Not a 4 star hotel
We arrived at around 19.15pm everything ready go then there systems were slow but everything got sorted within 20mins
We was in t528 which was overlooking the pool and the pool behind us the room was a little dated but you only sleep in there so we wasn’t that bothered really, although they have a problem with ants and the cleaners are pretty poor to be honest
There’s plenty of sunbeds for everyone so you don’t need to reserve you’re sun beds what so ever, the kids seemed to love the slides even if they were not the best but it kept them entertained
The pool bar is really good a rather fairly priced a San Miguel is 2.30 euro and so are soft drinks, the food is ok if you want a little snack
The shop on site has everything you need from beers too tampons again the beers are not bad upon price
The entertainment is horrendous it’s for the French even the bingo is in French, there’s nothing for the kids unless you’re French
The town itself is ok but be careful in certain restaurants as the food they serve is poor and they expect a tip
Great stay at THB Tropical Island
We stayed at TBH Hotel in Lanzarote in september. I read mixed reviews before booking the Hotel but we were looking for a last minute budget holiday so wasn’t expecting much considering the price we paid. However our stay was absolutely amazing in the Hotel. We were self catering for a week. Our apartment room was very clean, cleaners came in daily and tided the room, fresh towels, made the bed etc… The kitchen was all we could’ve needed for the week with a stove, microwave, toaster and fridge. Facilities worked all fine. The smaller pools weren't as clean as the big pools, we mainly stayed at the Adults pool which was really clean and tidy. There seemed to be lots for children to do with plenty of playgrounds and splash pools. We didn’t see the evening entertainment but during the day the poolside entertainment looked good fun for both adults and children!! Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location wasn’t too bad, the walk down to the beach with a range of restaurants and shops was about 10/15 minutes away. The marina was slightly further about 25 minutes but it’s a really nice walk. The beaches were very clean and the sea was lovely. There is a few beaches to explore and the Marina has lots to do as well as a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The staff in the restaurants and shops by the beach were all lovely and made it a really positive stay if your not all inclusive!! There is an Aldi 5 minute walk away and the shop in the Hotel was very reasonable priced and had most things you needed. Overall the Hotel does have mixed reviews but our stay was really good and all clean. I definitely would recommend if your looking for something a bit cheaper but still want a nice Holiday.

Currently staying here for a 10 days break visited last year and didnt think it was too bad/ good value, but visiting again this year the place has really gone down hill, the rooms are outdated infested with ants, we had to throw out all the food we had bought as the ants had got into them, but the main problem we have is everything is geared towards the French, all the entertainment is in French, we went to the karaoke last night and had to leave after a few minutes as it was the same few french people getting up to scream out songs. Avoid if you speak english
1 week self catering holiday
Arrived and reception staff informative.Very large complex with various facilities, including pools, restaurants, spa and gym. Room was spacious included kitchen area with 2 hob induction cooker, fridge and kettle.Complimentary bottle of water on arrival. Large balcony that had room for 4 person table and chairs and clothes drier. Spacious bathroom however, there was an issue with drainage and water had to be run for a few minutes as discoloured. Bedroom contained safe but unfortunately this did not work as previous occupants closed the door which meant it could not be opened again, reported this and drainage issue to reception but they did not arrive to fix However, these are minor points, we were self catering but did use the Atlantic restaurant on first night, the service and food was nice. Onsite supermarket is small but is open until late, however, you can use supermarket at sister hotel THB royal but this closed early. However, if you used the back gate of complex the Aldi was close by and cheaper than at home. We walked into Playa Blanca each night for food and various restaurants/bars however, not sure if this time of year is out of season as some restaurants closed and for many it was best to book ahead. Pool areas of complex were cleaned daily and plenty of loungers but limited parasols. There was a lifeguard that kept eye on pool areas. Housekeeping staff were pleasant and towels changed. Gym was small but does the job.

Terrible, the worst ever. Flat contaminated with Ants
Our whole apartment is contaminated with Ants. We had to throw away our whole food on second day of arrival. They are in every cupboard, toilet, sofas, bed sheets, under pillows, all over kitchen etc etc. Reception service is terrible. Every time they say we are sending someone over its a lie. They will never come.
