This elegant hotel enjoys a privileged location in the heart of the Paseo Marítimo seafront promenade of Palma. All of the rooms have furnished balconies, and the majority boasts extraordinary panoramic views over the marina, the cathedral, the Bay of Palma and out to the open sea. Business guests will appreciate the spacious conference facilities as well as the fully equipped business centre, while holidaymakers will love the fantastic outdoor pool with sun terrace, the pool bar, a fully equipped mini gym as well as the restaurant, combining regional and international cuisine with stunning views. The Pueblo Español Congress Centre is just a short stroll away and numerous bars and nightclubs are in the hotel's vicinity. Major sites such as the Bellver Castle, the cathedral and the historic old town are within walking distance.
Suited us for a long weekend. The pool was very welcome and the hotel clean and convenient for the Old Town, Marina, Cathedral, city etc. A very short taxi to and from the airport too, just ten minutes.
Couple of complaints, do not get a standard room, they all seem to have steps running from the main promenade up to the city running alongside the bedrooms. You are woken up all night long by groups of revellers of all nationalities going back home loudly shouting within inches of your window. Check in was sooooo slow. Other than that, a decent place.
Helpful staff especially Ian on reception. Clean, well presented hotel. Comfortable rooms and beds. Good location and views over the sea. We had no trouble with noise, it was peaceful. Free water bottles each day when room was cleaned. Spacious balconies, great air conditioning. Only downside is they need more sun loungers at the pool - remove some of the high tables and couches for sun loungers. Good free WiFi.
14 floors with one working lift. Service lift not available to help with heavy bags. Packed pool with no service and not enough beds. Undermanned reception. Unresponsive staff. Worst hotel we’ve been to for years. You’d be mad to book. We’ll never be back and will avoid this chain.
Not a 4 star hotel by any standard. Bedroom Dirty floor Holes in net curtains Damaged lamp shades Stained and chipped furniture Small insects and cocroaches around fridge No bathrobes No coffee machines Dirty balcony Reception staff very rude Check in is terrible even if you Check in online Reception area smells of damp No English TV or news channels Whole hotel feels cheap, tired and dirty Over priced Would not recommend. Melia group you need to up your game.
Stayed here for a couple of nights to explore Palma. First impressions of hotel weren’t great- took over 45mins to check in, with staff who didn’t give good first impression and seemed uninterested. Then to be given a double room, had booked a twin. This was sorted after another lengthy wait. Room wasn’t cleaned for duration of stay, despite having sign in door since 9am, asked at reception- where we were told house keeping work until 9pm- wouldn’t want to have been there with a young family and having my room cleaned and beds made at 9pm. It was never cleaned Staff lack interest especially at Breakfast and restaurant. Many too busy having conversations with each other to assist guests. Breakfast poor - very reduced selection on 2nd morning of our stay, with “hot” food being cold. Fruit- well there was brown pineapple and melon. View from room was lovely, but this hotel is let down by all of above. We’ll come back to Palma but not to this hotel.
