This apartment complex enjoys a quiet setting within walking distance of all the facilities of Puerto del Carmen in a popular part of the resort. Guests will find the Main Avenue just a few metres away, while the resort centre and shops are around 300 m from the property. This large, attractive apartment complex is the perfect place for those guests seeking a quiet but central location. It comprises a total of 115 accommodation units, and offers a number of recreation opportunities and services. An outdoor swimming pool with children's swimming area, sun loungers and parasols is at guest's disposal, and golf enthusiasts will find the nearest golf course about 1 km from the property.
Great location near the beaches and strip. Food, drink and staff all palatable. Only air con was in the bedroom, none in restaurant or reception. Bedroom window didn't fit the frame. The shower drain cover not fixed. Big gap under apartment door. Things crawled in most days so we were reluctant to consume or store food in the apartment. The apartments and grounds need a deep clean and more regular maintenance. I have stayed in better 3* places.
We arrived about 8.30pm & first we noticed the front door handle hanging off & grubby mat by door! The reception looked dated, yet staff seemed nice & helpful. We got to our room & again very dated, basic & a tad shabby looking. Headed to eat quickly as restaurant shut at 9pm, food was ok but not that great! Entertainment seemed ok. We slept ok so that was good. Had breakfast which was pretty good but could do with more cereal. Got a sunbed just! That was at 8am but only two left at that time! Pool area was ok but again everything is a bit dated & needs re vamping! Overall experience the hotel is ok if you like basic, the cleaners are not good at all as never cleaned our room just changed towels once & never beds & we are used to at least once the sheets changed in a weeks stay! Also we had faeces come up into our shower ( photo enclosed) & although they were quick to sort issue the cleaners did nothing but spray & dry wipe floor after maintenance had finished, not even a proper clean! Sunbeds everyone reserved stupidly early ( 5.30am!) none available after 8am & hardly any umbrellas for size of hotel! The reception staff are good as is Sam the entertainment guy but other than that it’s not great at all & we definitely wouldn’t go back! If you like basic, outdated, sunbed wars ( with no umbrella) no clean towels or sheets regularly & not much selection of food then this is ok for you, otherwise please don’t book it, I’m not fussy but this was not a good experience or hotel! Definitely not 4^ more like a 2^
I would not recommend going here with young children, there is nothing to do for them. There is plenty of open space for the possibly of a small park or something for them to do. The food isn’t great, not a very good variety and some of the food was raw, such as the steak. The rooms are basic, very old and could do with an update. The shower is constantly hot and cold, it doesn’t stay at a consistent temperature. There are ants in the rooms, there are no locks on the doors either, they open when you turn the handle. It is not safe for toddlers or young children as they can easily get out. The stairs had water thrown down them so it was a slipping hazard. This was done by the maids. The couches are all ripped and starting to show their age. The whole place needs to be refreshed. Absolutely nothing like the pictures. The staff are rude, unhelpful and play music that is inappropriate for children. I would not stay here again, and recommend anyone with young children to do the same.
We recently stayed here and overall had a good holiday. The hotel is in a great location with a safe, relaxed atmosphere, and the reception staff were always lovely, friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything.
The rooms are comfortable, although they are starting to look a little dated and could benefit from a refresh. Housekeeping was inconsistent during our stay, with most days where the cleaning wasn’t completed to a particularly high standard or wasn’t done at all.
Unfortunately, we experienced an issue with cockroaches in our first room on the terrace, seeing three get in through the doors within around 20 minutes. However, the hotel responded quickly and moved us to another room the next morning which we appreciated.
The food was generally good with some choice, although it did seem like some items were reused throughout the day in the snack bar. The bar itself was quite basic, with a limited selection of drinks ( one beer , one wine ) and some of the bar and waiting staff came across as less welcoming than the reception team.
One thing we found frustrating was the water policy. Guests aren’t allowed to refill water bottles, and drinking water is only available from the restaurant during meal times or in small glasses from the bar unless you buy bottled water.
The Wi-Fi also wasn’t very reliable during our stay.
Despite these negatives, we still enjoyed our holiday. The location, helpful reception staff, and overall atmosphere made for a pleasant stay. With a few improvements to the rooms, housekeeping, and some of the facilities, this hotel could easily live up to its four-star rating. I’d consider returning, but I hope some of these issues are addressed first.
Had amazing holiday in PDC. Hotel was fantastic and spacious with lovely pool. Stayed in room 92 and delighted. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Excellent vibe due to Sam and all the staff. Great location for families heading to beach or main strip. Food and drink very good. Thank you all
