Great holiday
We had a great holiday at Hovima suites. Lovely accommodation and food. We went half board but changed our evening meal to lunch so we could eat out in Adeje each night. Staff were lovely especially Jonny. He went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and make sure they were enjoying their holiday.
Hovima fun
The location is amazing right by the the beach easy to get to. Atmosphere is very lively and very friendly Rooms are very clean and have a lot of space The value was decent but definitely worth it. Noise not so good for little children however it shuts of at a decent time for people and brings people together. The service here is exceptional. Jonny one of the workers here is so friendly and so pleasant to everyone. Whoever he speaks to ends up with a smile on their face. All the entertainment and food and pools are great. Overall this place is amazing it's a nice family friendly place.. would totally recommend it. :)
Good hotel
Good hotel, all staff are lovely and attentive but hotel overall needs some work. We had holes/marks in our doors which looked like previous guests had hit and what I assume was a hole in the bathroom doorframe was filled with toilet roll, not really 4*. I stayed here based on other reviews mentioning their gluten free section and thought there would be lots of choice for me as a coeliac - there was not!! While there is gluten free bread for each meal, majority of the prepared food has gluten as an allergy symbol and other than salad, I was left with very little choice most meals so do not recommend for anyone gluten free.
Varied experience
We went as a family of 11!! Rooms were nice, spacious but need a little work, tiles in bathroom were taped down in places. Food and service can’t be faulted, staff were great. Jonathan at the bar needs a special shout out. Roof bar was gorgeous but cocktails have a cost there. Free gym was very quiet . Entertainment team were fab with the kids. Disappointment at the end was no guaranteed courtesy room. Considering what we paid it was poor not to have this for the last day. 12PM checkout for an evening flight was not ideal with 5 kids including a baby in tow. Functional family hotel but small improvements could be made. Hard to rate this as some parts were great but let down by others
