The newly refurbished Tomir Portals Suites is conveniently situated in the centre of Portals Nous, overlooking the beach of Costa d'en Blanes and the Mediterranean Sea. A number of shops, restaurants and bars can be found in the surrounding area, and the sandy beach is also only steps away. The fashionable marina of Puerto Portals with its luxury designer shops and upscale restaurants is within a short stroll. The popular hotel offers renovated rooms and Suites, sleeping up to 4 persons. They are comfortably furnished and features include air-conditioning, wireless internet access, satellite TV and a private bathroom. Additional services and amenities include an outdoor pool with a designated children's area, surrounded by a terrace with sun loungers, a la carte restaurant and a lounge bar. A perfect place for families and groups of friends for a nice holiday under the Mediterranean sun.

A wonderful stay
Been staying at this lovely hotel for 10 nights, and sadly have to leave tomorrow. First it’s in a great location. And close to everything. And now about the hotel. Staff are fantastic here, from Eric and Joanna on reception to Frank in the bar and at breakfast. Great staff always happy and nothing too much trouble. The rooms are a good size if a bit sparse and could with a few more drawers, but apart from that good night sleep and nothing negative apart from that. We had breakfast every morning. The choice was fantastic and something for all tastes. Coffee lovely and hot, and egg and omelette station is always nicely cooked with again happy staff. Pool a lovely size no problems getting sun beds. Roof top bar is a great expedience,the night we went up they had a DJ but as we are in our early 60 the choice of music played was for every age, even had a dance which is nice to have on holiday. Please don’t listen to the negative reviews. Yes people can get a little bit noisy but we didn’t have a problem for the whole time we have been here. It’s people just enjoying their well earned trip. Will definitely be back next year, Thanks Tomir Porals suits.

Nice hotel but not our scene.
Just back from 10 nights at Tomir Portals Suites in mid-September 2026. We are a married lesbian couple.
What we loved:
The staff. Without exception, they were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, and requests were dealt with quickly. We were treated exactly like any other couple - which shouldn’t need mentioning, but we still notice and appreciate it.
The pool. A proper-sized pool where you can actually swim lengths and get some exercise! Always clean and fresh, with water fountains that double as great massagers.
The ground floor and foyer. You really feel like you’re arriving at a special hotel.
The pool bar/restaurant. Excellent, friendly service - we never waited more than a minute. The Pizza Portobello was possibly the best pizza I’ve ever had! The club sandwich, however, was disappointing, although there was no charge when I mentioned it, which was appreciated.
Sunbeds. No 7am dash required. Plenty of beds and parasols throughout our stay.
The rooftop bar. A fabulous space with great views. It’s a shame it isn’t open every night, but it's definitely worth visiting when it is.
What we didn’t love:
These are things that may not bother everyone, but I wish I’d known about them before booking.
Noise. There were lots of groups of women on girls’ trips during our stay. Nothing wrong with that whatsoever, but some were extremely loud and seemed completely unaware of how intrusive it could be for others trying to relax around the pool. It was amusing for the first couple of days but became wearing. Definitely not our vibe.
Our room. We were on the 5th floor, which was clean and well maintained by housekeeping, with beds made daily, but the room itself was definitely in need of refurbishment. From other reviews, it seems the higher floors may already have been refurbished, so hopefully more work is planned over the winter.
The balconies. This is probably the biggest disappointment. Rooms are sold as having a sea view, and technically they do - if you stand in one particular corner of the balcony. However, sitting in either chair, the view is almost entirely of the unattractive buildings across the road. Most rooms have two very small balconies, and ours faced west, meaning they became unbearably hot in the afternoon and evening. We therefore rarely used them, despite normally loving sitting on a balcony on holiday.
Overall: The wonderful staff, pool and public areas make Tomir a very pleasant hotel, but the noise, room condition, and particularly the tiny, impractical balconies mean we probably wouldn’t return. A little more honesty around what the “sea view” actually looks like from the balcony would also be helpful.

Lovely hotel, fantastic staff. Great pool area. Great bar. Portals Nous was a little bit too Marbella in Mallorca for me personally, so for that reason,its probably not somewhere I'd return but thats no reflection on the hotel,that I couldnt fault. Breakfast every morning plentiful, not too busy if youre down by 9 and the hotels friendly manager walking round greeting the guests every day. A nice touch. Amazing
We had a wonderful time here with our two little ones before it became an adults-only hotel. It was such a joy to return after a number of years and see Carmen and some of the same staff who made our summers so special. The location is perfect, the rooms are gorgeous, the food and service were all five-star and great value. See you guys next year !

Perfect hotel to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday
We chose Tomir Portals Suites largely because of the excellent reviews from previous guests, and having now stayed here ourselves, I can completely understand why it is so highly rated.
We were visiting to celebrate my wife Lisa’s 60th birthday, so I emailed the hotel before we arrived just to mention that it was a special trip for us. They couldn’t have been more accommodating. We were very kindly upgraded to a room with a better terrace and there was also a bottle of bubbly waiting for us, which was a lovely touch and a great start to our holiday.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were fantastic. From the hotel manager and, I believe, his wife, right through to the reception, bar and cleaning staff, everyone we came across was friendly, courteous and genuinely helpful. The whole hotel was also absolutely immaculate throughout.
Tomir is a boutique-style hotel and is on the smaller side, but that was actually one of the reasons we chose it. We didn’t want a huge, busy resort hotel and much preferred the more relaxed and personal atmosphere here.
We stayed on a B&B basis and the breakfast was excellent. Everything was fresh and good quality, with plenty of choice and as much as you wanted. There was a traditional cooked breakfast alongside fresh fruit, pastries, breads, cheeses, salads and plenty of other options, so there really was something for everyone. Even the coffee was decent, which isn’t always the case with hotel breakfasts!
The pool bar served all the usual drinks and you could pay by card, which I personally prefer rather than constantly charging things to the room — it’s far too easy to get carried away otherwise! 😂
There is also a lovely rooftop bar which became a great place for us to finish off the evening with a drink. Food was available at very reasonable prices too.
If I had to mention one small negative, it would be the amount of sun around the pool during the morning. Only around a quarter of the sunbed area seemed to get direct sunshine until roughly midday. However, this is obviously down to the position and design of the building and isn’t something the hotel can really control, so I certainly wouldn’t mark them down for it.
The location is another huge plus. Puerto Portals marina is virtually on the doorstep, with some fantastic restaurants and bars catering for all tastes and budgets. Getting around is also very easy, and reception are more than happy to arrange taxis whenever required.
Most importantly, the hotel helped make Lisa’s 60th birthday trip feel genuinely special. We came here with high expectations because of the reviews we had read beforehand, and those expectations were absolutely met.
A fabulous hotel, fantastic staff, great breakfast and a brilliant location. We would happily stay here again and would have no hesitation recommending Tomir Portals Suites to others.
