An extremely varied entertainment programme is on offer at the Seaside Los Jameos Playa including golf, live music and acts and a free introductory 'sniff-dive' in the hotel's pool from the certified diving instructor who visits once a week. If you decide to venture further out then the resort of Puerto del Carmen is host to an array of appetizing restaurants, exciting shops and quirky bars. Another holiday to Seaside Los Jameos
We have stayed at the hotel a few times before over the years . Always a great holiday . We stayed in a newly renovated accessible room . Not a large spacious room but perfect for what we wanted. Room and beds comfortable Nice balcony with 2 chairs, however if you opt for larger balcony you can fit sunbeds on them if you ask. Also they have mattresses which is important to us for a comfy sunbed and relaxation. Bathroom had a seat that folded down from the wall for the shower if required. Grab rails where needed too. You could park the mobility scooter and charge in the large wide corridors . Lifts are small in the corridors and we didn’t try to get scooter in those, we went to main reception to get the larger lift to the restaurant and pool area. More outside dining areas now , even better than before . Evening meal I feel wasn’t quite as good as it used to be , but we ate lots all the same and always found something we liked . Breakfast was superb . Staff kind and helpful at all times . Wonderful access to the promenade via large garden area path. A few bars and restaurants in the area and even more in PDC if you want a walk , bus ride or taxi . There is a separate children’s area pool , slides etc which looked great too . Kids can go anywhere in any pool . Great walk in opposite direction to PDC along prom to watch the planes coming in . Great short transfer to and from airport .

3rd time prob last
Disappointed third time here. Still here. Service at bars day and night poor. Nowhere near enough staff to cope with orders. Expect 20 to 30 mins wait for every drink. Entertainment not like it was last time we came. Food nice

Jameos playa seaside excellent
We’ve been holidaying here since 2012. Although initially concerned about the renovation as we loved the old hotel the Jameos team have done a great job. Beautiful rooms, great bed, excellent showers, top quality bed linen. The food buffet is enormous but high quality. The new pool and slides have replaced the sports tennis, soccer which for some teenagers might be a negative. Mixed feelings on the milk bar. The staff have changed over the years but still providing very good service. Jameos is still a wonderful place to visit with family. Lots of memories here.

A lovely resort with incredible food and rooms, just needs a few tweaks to be perfect!
We have just returned from a stay at Seaside Los Jameos and overall had a wonderful holiday. The recent refurbishment is beautiful, and the rooms are stunning. A huge shoutout to the housekeeping team—the cleanliness across the entire resort is a solid 9/10 and everything is kept absolutely spotless. The catering is easily some of the best we have experienced. The buffet food was amazing (a true 9/10), and the quality of the drinks was excellent. With just a few minor operational and safety improvements, this hotel would easily reach a full 5-star standard. Currently, the drink queues at the bars can become quite long and frustrating during peak times. It seems like the system of manually logging room numbers into the computer for every drink order creates a bottleneck for the staff, which in turn makes the pool bar area feel a bit stressed. A slightly faster or more streamlined system would make a massive difference to the guest experience. Management also needs to look at the layout of the breakfast buffet, as there is a genuine safety hazard regarding the hot water station for filling teapots. It is located right next to the toaster where people queue. On busy mornings with people rushing around, it is very congested, and I nearly bumped into a few people while carrying boiling hot water. Separating these two busy stations would make breakfast much safer for everyone. We did have one very uncomfortable interaction at the Milk Lab bar when inquiring about a lost sun cap. I want to emphasize that I was in no way confrontational; in fact, seeing how busy they were, I had calmly suggested to my son that we head over to Pepe's Shack instead to help reduce their congestion. Despite being polite and relaxed, I was deeply embarrassed by the aggressive way the two bar staff spoke to me. A slight language barrier seemed to cause some crossed wires, but extra focus on hospitality training during busy moments is definitely needed. (Ironically, we later found the cap safely over at Pepe's Shack!) Pepe staff were lovely.
For families traveling with older kids (ages 9–12), it is worth noting that the sports pitch and tennis courts have been removed. While the children’s entertainment is lovely for younger kids, pre-teens who prefer sports over mini-club activities might find themselves with a bit less to do. Reintroducing a dedicated sports area or teen-focused games would be a fantastic addition. Lastly, adding a few more daytime snack options—particularly vegan alternatives—at the pool bar would be highly appreciated. This is a beautiful, clean, and high-quality hotel that we would certainly consider returning to. It just needs a few small tweaks to its buffet layout, bar service, and youth activities to make it absolutely flawless!
