We stayed from the 10th June to the 20th.
Take no notice of the negative reviews about the lovely Calas Park.Lovely appt,fantastic views.The food was very good all round,a different meal every night.Nothing was cold to eat,the roast beef was excellent,pork chops were excellent,chicken the same etc etc.I had different fish to eat at dinner and evening meal sometimes.The salad section was lovely.The sweets and ice cream tasted beautiful. The staff in the restaurant were lovely and worked really hard.
The pool area looking over the sea was amazing.Also the staff around the pool always had a smile and could even remember your drink.We met some lovely people who had been to the same hotel numerous times .If you want to go to the beach which is also beautiful ,it's a nice 10-15 minute slow walk.
We will definitely be returning again in the near future.Thankyou Calas Park for a lovely holiday also to the staff aswel.

Cala Park de Mallorca.

Just home from 10 nights in HSM Calas Park hotel. We were very impressed with the hotel. It was very clean. Food was fine. Drinks, there were more than enough choices. I have to HIGHLY recommend Manu on the entertainment team he was fantastic!!! He was the and life and soul of the  place. He got everyone involved in aqua aerobics and put on a deadly show! Helped put on a great show for kids show. Always there with a smile and the to have fun!! Place would be lost without him!

Family Holiday

The staff here are all very friendly and helpful and the hotel is very clean and well kept and looked after. The small ponds with frogs and turtles make a nice feature. The setting is lovely with views across the sea and there’s a really nice beach nearby. The local area has lots of typical tourist shops, a few nice restaurants (can recommend ‘Taste’) and was fine if you just want a week in the sun by the pool and beach which we did - not much else to do otherwise. 
The food is pretty samey and there’s a lack of good meat choices some days - much of the meat is processed and clearly from frozen (having seen frozen chicken kebabs ready to be fried) Nice salad choices and always some pizza and pasta for the kids.  But it’s ok for a week and you get what you pay for. 
The stairs are annoying but again ok for a weeks stay if you’re able bodied. No snacks by the pool was a surprise but the restaurant is open all day, albeit with reheated food from the last meal. Chips etc. The plastic cups issue didn’t bother us. 
The main issue we had was the noisy music at night. We paid extra for a sea view but this was rewarded by not being able to sit on the balcony in the evening or get to sleep at night. The entertainment went on until past 11, sometimes later and was right outside our apartment. Not only that the volume was way too loud. If they actually stated this happened nobody would go. We did complain to be told ‘don’t worry it’s always off by midnight’ - not good for families. 
Overall fine for a cheap and cheerful trip away and we enjoyed our week but I wouldn’t return.

