Bordoy Continental Palma

We stayed in the Bordoy Continental for 5 nights in early September. The hotel is nicely situated in the Santa Catalina district and only a 10-15 minute walk from the main attractions of Palma. Check in was friendly, welcoming and efficient with all relevant information given to us. Although we arrived earlier than the check in time our room was ready. We had a deluxe double on the 2nd floor and it was a fabulous room. The bed was really big and extremely comfortable. Plenty of wardrobe space and hangers. And the bathroom was huge with lovely toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. The air conditioning was very efficient and we were so glad of it as Palma was very hot for the time of year! The breakfast, which was included in our Jet2 package, was superb. As well as the usual cereals, yogurts, fruit, cold meats, cheeses and pastries there was an a la carte menu with hot dishes cooked to order. The eggs benedict was yummy. The decor in the hotel was lovely too and there is a nice bar area. We didn't use the gym or sauna/jacuzzi facilities as the weather was so hot outside. Check out was at 11am and we were not leaving for the airport until 5.30pm but we were told that we could leave our luggage and also that we could use the spa to have showers before heading to the airport (towels available at the reception). This is the first time we have stayed in a hotel that has offered this facility to us without us having to ask. First class service. Special mention goes to Gema who was delightful both in the bar and when she was on breakfast duty. A lovely lady. I highly recommend this hotel. We had a wonderful stay.

Bordoy Continental is an excellent hotel located within easy walking distance to the Cathedral and old town. There are plenty of restaurants avout 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Our room was spacious as was the bathroom whitch had both a fulk sized shower and bath. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is parking available with direct lift access to the hotel.
