Great medium size hotel with good amenities within and in the surrounding areas
We had a room with a balcony that you could see the sea and that was at the end of the hotel, so a good spot. The room and balcony were of a good size and were very clean and tidy. The room was a tiny bit tired in places but nothing that a bit of fresh silicone and paint couldn't fix. The hotel was in a great spot to go and explore several coves and the marina, and the local beach to the hotel is within a stones throw so that was great. We took a local bus to Palma too which was really cheap and easy to do and only took 15mins. The breakfast had a great selection all of which was fresh and delicious, and with fresh waffles or omelettes made before you. The staff at dinner were so lovely, especially Enrique, who we talked to a lot and was so sweet, he helped me with learning a little Spanish and how to pronounce things. We'll definitely be back, thank you for a lovely stay

Close to a lovely cove. Quiet hotel. Spotlessly clean. Great breakfast. Helpful staff. Great base for exploring Portals nous and Palma. Only 25 min from airport.

Not returning
Disappointing stay despite a beautiful hotel
We were looking forward to our stay at Tacande Portals Wellness & Relax, but unfortunately there were several things that really affected our experience.
On arrival, we had to wait quite a while to check in. It was midnight and we were exhausted after our journey, so this was not the best start. Thankfully, the rest of the reception team were very helpful, friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
The biggest disappointment was the bedroom and bathroom design. The room itself was OK, but the glass panel between the bathroom and bedroom is a terrible idea. When the toilet is flushed, the bathroom lights up and the light shines straight into the bedroom, waking up anyone sleeping. Using the bathroom during the night meant disturbing my husband every time, and there was very little privacy. For a hotel aiming to provide relaxation, this design is simply not practical.
Breakfast was also disappointing. The food was OK, but the cleaning and clearing operation taking place right in the middle of the breakfast area was very intrusive. There was constant banging and noise while guests were trying to enjoy a peaceful breakfast — not the relaxing experience you would expect.
The hotel itself is modern and attractive, and some staff members were excellent, but these issues really let the stay down. Small changes to the room design and breakfast service would make a huge difference.

Relaxing stay
Great location & lovely and quiet. Food at breakfast very good with selection & quality. Staff all lovely and not changed over the past 2-3 years we’ve visited. Not over crowded as there are 3 different pool areas - 1 being for gold level with Bali beds. Pool bar is brilliant with the attention from staff - outstanding at all times.
