definitely go back .

Mixed experience
We stayed for a week and stayed in room 1014, we had issues with plumbing the smell from the shower was terrible, we reported it twice and they tried to fix it, however, we were told they were fully booked, so could not move us. It led to shower overflowing on our last day. We had the night time entertainment right outside the room it was loud and there is no way we could sleep until it finished. If this is something you enjoy this is the room for you as you can enjoy from your balcony but was not something we enjoy. The hotel is overall great and the pool area clean and really lovely. We only had breakfast which was great with lots of variety. We found most of the staff friendly and helpful. I would recommend the hotel, but the room had issues which affected our stay.

Mixed exerience
Mixed experience. Staff are friendly. Room had issue with leaky shower, very smelly drains and a sewerage smell coming out of the shower. Maintenance tried to fix it but the smell lingered on. Air con is poor in rooms. Everyone you spoke to mentioned this. Standard rooms - you access your room via a balcony door. The balcony’s are open so people walk through your balcony to get to theirs. The shower and toilet are open plan and have a gap at the top so it is open to the room which is strange. They have frosted glass so you can see the outline of each other. Some guests may find this lack of privacy a problem. Breakfast fine but don’t expect an English breakfast. No beans, sausages etc. Buffet was mainly fussy dishes. No pizza, nuggets etc for children. The only thing my children would eat is chips so we never went back there. The à la carte restaurant is nice but you need to book and the menu is quite limited.
Pool bar the slowest service I’ve ever experienced on a holiday.
Overall a 3-4 star experience as opposed to a solid 4 star experience.

MYND Yaiza, family of 4 - great experience!
This was our first time at the MYND Yaiza hotel and it was superb. We are a family of 4 with a 6 and 11 year old. We have previously stayed at smaller hotels and were nervous about this being larger, but given the size of the pool areas and communal spaces this wasn’t to be a problem.
The food options are great and the flexibility of the half-board credit system was excellent as it allowed us to eat out of an evening and use the credit in the day for snacks, drinks, ice-creams, etc.
The location is perfect, with the beach front being only a 10 minute walk away - a nice flat route, which was ideal for our youngest.
The hotel had a great atmosphere, made possible by the 2 pool sections (family and relax). This allowed children to enjoy the pool area without any concerns about splashing others, floats, etc. The hotel managed the sun beds/towel situation well, with the manager appearing at breakfast one morning to remind guests of the rules and that sun beds should not be reserved - stating towels would be removed. Evening entertainment was relaxed - a singer each night, who performed outside on the terrace.
The food in the restaurant, which is buffet style, was good - there was always something for everyone and no complaints from the family. The option of the à la carte restaurant is nice and needs to be booked - a simple menu, waitress service and relaxed atmosphere.
All spaces, including the room, pools and restaurants were always incredibly clean.
The only slight criticism, but more so on our part for not checking in more detail was the room. We booked a suite with pool view for the 4 of us, but this was a sofa bed and 2 single beds (pushed together). In hindsight, adjoining rooms would have been a better option for more space and privacy - given the bathroom is open plan with only frosted glass, with no locks, on the toilet and shower. This was our fault, as it is very clear this is what it is in the photos. No real issue for us though, as the room was clean, well maintained and comfortable.
My wife used the spa and booked a treatment - she thoroughly enjoyed it was very reasonable (€72 for a 50 minute massage and facial).
The staff were all really helpful and friendly. Would most definitely visit again.
