Situated just a few steps from a white sandy beach, this family-friendly hotel is located in the popular holiday resort of Cala d'Or on the south-eastern tip of the Mediterranean island of Majorca. A large variety of restaurants and bars is within a short stroll; the marinas are within easy reach. The international airport of Palma is within about an hour by car. Rooms are fully equipped with air conditioning, TV, a terrace and a private bathroom with a hairdryer to offer comfort and relaxation for a plesant stay. For relaxation, hotel provides the outdoor pool and indoor heated pool, and for the active ones; workout in the gym or table tennis, tennis and billiards are available too. It is a great place to launch a fabulous vacation; the hotel provides guests with the ultimate experience.

Ants in bed and room
Really disappointed with our stay. A week into our holiday we woke up to our room covered in ants, including ants in our bed, and my partner was bitten. We then realised our balcony door doesn’t close properly, and our room is right beside very overgrown grass with balcony doors that didn’t close properly where there are constantly bugs, so it’s not surprising we’ve had this issue.
We went to reception and housekeeping came up, but the first time the mattress topper wasn’t changed, there were hairs all over the “fresh” bedding and there were still ants on the floor. We had to go back to reception again and wait an hour and a half before two housekeepers eventually came back to change the bedding.
Even after this, there were still dead ants left on the floor which we reported to reception and nothing was done about.
Good for a Short Stay
The hotel location is a comfortable transfer distance from Palma Airport. It’s close to a small down and 30 minute walk to Cala d’Or centre. The marina is lovely. The hotel atmosphere was relaxed, people chilling, not rowdy and the entertainment at night was good. The Velvet Supremes were exceptional and we had so much fun during their stunning performance!
The rooms were disappointing and let the lovely hotel down. We had booked studio apartments and the description changed after we arrived. The small studio room was 2 very poor foam based single beds, a tired kitchen that was just not usable, a small bathroom that was in bad repair and smelled badly of sewage. It’s such a shame as the hotel surroundings are so well maintained and the rooms are grim.
We felt the price for a 3 night, all inclusive stay £458 was okay but based on the room and food it maybe could have been cheaper.
The staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Thank you for letting us hang around the hotel after check out to wait for our late airport transfer. The only disappointment was one of our party reported €70 and a pay of sunglasses missing from her room. The issue wasn’t really resolved and she has had to just accept the loss.
Overall we had a pleasant enough stay, the all inclusive drinks were good and the food was okay. The pool and seating areas are lovely and the grounds are beautiful but the rooms are disappointing and I think beyond 3 nights I couldn’t stay there. Cala Egos and Cala d’Or are beautiful and I would return to the area.

Good location as a base. Close to two beaches, shops and restaurants. It is about a 30 minute walk to Cal a’dor along the marina.
I like the fact you have to pay 1 euro to get a cup for your drink as this stopped loads of empty cups being left around the pool.
Nice outside pools
Good evening entertainment every night (apart from the DJ act).

Shower was lukewarm and not powerful Bathroom was very dark Not enough towels in the room No full length mirror in the room Room was only cleaned once during our stay Food is very basic and cold Sunbeds were broken and needed updating Hair dryer did not work and the TV Lots of ants in the room, perhaps unavoidable
Would I stay here again. No, much nicer hotels or apartments around. But I did only pay £450 for 4 nights all-inclusive so you get what you pay for!

Honest review all inclusive
We were staying at the superior room and we think it was worth the extra cost. The only thing I can complain about is that they didn’t clean the floor very well, therefore it was a bit sandy sometimes.
The food was pretty average all inclusive food, and almost the same everyday. There is something for everyone, even for picky eaters like me.
The staff were amazing, especially the animation team! They were very outgoing and included all the guests and they really got us in a good mood.
There are two beaches nearby which is nice. Although the pool areas were nice too. Something that bothered us a bit was that everyone placed their towels on the sunbeds early in the morning, therefore be ready to do the same if you want a spot.
The all inclusive drinks were nice and you were able to choose your own drinks as well.
We went in early september and it was still hot weather on the days (30 celsius) and very comfortable temperatures in the evening.
Definitely not a 4 star
The location is great, but the hotel rooms were so disappointing. It really doesn’t look how it is advertised. The rooms are old and smelt musty. We were on ground floor near the terrace by the pool and the sliding door wouldn’t open and when we finally open it, we couldn’t get it to close. We had to take our valuables out with us. We felt unsafe sleeping that night. As well as the door there were several issues.

*shower water was only warm, never hot and the water was salty! *There was a sewage smell that sometimes appeared. *The hotel charge you €30 to use the Balinese beds and the usual loungers are uncomfortable and hard and you have to pay and deposit and daily charge to use the towels that were washed out green. I was just disappointed to be honest.
