The hotel will appeal to sports enthusiasts and relaxation seekers alike with its array of first-class leisure and recreational facilities. All guests will appreciate the delectable dining options the restaurant has to offer, offering delightful specialities from all over the globe.
The location of the hotel is great, short transfer time, close to a bars, shops, beach. Rooms are dated but clean. Air con is weak. We had a great beach, pool view, decent shower. Most staff are friendly. Some of the reception staff can be rude- we were told we could not have a shower after checking out at 12pm as the courtesy room was out of order. This was miraculously turned around when we involved the TUI rep and we were then allowed to use the showers in the spa for free. The hotel is relatively clean, the cleaners have a near impossible job due to how busy the hotel is, pool toilets and bars never out of use. Food is ok, oriental restaurant and burger bar are good. Pool rules are ridiculous, no balls allowed in the pool at all. Only small floats. Entertainment is woeful, not enough seats at the main bar, down on the -1 floor when the hotel has so much space outside, awful design. There is no music or life down there until 8.20pm when they finally turn the music on and the mini disco starts. There is also no music around the pool until the animation team appear at about 11am. The club song is good, but I can’t say much more. The kids club is worn which also has a strange touch of a sofa made of 3 old, stained hotel mattresses and sheets. Overall we had a good holiday, but at times it was a struggle. Would not stay here again, expected a lot more.
We travelled there end of July to August 6th, got there at 1:30 am and were told we could have some food which was half an egg some slices of meat , bread and something else, the guy on duty was as miserable as sin and told us we only had 20 minutes to eat it, kids didn’t eat it , food was the usual inclusive stuff, but genuinely not that good, I know you get what you pay for but we’ve had better for less, rooms are clean , ours had a huge cockroach shuttling around until it was stamped on, no privacy in the room, ok with little kids but not older ones, air con was rubbish too, pool area was nice but the poolsides were filthy , you’d assume they would be hosed down daily but no ! Loungers were dirty too, everyone’s sweat and crap for weeks and months on them , staff were quiet rude and dismissive, I know they work hard but a smile doesn’t hurt, two of the staff were amazing though , a lady on the pool bar called Eva who was utterly fantastic and a younger lad with dark curly hair, credit to the hotel, entertainment was dire for the high season ! The restaurant and bar were sub floor level , quiet dark and oppressive, had to book for the Chinese meal and bbq but honestly poor , just a slight twist on the usual fodder, on our last night we were refused dinner as they said our stay finished at 6pm even though we had a late transfer and didn’t get there until after the first night onto speak ! and said we had to pay nearly €90 to eat if we wanted to, no chance Beatriz ! Also no where to change or wash as check out is 12pm so pool all day change clothes in the toilet and away you go, I’d honestly not go back and if you are looking for a good resort look elsewhere for the price you pay ! There is better !! Only gave 2 stars for the 2 excellent staff
God awful place - its falling down, dirty and unsafe. The pool area in 2 weeks has not been cleaned, the sunbeds have god knows how many years of other peoples suncream on - I think they must have been blue when new, but are now a sort of dirty brown colour. Food, rank, staff, rank, rooms, rank - honestly if you are due to arrive really think hard about changing your hotel now.
Have arrived back from a week at hotel, group of 11 (7adults & 4 teenage children) we got all rooms on same floor and length of corridor. Great location, only 6 minutes in transfer from airport, beach front and short walk to flight path to watch the planes take off and landing. Rooms were cleaned everyday, ample space for 3 adults and wheelchair. Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful when needed, quick at booking taxis, giving new key cards when we forgot them. Personally we thought the hotel facilities were excellent and great variety for everyone. €1 for cup from bar is standard from any AI we have been too, restaurants were well catered with more than ample variety and amount of food, (Main buffet restaurant, Beatriz Burger Bar only open at lunch, Italian and Oriental restaurants that reservations were required through reception). We found entertainment was varied and met multiple needs/tastes (you can't please everyone) Abba tribute/circus acts were our best nights. Daytime entertainment was well advertised and team announcements poolside kept everyone informed of what was happening, when and where. Overall our stay was very relaxing, pleasing, happy and we will be returning. Oh forgot to mention the 2 amazing photographer guys who took photos around the pool and outside restaurant daily and other photos at your request (we had family photos done in courtyard garden for MIL 80th Birthday which were a lovely memory for her to keep. (Thanks guys) these were priced at €10 per photo also little shops and kids arcade meant you don't even need to leave the hotel if you don't want. Massive thanks to all the Team there for making this a memorable holiday. See you sometime soon.
Just returned from a week at Beatriz playa and spa .. when we booked reviews were quite good but just before we travelled realised they were actually quite poor and were worried - this is how we found it as 2 adults and 2 teens.
I’ve put 4/5 however probably around a 3.5/5.
Good points
Bad points
Overall hotel and location was good. Food repetitive but no different from other all inclusive hotels.
Top tips: You pay 1€ per glass at the beach bar and they will change the glass for a fresh one each time you go back. Keep your glass at the end of the day and then go back with it the next day to avoid paying 1€ every time you want a drink.
We never had an issue getting a sun bed but on our last day many families were left without one and were complaining people were reserving sun beds so security may start removing towels from reserved beds.
Small park behind the medium sized pool or a larger one just out of the hotel on the beach front.
Mini disco starts at 20:00 and main act 21:00 but unless you get there for around 19:30 I wouldn’t bother going at all.
Mini golf and football included but deposit needed which you get back when you return equipment.
Based on the animation team, lack of entertainment and standard of room/beds they gave my teenagers we wouldn’t return to this hotel but would 100% return to Lanzarote.
