This hotel is located on the promenade of San Eugenio, just steps from Playa del Bobo beach. There are a lot of shops and entertainment venues just minutes away, as well as public transport links nearby. Puerto de Colón is located nearby, where guests can enjoy boating and fishing trips. New Star Prestige area with personalized service, facilities and comfortable rooms. This is a great hotel for families with children as it counts with useful services and facilities specially designed for the little ones, such as a new Star Camp area and several fantastic swimming pools with sunbeds for adults to sunbathe or enjoy a moment of relaxation. Guest rooms are luminous and offer a fresh and modern style to guarantee a memorable stay.
The dress code to access the main restaurant consists of formal clothes for gentlemen, such as long pants during dinners.

Great for family’s with young children
We have just returned from our 11 night stay (with a 2 year old) and we can honestly say we had a wonderful time. We found it was the right amount of adult luxury with continuous thought of children the entire time.
There were countless things that made this holiday for us. I’ll just name a few- rocking horses in one of their bar areas, coming round at the dinner table with after dinner drinks, little snacks being laid out ready for evening entertainment along with plastic cups and sweets for children, endless extra ‘stalls’ in the dining room that changed regularly such as pancakes in many different shapes, ice coffee, icing cupcakes.
The staff were lovely and nothing was too much to ask, and they ALL really did make an effort with my son.
The hotel was clean and the rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed daily, the food was excellent, the facilities in the hotel were great.
The only very small thing that I found disappointing was the snack bar, a couple of times my son napped through lunch and we needed to feed him outside the restaurant times hence why we used the snack bar; But it was only able to provide pizza or burgers or left over breakfast bits. It would be good if they could do more snack items like veggie sticks and dips, crisps, bread and meats/cheese. I just felt they were offering unhealthy snack options.
Large Pool needs attention for a 4 star
A bit disappointed… the large pool needs some attention, mentioned to reception staff about state of main pool, missing mosaic tiles and general state of grout (black mould) . Pool guy cleans every morning above and just under water level with spray and brush’s then wipes floor attachment to pick up anything, Same happened the other year, showed photos to reception and next day manager out and staff with hard bristle brushes got to work. . Other than pool … staff excellent, food excellent housekeeping in room fantastic. Everywhere else great. Lifts still shockingly slow mind you. We come a few times a year and Thought long and hard about submitting this review.

Lovely hotel in wrong location
Pros lovely hotel overlooking the sea clean friendly staff food good plenty for all tastes excellent chocolate fountain and fresh crêpes plenty of sun lounges no queuing for loungers animation team excellent the show the greatest showman excellent brilliant Lovely pools and pool bar if AI snack bar has a ice cream machine just like a Mr whippy Lovely hotel but let down by the resort down to beach Cons location to do down to beach is all down hill but coming back to hotel was like cardiac hill not good for anyone with walking or breathing issues but of resort down to beach shabby neglected

Hotel needs renovating
Just come back from a 2 week family holiday. A few things that need addressing in this hotel. The first is the main pool were the pyramid is. It has a lot of tiles missing and is very dirty. There were black bits floating in the pool and clumps of hair floating around also. The next is the rooms need updating they are very dated and the furniture is very old. Also the lifts were not good when some of them were off. It took ages to get to the floors you wanted to go to and I am bad on my legs so could not use the stairs. Although the staff were around the pool everyday cleaning this it was still not enough. The whole place needs renovating. The food we could not fault as there was plenty to eat, although we went all inclusive we still ate out a few times. The staff were very helpful and were very nice and the entertainment team were brilliant with my granddaughter so cannot fault this. The amount of people at the hotel the time we were there this hotel needs updating. I will not return to this hotel until it has been renovated.

Happiest of times
The expectations we had for the hotel are far greater than we expected,check in and checkout 10/10,cleaning rooms and hotel and grounds 10/10,friendliness of all staff 10/10,a special thanks to Arturo who made wonderful drinks in the evening and all the staff who worked the bars,the restaurants were spotless,food good and waiter’s excellent,joined in a few events which I never do but thanks to Victor and Bryan for their light hearted support,the only thing I’d criticise would be the air conditioning which may be a Spanish law issue and I think the lighting in the bathroom could be brighter,would I return YES.
