This holiday hotel with its delightful garden is excellently situated frontline to the fishing port and bay of Sóller in Majorca, enjoying fantastic views. A variety of restaurants, bars and cafés is in the vicinity and the centre of the town of Sóller can be easily reached with the historic streetcar. The city of Palma is 25 km away and is connected with Sóller through a historic train, the “Red Flash”. Guests can enjoy a sunny day resting by the side of the pool or having a splash in it. The property offers delicious local dishes that please all types of tastes. The classy rooms follow the decoration of the whole complex, light warm tones and wooden furniture create a cosy atmosphere and make travellers feel welcomed. Room for improvement
It was my intention to write a detailed review but i think the contribution of;

is quite a fair reflection of our experience, the hotel, staff, wifi, value for money and hospitality. We where bed and breakfast not half board.
We didnt enjoy the breakfast experience either for the reasons stated in the above review.
One specific point is that the breakfast lounge doesnt have any external areas to sit out. One morning we decided to take our coffees outside to relax and enjoy our surroundings. An angry member of the breakfast staff approached us, spoke to us in Spanish, with a raised voice, picked up our coffees and walked away with them. We didnt even speak. This was completely unnecessary and rude, bearing in mind we had paid for these coffees. It was very embarrassing as it occurred in front of others guests. Not sure what our crime was?.
Unfriendly staff ruin otherwise lovely stay
The staff on check in, at the bar, the rooftop and pool, were lovely, friendly and kind. I can't overstate how rude the dinner and breakfast staff were. They looked miserable to be working there, horrified to be serving people and about as eager to make conversation as they were to be working. The dining experience as a result was unenjoyable, and let the hotel down. It did impact our stay, as we chose to eat out most nights rather than be grunted at in the dining hall. The hotel itself is lovely, unbeatable views, comfy sunbeds and loungers, great drinks and excellent location to the sea. The rooms are a little run down and scruffy but it didnt bother us as they were clean. Wifi in our room didnt work, tv didnt work. Again, didnt bother us as we werent in the room much, but might annoy another. All in all,I dont believe the cost of the rooms/hotel, fairly reflects the standard of the hotel and the experience you receive. I was expecting a lot more in terms of hospitality considering the high price. We did enjoy our stay, however, we most likely will not be back and will instead look to book one of the othwr hotels on the street.

We paid around £500 a night in August for a Superior Sea View room. The bathroom in the listing photos is modern and freshly done. Ours was not that bathroom. The ceiling above the shower was bubbling and had been patch repaired, there was thick limescale on all the fittings, the plug hole was rusty and the bath was so stained we didn't want to wash our kids in it. There was also a smell of mould that came back every time we ran the sink tap, so something is wrong with the drains. If you scroll back through older reviews you'll see other guests mention the same smell, so the hotel knows.
When we asked, the manager told us our room and the one in the photos are the same category, the photographed one has just been renovated more recently. So they advertise the nice version and put you in the old one at the same price, and nowhere do they tell you. Fine, but then don't sell rooms in this state at full peak rates in the meantime.
The rest of the room was tired too. Cracked skirting, grime worked into the fittings, the minibar had no door at all, one pillow each and no spares, no robes. We had house cleaning burst in without knocking first...
Then the noise. Between 8 and 11pm loud music and heavy bass from the venue next door came straight into our sea facing room, with two children trying to sleep. Reception first said nothing could be done, then admitted the venue is licensed until midnight and offered to call the police. Their own website says quiet and deep peace. It is not. This a hotel that exists only due to its location.
The staff were friendly enough - Mimi, Lola... thankyou... breakfast was a basic buffet, coffee not drinkable - I would recommend avoid the breakfast, go somewhere along the strip... the location is beautiful. But that is not what £500 a night was for. We made a formal complaint during our stay. [At the time of writing nothing has been offered.]
Perfect location hotel
I booked the hotel for its location, right in the sea front in Puerto de Soller. Great restaurants and bars nearby as well as small grocery shops and a few bakery’s. I booked a sea front superior room, amazing view and room was 4* apart from the shower tray which needs an update, but still a good pressure shower. Booked half board and ate out some times in the evening for a change but hotel food was good. Good range and quality. Was cheap to add half board rather than just B&B. Hotel and room was extremely clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bar staff were super friendly! Can’t beat the view of the rooftop bar! Amazing sunsets! The pool is lovely, but don’t go thinking you can easily get a sunbed as there are not as many as people in the hotel, but why would you when there is a stunning beach in front of the hotel! I was embarrassed one morning, eating breakfast and saw people run to put towels on beds when the cleaners had finished! A great hotel, staff speak various languages, in a great location.
