September visit
Stayed here September 13th all inc for 9 nights. FOOD was OK but temperatures were warm or cool not hot unless just come out, variety was good but cooked breakfast was the same all the time. 1 day a week they had hash browns to mix it up, plenty of continental and fruit etc.
Drinks where good , 4 beers on draught, peroni , estrella and tropical + Isahi. Jamesons and smernoff named brands inc on the
AI.
Hotel was clean and tidy and well looked after , a bit dated and could really do with an upgrade.
Staff where ok.
Ideal location , bus stop outside to get all the way to the harbour or a 2 mile pleasent walk down the strip past plenty of bars and restaurants.
Showers not great as very old and need replacing , bath tub had been repaired a good few times and looked a bit of a mess to be honest.
Over all not a bad stay but improvement needed for the hotel.
HOT FOOD , BETTER SHOWERS , DECOR UPLIFT.
Entertainment not great but better than nothing.
Overall for the money I paid would not stay at the hotel again as more expensive than others.
This is more of an older person's Hotel from what I can gather from my visit.
Air-conditioning was great
Checked out at 12.00 and was getting picked up at 1700 , no drinks allowed after this but they did stamp our ticket for lunch. Probably the only 1 hotel that we have been to has done this and we have been to a good few. Shame as would of finished our trip off. We arrived at 2100 by the way and never had drinks untill after this so really should just let you off.

Excessive cigarette smoke ruined our holiday
Our third holiday at the Vik hotel, but this one was ruined by excessive cigarette smoke everywhere you go outside. Whether on our bedroom balcony, around the 3 pools, at the outside bar, on the balcony outside the concert room, it was so overpowering for a non-smoker. Not suitable for anyone with lung conditions. A real pity, because it is a wonderful hotel, beautiful beaches, nice location with a short walk to the town, comfortable bedroom with balcony, bed and pillows, nice shower. The food is varied, plentiful and enjoyable, we especially liked the breakfast every morning with delicious sausages and bacon. A huge selection of hot and cold food, with a good variety of breads, cakes, fruit, salad and ice cream, washed down with hot, cold and alcohoic drinks. Friendly staff, some gave exceptional customer service. Perhaps the hotel should consider no smoking areas which would give them another 5 star rating. Until then, we are sadly unlikely to return

Our yearly fix of paradise in Lanzarote
this was about our tenth visit to this hotel, that probably says it all! :) it never ever disappoints, we always book a suite room 1326 or 2326,,,fabulous views and more space but on peeking into a standard room next door it looked great. why do people whinge about minor things in this vintage hotel, over 50 years old, it is going to have a slightly dated feel, speaking as a defo over 50 year old woman, indeed so do i! service fab on all counts from reception to cleaning ladies, restaurant and bar staff, they are so grateful for a tip or two and as they work their spanish socks off relentlessly we were more than happy to thank them daily with a few euros! Every night our dinner table was ready with a bottle of house rose on ice, the food is plentiful and varied for brekky, lunch and dinner! my tip re pool bar, get there at 12 as the tables fill up very quickly, there is a lovely menu for al fresco lunching but be mindful this has to be ordered between 12 & 1, after that lunch is in the dining room between 1 & 3, having become dab hands at this, two cold beers were always followed by ordering our food at 10 to 1, with yet another bottle of chilled rose to wash it down with, so THANK YOU SAN VIK ANTONIO! Am currently hoping for 2 visits in 2027, june & september . and finally it was fab to see the waterfall coming from the upper pool working again! with love from Carolyn & Duncan...a mid 60's couple who still have a bit of life in them!!

1st the good. Lovely foyer and friendly greeting from staff good location Very clean, All staff friendly and hard working.fresh bottle of water left everyday along with teabags coffee Sugar and milk. Pools fab and kept very clean plenty of sun beds. The not so good Food good quality but not hot very busy unless you get to resturant early Cocktails not free on all inc only the one of the hotels choice as they do a daily cocktail from 17.30 which is free but any other is chargable.pina colada very watery. Asked for an ice coffee from pool bar hot coffee was made with ice cube added On our last day all inc stops at mid day.except for lunch with 1 drink Think it would be nice even if water could continue until departure.

Excellent.
We were made to feel really welcome from the moment we stepped through the door, everywhere is so clean, the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful, the rooms were great as were the facilities. The food was incredible with many choices and different each meal. We went all inclusive so had drinks and snacks available throughout the day, everything you could want on site so no need to leave the hotel.
