Lots of theatrical nonsense reviews on here, so we'll keep this honest & to the point.

The Pros:

• The view of the sea is sensational.
• Pools are spotless
• Rooms are spotless
• Hotel in general is spotless
• Staff are very helpful (taxi booking, etc)
• If all inclusive, you won't be hungry or thirsty. If you are, it's your own fault.
• Premium area Balinese beds are super comfy.
• Staff coming around with some snacks on a plate during the day to the beds is a nice touch.
• Walking distance to a gorgeous beach.

The Cons:

• Entertainment each evening is quite average.
• Outside of the hotel, there's not too much to offer in terms of music, entertainment etc.
• Even though we upgraded to premium, the beds do not meet that standard. Two single beds pushed together is not what I'd expect in a premium room at a 4 star hotel.
• Although the hotel rules & signs state "no sunbed reserving", plenty of people do this. It's pretty annoying. Either the hotel enforces this policy, or don't bother with it at all.
• Some TLC is needed in shower areas in rooms (I.e grout on tiles etc). Small things, but it does claim to be four star premium.
• Regularly, the food is Luke warm, as opposed to piping hot.
• There are sweet treats (usually pancakes) and one or two days, apparently cos of weather, they were cooked only in the general area, as opposed to the premium area. Again, not a huge thing - but just put them on in both areas, or if because of weather, don't put them on at all.

We would return, for sure. That said, with some minor improvements it could be an excellent hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for a few days earlier this month. I'll state the positives first because there aren't many: if you're on a budget, this hotel may be worth your while. Personally, I now would have rather spent way more money and not had the experience we did. The views of the Balearic sea are stunning, but other than the view, there's not many positives to this hotel. The rooms are dated, and the air conditioning was barely functional. We ensured our balcony door was closed and while the hotel staff said they would send a technician, it never got cool. There were, inexplicably, small sugar ants throughout the room; in the beds, in the bathroom, on the desk, literally everywhere. We looked everywhere for food that previous guests may have left but couldn't find anything. Overall the room was clean but the presence of ants is inexcusable when you pay that much money for a room. The hotel has no soundproofing - you can hear guests coming and going at all hours of the night. God help you if you have a street-facing room (we were lucky enough to have a sea view). There are several bars and restaurants and the crowds are loud and rowdy. Don't plan to get much sleep while you're staying there. During our stay there was a large norovirus outbreak throughout the hotel. This is obviously a health and safety issue and the buffet continued every night as normal with no change in protocol, so guests who were sick were handling utensils and food at mealtimes and at snack times. The hotel staff confirmed that the doctor had been over to check on several guests but never offered to call them for my husband or myself. We checked out early and went back to Barcelona to recover because I couldn't imagine continuing to stay there with active health and safety concerns. The buffet and food options were underwhelming; if I wanted to eat cold cuts and pasta salad on holiday I could have easily just gone to the market and kept it in the fridge in our room.
