A stunning hotel with exceptional service
We had such a wonderful stay at Bahía del Duque. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly well looked after. Everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive and genuinely helpful, and all the little touches around our luggage, check-in and departure made the whole experience feel very special.
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. Everywhere you look feels thoughtfully designed, immaculately kept and incredibly picturesque, with so many lovely little seating areas and details throughout the grounds. It really feels like a lot of care has gone into creating the whole experience.
Even after checking out, the service was excellent. We were able to enjoy the pool before leaving for the airport and were then given a room to freshen up and get changed, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend Bahía del Duque. The setting is beautiful, but the staff and level of service were what really made it stand out for us.

Disappointing stay
We are currently on a 5 night stay at the Bahia del de Duque.
This has been a lovely hotel in its day . However that day has gone …
We arrived to our room which is ok . However an offensive smell is outside our room . We have reported it and it has been attended to . The smell is returning.
Housekeeping is not quite up to scratch . Although Staff are all very pleasant.
Food is ok . We have the choice of 4 restaurants. Only 3 are open at one time and we can only choose certain things from our half board . Everything else has a supplement Which is very disappointing for the price we paid.
This hotel is not suitable for young children . There are a lot of trip hazards and very large , open , steep staircases .
There seems to be some work going on at the hotel in a few different areas which we were not informed about on booking . Pressure washing . Areas closed . Etc .
Overall I think this hotel is very overpriced and in need of some desperate t l c . Would I return? No Would recommend it ? No

Amazing Hotel!
Fabulous hotel with very attentive and friendly staff. Beautiful surroundings around the hotel. Food and presentation amazing in all restaurants.

Great service and a great place to be
This is our second time back at this wonderful hotel/Villas. Like our last visit we stayed in the hotel first then moved over to the Villas. It’s been great once again, the staff were amazing at the hotel. Once we moved to the Villas it went up another notch. The villas is a special place and we have decided to continue staying there only from next year. Laura the waitress that worked all the mornings and lunch was fantastic and looked after us extremely well. We will see you again real soon thank you.

Would go again
It was about 15-20 mins drive from the airport south. Welcome by the staff who were all lovely and friendly. Only thing its only bed & breakfast. Had 2 year old so wanted half board which they do not do. You have to book table in advance for dinner, and they have various restaurants on the resorts. Rooms were very cleaned and done each day. Beach at the bottom of the hotel, black sand beach and water was ruff.
