General view

Great staff, great service, rally nice room and a breakfast buffet to die for. Iof I ever come back to Palma, this is where I am staying.

Palma

We were very pleased with our choice of hotel. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful - special mention for Gemma who waited on at breakfast and did the bar in the evening. Breakfast was delicious with a wide choice and the option of ordering cooked dishes. Restaurants are very close with many to choose from particularly on Carrer de la Fabbrica. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Perfect for Palma

I didn't stay at the hotel, but my experience with it was DISAPPOINTING. 

I made "no-cancellation" reservations at three hotels and a car rental agency; then the war between Iran and Israel erupted; all air travel in Israel was suspended, and I couldn't leave for my trip to Spain.

Despite the "no-cancellation" status, the agency and the other two hotels went beyond their legal right to charge me, and in a VERY gracious manner agreed to cancel the reservations without any payment!

This attitude shows they don't regard their clients as cash machines, and that for them - human thought & feeling is more important than revenues.

Bordoy Continental Palma preferred to take the cold procedural way, factually noting there are no exceptions to "no-cancellation".

Per the title of this review, this attitude is both totally legal and pure greed. It also shows that for this hotel, its guests are first and foremost cash machines.

War and Legal Greed

Super friendly, excellent location for easy access to main city attractions. Breakfast was great, everything you could want, and hot food cooked to order. Rooms made over every day, basic shower gel etc supplied.  Clean, and well maintained. Enormous bed.  Surprised by complimentary wine as we travelled on my birthday - the check in staff spotted it was my birthday on our arrival. small gesture but it made my day.  Definitely value for money.

Friendly and beyond

Super friendly, smart city hotel, great location for the popular sites, marina and old town easy walks, excellent breakfast , huge rooms cleaned daily. We travelled on my birthday and was surprised with complimentary wine. Nice touch. I'd go again
