Situated on a small peninsular and just a four-minute walk from the sea, this superbly located hotel offers panoramic views of the Mediterranean, as well as easy access to arguably the most well-known and stunning beach on the entire island of Majorca, Es Trenc. Offering a beautiful crescent of white sand, backed by trees and falling gently into a calm, turquoise sea, Playa Es Trenc offers a picture-postcard beach that could easily be mistaken for the Caribbean.
The quaint resort of Colonia de Sant Jordi or Port de Campos as it is sometimes referred to is a short 15 minute drive away and provides a wide range of top-class restaurants, laid-back bars and elegant boutiques, as well as a smattering of tiny coves, beaches and harbours.

Fantastic hotel and location
From start to finish this is an excellent hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Check in was excellent and we got our room well ahead of time. It was on the sixth floor with excellent countryside views. Room had everything we needed and was cleaned daily. We were bed and breakfast and I have to say it had everything even for those among us who like vegetables for breakfast. Pool area great and very helpful lifeguards. Short walk takes you into the port which is lovely. Views from hotel pool and terrace exceptional. So good we booked for next year within 24 hours of leaving. Thank you to all your team at this hotel.

Hotel Romantica
Excellent hotel. Very pleasant, welcoming, professional staff throughout the establishment. Food was excellent. Everywhere was clean and well-kept.

The Universal Hotel Romantica is situated in a quieter area of Majorca and caters for singles, couples and families. The all inclusive option was excellent value for money. The food was help yourself buffet with an outstanding variety, set in a lovely restaurant overlooking the sea. (Special mention to Judith, Johana and Mohamed). Both Sky Bar and Pool/Restaurant bars were brilliant with excellent selection of drinks including cocktails. (Big shout out to Matias, Jamie (pronounced Hymie), Margarita, Jacqueline, Redu and not forgetting the main man behind the bar - Jose Carlos). Our superior suite with sea view was lovely and kept spotlessly clean on a daily basis by our cleaning ladies. It was well worth paying the extra few pounds for the better room. The reception staff immediately resolved our low water pressure problem in the shower. My wife and I had a great holiday and we will return. 5 stars all around.
Good value hotel
Good value hotel in a reasonable location if you don’t have mobility issues. 20-25 minute walk to the harbour which has lots of restaurants right on the waters edge, but nearer restaurants on the main strip are 10 mins walk. If you want to swim in the sea, it’s down vertical steps, ok if you’re a confident swimmer. Sea was gloriously warm in September. Very good variety buffet for Breakfast & dinner, but if you ate there every night it might be a bit repetitive. We enjoyed the live music each night 8pm-10pm
A lovely hotel
We stayed here as a family of 7 and had a lovely time. The reception team are so friendly and helpful, Joel checked us in and gave us lots of information about the local area and made us feel very welcome. The food was really good, lots of choice, we went half board. Tables could be cleared more frequently, but on the whole a good experience. The bar staff are friendly and work hard, at times we were waiting a while for drinks, but this is probably because they need more staff and not because they were not working hard enough. The roof top bar was lovely and the entertainment was mostly really good. Chaymae who works up her is lovely, works so hard and is a credit to the hotel. We would say that the only thing that lets the hotel down is the pool area. The pool is no where near big enough for the amount of guests. It was impossible to go in and swim lengths etc due to the amount of people in it. Also there were lots of sun-beds that were broken and needed replacing. On the whole, this hotel is very good, it’s exceptionally clean and the staff are working very hard to achieve these results.
