The famous marina with its large variety of restaurants, bars and cafés can be reached within a short stroll. The island capital of Palma and the international airport are about an hours' drive away.

Honest review.
Excellent location. The hotel is dated. Check in was strange had to do it over whatsapp. Towels and chairs and tables on balconies are old and desperately need replaced. Rooms are fair size but dated. Beds are comfy. We had a double room on the 3rd floor overlooking the main pool - balcony was fab and view was stunnning. Got sun in the morning too which was lovely. If we had a different room it may not have been as enjoyable. Hotel is split in two. The better rooms are on the side with the main pool and bar area overlooking the pool so we lucked out with our room. Breakfast and lunch are okay dinner was however not good and we had to eat out most nights (7 of 9) which was disappointing having paid for all inclusive. Drinks are okay but served in plastic cups which makes everything taste like plastic. These cups are not cleaned great I had red lipstick marks on my cup one night and I don't wear lipstick. Pool area is closed until 10am and gates shut promptly at 6pm. Go early if you want a sunbed most were gone by 11am. Staff are pleasant if you're nice to them they're nice to you. Location is second to none. 3 min walk to the beach. 5 min walk to the shops bars and resturaunts. Would i stay here again...only if it was a really cheap deal.

Don’t bother. Rude staff, poor food/drinks far nicer hotels
Very disappointing visit. Location is great but that’s about it. Our 2 bed apartment was extremely basic and quite frankly could have done with a full renovation. The sink was smashed, the glass in the bathroom window was broken, the door into the balcony wouldnt open fully because hit off the bed. Couldn’t use the balcony due to the mess from the palm trees. Others in the resort were trimmed but not the ones at the crazy golf, therefore our table, chairs and entire balcony was covered in remnants from the trees. Couldn’t even hang out our swimwear or towels or they were covered too. Lights didn’t work in other bedroom. Housekeeping however was very good and the resort was kept spotless. The worst part of the hotel was certain receptionists and how they dealt with my accident at the pool. The handrail does not come all the way out of the pool and the last step is still submerged under water with nothing to hold on to. The step was extremely slippy and I fell onto the concrete lip around the pool. I reported this to the lifeguard (who didn’t attempt to help me up, infact didn’t see it as always sits on phone at the top of the steps) and also to reception. The 2 females there were rude and laughed at me, even though I was clearly in pain. Food and drink was another issue here. The egg/pancake chef was great but the rest of the food was poor, chips cold and soggy, the meat tasteless and the snack bar was extremely poor. The barman at the pool snack bar was rude and couldn’t be bothered to help you. The AI cocktails were vile. Would not return to hotel but would return to Cala D’or as it’s a beautiful resort and lots of lovely hotels with staff who care.
Our stay
Ok. So the location is fab , not far to the beach and bars / Restaurants near by. The hotel is split into two parts with you having to cross a road if you are in the opposite site. The room is ok, simple but ok. Plenty of pools to choose from if you want to go somewhere quite.
The food for me is the biggest disappointment. There are several choices but on most occasions it's just warm and the quality is poor. I think the chef who makes the eggs in the mornings comes across abrupt. Maybe he should do the afternoon shift and not the mornings.
I would pick the hotel but go self catering if I was to pick again.
Oh you have to pay €1 for a cup as a deposit and also for a plastic plate for snacks, which is a bit odd.
I guess it does help with keeping tables clear and clean.

Great location, Dire food
Lovely location in centre of Cala d’or.
Sunbeds are old and certain staff were very rude.
Can’t complain about the room as was modern and cleaned daily.
Personally wouldn’t eat the food, flies in the yoghurt and medium rare chicken was a questionable sight.
Stay here self catering and eat in the local restaurants as they are far better quality!

Not the best.
Location is ok, hotel is split into 4 blocks the main pool is across the road which I found bizarre. The staff were friendly enough. Food was absolutely awful that goes for the snack bar too. Our room was 1117 the bathroom absolutely stunk like a men’s urinal even when the cleaner had been in it smelled so bad it really was gross.
We went all inclusive as there were 6 of us and we thought it’d save us a bit of money on food and drinks but we only ended up eating there on the first day because the food is that terrible and the drinks aren’t that much better.
On the whole the place is in dire need of a refurb, most of the sun loungers and umbrellas were broken. It’s quite grubby and for me I think basic cleanliness and basic food should be a minimum.
