Suite Hotel Fariones

Beautiful hotel, modern, spotlessly clean. We stayed in 118/119 interconnecting two rooms for 4 of us. Ground floor led straight out to the pool area worth mentioning the thick padded beds leather so much more hygienic (wipe clean) and comfortable. Both rooms have their own key. Which both worked the main door outside. I had. 13 and 21 year old in a room.

We stayed half board only used the restaurant first night for dinner, it was okay nothing special, we just walked down to the centre and ate out every night there. Great variety and value.

Hotel Breakfast was lovely and so fresh. Massive crossaints freshly prepared and still warm.

However we did use the restaurant snack bar for lunch on our last day waiting for pick up .. the smash burgers were one of the best I’ve tried anywhere.

Hotel is close to supermarkets and there’s a Burger King 3 mins walk if you have teenagers. Next door the supermarket is so clean, their ham and cheese baguettes were made fresh and had them as a snack in the afternoon.

Hotel is directly linked to the beach.. I enjoyed the beech for a walk in the morning.

Things to note:-

Bed police - they have a guy who comes round and leaves a note if you leave towels down and don’t return. Absolutely fine with this .. however you are more or less on a timer to have your breakfast if your more than 45mins which happened to us a at least 3 occasions you get a ticket. However very inconsistent as we took picture of the beds beside us and no one returned for ages and no ticket.

Transfer time 15mins in a taxi.

Would definitely return. 8/10

We had a fantastic stay here and, even though we've holidayed in Puerto del Carmen about 10 or 15 times, it was our first stay in Plus Fariones.

Where to begin? Well, I'd contacted Alfredo, one of the managers, prior to our arrival and he replied to my queries quickly and efficiently. He was also extremely helpful in person when we met face to face.

Breakfast and dinner: Our plan was to eat out 6 or 7 times in our 13 night stay as we have some favourite restaurants in town but the food was so good – and varied - that we only dined out once.

The pool area was lovely too with easy access to the beach. I am a keen snorkeler and the snorkelling in this area is very good – and you can easily swim to Playa Chica where the variety of fish is terrific.

Every single member of staff was helpful and cheerful - I remember that Thomas, Ivan, May, Carolina and Carmen were all very kind to us – but, really, it's unfair to pick anyone out as all of the staff were lovely (and, sadly, I’ve forgotten the names of other helpful staff)

Our (air conditioned) room, which was cleaned daily, was perfect with a separate area for relaxing as well as a balcony. It had a fridge too which meant we could stock up on water, beer and soft drinks from the local supermarket. Having said that, we bought various drinks and snacks at the poolside and, again, the service was impeccable.

The room was really quiet. Even when the entertainment was on we couldn't hear it if we closed our patio doors.

All in all, the facilities here were perfect. We normally go to a private apartment when visiting Carmen but we will definitely return here – we had a fabulous time.
