The hotel has one major advantage: the view from the restaurant and pool area over Magaluf beach is absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, almost everything else about my stay was disappointing.

The hotel is located in an extremely difficult area for parking, and the noise from the surrounding bars is a serious problem. The noise can be heard clearly inside the rooms, even with the windows closed, making it very difficult to sleep and relax.

The beach access is another major issue. The elevator providing access to the beach was out of order during our entire stay, meaning that guests of all ages had to walk down and then climb back up more than 70 steps simply to access the beach. This is particularly problematic for elderly guests or anyone with reduced mobility.

The Wi-Fi was also extremely poor. In our room, located near the stairs, there was absolutely no Wi-Fi signal. This meant that we could not even properly use a smartphone with the hotel's internet connection. In the areas where Wi-Fi was available, the speed was limited to around 10 Mbps, and some services appeared to be restricted for no clear reason, including IPTV-related access. For a hotel of this category, this is simply not acceptable.

I was also very disappointed with the housekeeping. I had no evidence that the bed sheets were changed during my stay. At one point, I accidentally stained one of the sheets with blood, and that same sheet remained on the bed until the end of my stay. This was particularly concerning from a hygiene and housekeeping perspective.

The restaurant was mediocre, with limited variety. We were staying on a half-board basis, yet all drinks had to be paid for separately. I have stayed in three-star hotels where at least water was included with half-board, so this felt particularly poor considering that this hotel presents itself as a four-star property.

There was also a significant insect problem around the pool area. We encountered ants and cockroaches, and this was not a case of seeing one or two insects by chance — there were quite a few of them.

On a positive note, the staff were genuinely phenomenal. They were friendly, polite and always willing to help. Their attitude was one of the few things that consistently made a positive impression during our stay.

However, the staff's excellent service cannot compensate for the overall experience. This hotel is advertised as a four-star property, but based on my experience, I have stayed in several three-star hotels that were clearly superior in terms of facilities, maintenance, cleanliness, comfort and value for money.

This was honestly one of my worst hotel experiences, and unfortunately, it was also one of the most expensive. I left with a strong feeling that I had made a very poor investment with my money.

I would not stay at this hotel again, nor would I choose another property from this chain. The beautiful sea view is impressive, but it does not justify the price or compensate for the numerous problems we experienced during our stay.

⭐ Disappointing Experience – Wouldn’t Stay Again

Our 4-night stay at this adults-only hotel was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, there were far more negatives than positives.

The beds were absolutely awful. The mattress was rock hard, making it incredibly uncomfortable to sleep. We were also told that the hotel was out of normal rooms, so we had the option of either a twin room or upgrading to a double room for an additional £10 per night. We looked at both rooms, and they were essentially identical, with the only noticeable difference being the beds. We had already paid for our accommodation, so having to pay extra for a double bed felt completely unreasonable.

The lift down to the beach was broken for our entire 4-day stay, which was incredibly inconvenient.

You also have to pay £10 to rent a kettle, which is ridiculous. Something as basic as making a cup of tea shouldn’t come at an additional cost when you’re already paying to stay at a hotel.

The pool area was another major disappointment. For an adults-only hotel, it felt more like boot camp than a relaxing holiday. We were constantly being told off for little things, including splashing, even when we weren’t doing anything unreasonable. You’re not allowed to jump into the pool, which seems excessive. I can understand banning diving for safety reasons, but simply jumping in to enter the pool, rather than repeatedly jumping in and out, seems ridiculous.

There was also a no-smoking and no-vaping policy around the pool, but no designated area provided for vaping. We kept getting told off without being given a practical alternative.

And then there were the ants—absolutely everywhere around the pool area. It genuinely felt infested and made sitting around the pool unpleasant.

Overall, the hotel felt like it was constantly looking for ways to charge extra money while providing a disappointing experience. Between the uncomfortable beds, unnecessary upgrade charges, broken beach lift, expensive kettle rental, strict pool rules and ants everywhere, this was not the relaxing adults-only holiday we had hoped for.

Unfortunately, we wouldn’t recommend this hotel and wouldn’t choose to stay here again. Definitely not worth the money we paid.
