The swimming pools are the heart of the THB Flora hotel. This is where guests flock to swim and mingle, to soak up some sun and take it easy. Fringed with palm trees, there's no better place to while away the hours. There's a great snack bar on hand too, so you can spend as much of the day outside, with snacks and cool drinks whenever you fancy.
The THB Flora's gardens are another big attraction. It's a real treat to be able to step out of the sun for a while and enjoy a shady stroll around the hotel, taking in the delights of the garden as you go.

Wary of staying in Flora 2
Stayed in Flora 2 Up the top of a very steep hill the staff were very Friendly and Helpfull when we were there the Ladies in the next were Robbed from thier Room and had Money and Phones stolen from the room when they went for Dinner found out after it is a very commen in Flora 2 and has happened numerous times this part of the Hotel has very insecure sliding doors and in my opinion all should be replaced with more secure doors which meant we were very wary of leaving our room for any lengthof time would roccoment only staying in Flora 1 as dousn't happen over there??

Unacceptable Safety Failure and Shocking Lack of Empathy
I am writing this review both as a deeply concerned parent and as a experienced hotel manager from Cork, Ireland. My daughter stayed at this hotel the night before her wedding—a time that should have been joyful and stress-free—only for the experience to be completely ruined by serious security failures and appalling customer service.
During the stay, a major incident affected multiple guest rooms across the property, not just the wedding party. Shockingly, the room locks were broken, leaving guests—including young children—feeling completely vulnerable, unsafe, and terrified in a foreign country.
As someone who manages a hotel, I understand better than most that operational issues and technical failures can occur. However, what defines a hospitality establishment is how leadership and staff respond when things go wrong. That response is your saving grace, and in this instance, management and staff failed miserably.
The front-of-house staff on duty were clearly untrained to handle a basic emergency or critical security incident. More damning than the lack of training was the absolute absence of empathy. No genuine support, assistance, or reassurance was offered to families left feeling unsafe in their own rooms.
To leave guests, especially a bride on the eve of her wedding and families with young children, stranded in fear with compromised room security and zero duty of care is utterly disgraceful. Equipment can fail, but a complete breakdown in basic guest safety, crisis management, and elementary human empathy is unacceptable. I strongly advise travelers—particularly families and wedding parties—to think twice before booking here.
Over 30 rooms got robbed
Stayed here for a wedding as majority of the bridal party where staying there and we had a discount code. We stayed in a junior sweet which was on the small side but had a pool view which was nice and we were up high. The breakfast was fantastic they put on a great choice . Very windy where we were . Pool was freezing aswell . There was no atmosphere around the pool no entertainment nothing . When it was a full house over the wedding . Its also up hills but taxi too strip is €4
Then came the bad part which is the real reason . The night before my nieces wedding over 30 rooms where broken into and robbed , passports, cash, clothes, jewellery, and the rooms where located across the road where there's no cameras . None of the guest knew that neither did my niece whose been going there over 10yrs . So whoever robbed the rooms which were majority bridal party knew there was no cameras . It had too br an inside job aswell because some of the doors where relocked and that can only be done with actual key and next day when people where out some stuff turned back up. We all were getting phone calls off each other while out saying get back and check your rooms because staff weren't checking all rooms were safe . Taxi after taxi was pulling up checking rooms but it was all the rooms across the road with no cameras and none on the side where reception was . Not a coincidence. The police were called and the manager didn't even go to the guest to see if they were ok or to even apologise. They got nowhere with the manager , the reception was useless aswell . Reviews online show across the road gets robbed alot but yet management don't do anything about it or even install cameras so they know who it is . Wouldn't be recommending this place too anyone. Even my niece went too talk to the manager as they brought alot of business to the hotel and got nowhere . We were scared the rest of our holiday incase our room got broken into and it ruined the rest of our holiday.

Excellent Stay
We stayed here just last week, for 7 nights, 2 couples .. we shared a two bed a Superior apartment over in Flora II, which was 383 right next to the pool ..(Deep pool.no shallow end ) very quite and relaxing ..ideal for us .. it was spacious, beds were comfy .. just as I like a bed firm but comfy.. but i know that's not everyone's taste.. bathroom was great size, shower walk in huge .. plenty of room .. it was clean and had everything in it that you'd want for self catering... although we were there on B&B.. 2 washing machines and a dryer were just literally 20 steps from our apartment. Washer €4 Dryer €3
To get to reception, main pool,kids pool, restaurant, shop, mini market you could go two ways .. one through a tunnel ..perfect .. or through a gate and over a main road straight into reception.. we used the tunnel all the time.. only if we were going down the town for we use the card coded gate..
The Atmosphere was lovely here, staff were all so nice.. right from our lovely cleaner to the maintenance to the restaurant staff, bar staff, entertainment (kevin) to the reception.. all so very welcoming and nice..
The food was fab, breakfast was buffet style if you were paying €14 50% off for kids , but all you could eat.. from fruit, yogurts, cereals to salad, cheese, ham, fish.. the fry up.. crepes omelette to pastries.. sure if you left hungry I don't know where or what you're eating on a daily basis at home.. same for Dinner..€16 and 50% off for kids.. all sorts of everthing, fresh cooked in front of you..steaks fish prawns etc along with a pleathera of other themed foods, deserts, pastas, stews, paella, chips, nuggets, pulled pork, chicken every way.. curries, and everthing in-between.. huge choice... all as nice as each other.. so much so we just ate there each night.. such good value, Pool bar food.. excellent too.. the hot dogs were fab as were the croquettes... my recommendation of coarse...
The gym was open as was the wellness centre..we didn't use but they looked in good service..
Souvenir shop, had loads in it .. anything you needed.. from tops to swim wear to keyrings, speakers, cards, jewellery.. towels.. needle to an anchor comes to mind..
Mini markets had lots in it .. great for convenience, however there is another hypo market with lots more variety down the road literally 5 minutes walk.. downhill..lol
Towels; you can hire, €10 from reception.. then the lifegard/medic folk will exchange your towel when you need it over your stay.. then return your last towel to reception for your deposit back..
Entertainment: kids club abs evening entertainment seemed to be Kevin.. great man altogether.. hearts with the kids and adults alike ... bingo, quizz, etc.. prob winding down when we were there..but i imagine during summer it be great crack...
Beach bus 3 times daily... Taxi 4/5 euro... Walking: while you can walk down to the strip .. walking back might be tough to most... we just got taxi back... i was hampered with an injury just before I came over, ordinarily we would walk every where, but even for me those hills might have beaten me..lol.. so walk down..get all the little local shops .. taxi back... simple...
Cats: ...as mentioned in other reviews; ... yes.. the same few(4) every day, were not in any way an inconvenience, we are animal lovers, so they did not impact our holiday at all.. they weren't a nuisance at all... minding their own business.
Overall this hotel was really nice..food was fab, comfortable clean and a good atmosphere. We are already looking at next year...

Amazing
Amazing stay at the Flora, after reading the reviews on the way to the hotel I was extremely worried. We’re were in the self catering apartments, there is a security guard and a key card gate to get in so you don’t need to worry. You also get access to use the safe free of charge. Rooms small but very clean and tidy, no sun bed wars there was plenty of beds more than enough for everyone. Self catering side it’s a deep pool but more quieter and then across the road to the main pool but we preferred the smaller one. Food isn’t great in the hotel but head down to the purple turtle it’s so cheap and really nice food too, supermarket 5 mins down the road. Quite far from the strip of bars around a 25 mins walk but you can get a taxi only 4 euro each way which we did a couple of times.
