Florida Magaluf

Absolutely gorgeous hotel! 4 of us stayed here for 3 nights in September and has a lovely time. Check in was easy, 1 room was ready early so we dumped all the bags, gor changed and headed to the pool. Rooms were spacious and clean. All the staff were so friendly, especially those in the pool bar. The views are breathtaking and we never had an issue getting a lounger. Breakfast was good and food purchased round the pool was also good and reasonably priced. We headed into magaluf each night so location was ideal although it was a trek making it back up the hill at night! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and I would certainly return.

I booked a 3-night stay at Hotel Florida Magaluf expecting a standard 4-star experience, but my stay was entirely ruined by basic operational failures. The shower water temperature in my room was completely broken, constantly alternating between freezing cold and scalding hot. Our friends who were checked in next door encountered the same issue. I reported this on my second day, and followed up again on my third day because nothing had been fixed. The hotel's "solution" on the final day was to hand me the keys to a courtesy shower room on a completely different floor. I had to walk from the 8th floor down to the 4th floor—and back up—through public hotel areas dressed only in my bathrobe. It was humiliating and completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming 4 stars. To make matters worse, the maid heavily sprayed the room and the sofa cushions with an awful, choking room perfume that made the air quality terrible and the sofa unusable. A functional shower and a clean, comfortable environment are bare minimum requirements. For a 4-star hotel to treat guests this way and offer floor-trekking in a bathrobe as a fix is appalling management. I have submitted a formal request for a partial refund.