Not too bad for a cheaper week away

5 night stay in June 25 as a couple. The positives, rooms are really nice, quite modern, very clean and appear to have been refreshed not so long ago (we were in 222). We had a sea view room and it was well worth it for the view. Set on the cliff top with uninterrupted views over the med was stunning. The pool area overlooking the med was also stunning. The staff were all fantastic, friendly, professional and couldn’t do enough for you. Big shout out to Antonio behind the bar, great sense of humour and always a smile and great service. We met some fantastic people and had a great laugh with them. Sadly… There ends the positives… now for the negatives. Food in my opinion was dreadful, and it had its bad points too! We are not fussy eaters and did not have delusions of grandure expecting champagne service for lemonade money, we had expectations for a 3 star based on many other 3 star experiences. We had a grand total of 2 meals from our entire stay where we found food that was reasonable. Thereafter, the food choice and food quality was extremely poor and disappointing. The restaurant is at best a canteen. The decor is completely opposite to our modern room and we felt like we were back in the 70’s. The diffusers in the fluorescent lights in the restaurant were all filthy dirty which did not do much for hygiene reassurance. Our 1st breakfast we saw a man with a plate of chips and thought how odd… when we experienced the quality of the sausages, bacon etc., we then understood why he had a plate of chips! The plastic cup rule felt like we were in a kindergarten. Totally appreciate use plastic cups around the pool and reusable cups for consideration to the environment. But to issue 1 cup per person for the entire holiday to continually reuse and then have to pay €1 for another cup should you forget and accidentally leave it in your room (avoiding to climb what felt like the equivalent number of steps of Machu Picchu) was ridiculous. Have recycling stations where people can leave cups and get a fresh one washed correctly. The washing of your own cup consisted of a quick squirt with water. Now for the elephant in the room, steps / stairs. I counted 70 steps from pool level to lobby level. Restaurant is on lobby level (across the street) so if you are at the pool for lunch you have 70 steps up to negotiate to get to lobby level to then access the restaurant which involved another 8 steps! We were lucky as our room was situated directly off one of the flights of stairs from lobby to pool… but if you were not so lucky you may need to climb an additional 2 flights of steps to reach your room within its respective block. If you are not fit, or you are not capable to climb a significant number of steps, do not stay at this hotel. Entertainment, through the day the animation team do a good job with varied activities and all very engaging and very friendly. Evening entertainment was not top notch. One night live singers, that was the best night. Other nights mediocre at best. The comedy show put on by the animation team left me perplexed and honestly disgusted. They thought it hilarious to close the comedy show by drinking water into their mouth and then spit / spray it from their mouth over each other. They also “sprayed” some of the audience / children directly in front of the stage and then came out into the general seated audience to do the same. As one of the team approached I told them in no uncertain terms not to spit over me… that is not funny, simply disgusting. The surrounding area does have a small shopping area and some bars. Convenient for getting provisions, but once you’d done an hour you’ve done the entire complex. Some of the bars had entertainment, the general area looked quite tired and dated too. But beyond this there was not a lot else. Would we return, NO… paid less and had significantly better.

Disappointing - Will Not Return

Had a short break at HSM Calas Park. 
The rooms and hotel itself are kept very clean. The rooms have recently been modernised and have very comfortable beds. We had a few ant issues but easily resolved with spray. Cleaning each day with towel change if needed. 
Upon check in if you are all inclusive you are allocated a plastic cup - different sizes for adults and children. The same cup has to be used for the duration of the stay. The bar staff will rinse the cup out but there is no way to get it thoroughly washed unless you take washing up liquid which I didn’t (as didn’t realise this was the case with the cups). I found this to be an issue and not very hygienic. Also it made the drinks taste strange if you went from having wine or iced coffee to having water! The drinks choices themselves are good. 
There are no cups in the hotel room either to buy drinks to use in the room and no cutlery or crockery at all. 
The restaurant is a bit outdated and small. It was very busy due to the U.K. half term and the hotel wasn’t full. The food choices are limited and I found this difficult being a vegetarian. Also very limited for children. We ended up eating out 2 nights which was nice to experience some local restaurants. 
Snack times are also in the restaurant and not in the pool bar - so if you do want to eat inbetween meal times you have to be fully dressed and go up to the restaurant. We thought this was strange not having snacks in the pool bar area. 
No sun bed wars but again it wasn’t a full hotel so not sure what summer is like. 
There are a lot of steps from the rooms and to the pool then up to reception and the restaurant. This was fine for us apart from carrying suitcases alone! But I can imagine with pushchairs, small children or less able this would be difficult. I am unsure if it was wheelchair friendly as saw no ramps to get to the pool area. 
The staff work so hard, they are all very friendly and helpful. The bar staff seemed to work very long days without a day off, and the entertainment staff also work long hours. All with a smile all day for everyone.
The resort itself is nice, the hotel in a great location looking over the sea. We had a sea view room which was lovely.

Short break

The hotel is located in Calas de Mallorca, a small resort in the south east part of the island. Nearby are many beautiful beaches, with spectacular views, as well as small and authentic fishing villages, supplementing the benefits of this relatively unknown area with tourists, but most popular choice for everyday and holiday.The hotel offers a spacious terrace with amazing sea views. Welcoming public areas, salon games. The complex offers the facilities focused on children.
