Family fun
Our second family holiday to Sunwing Fanabe and this time we went all inclusive, which was a great choice and great value. The hotel offers everything a family could want - we had a suite which was perfect for four people and kept very clean, as is the rest of the hotel. Food was always good throughout the day and plentiful, also it was nice to see much of it being cooked fresh. The entertainment is great for kids, with Lollo and Bernie making regular appearances and the team that manage this and many of the kids events and evening shows are great fun. Having the smaller pools for kids works well. Location is good for the beach and shops but we rarely left as there was so much readily available without having to go out. All staff were friendly but special mentions for Mattius on reception, Judith on housekeeping and all of the entertainment team who were lovely.

Amazing family hotel
This is a Beautiful hotel, the staff were great. Rooms were spacious and look exactly like the pictures. Honestly did not want to come home. One issue we had was with Sunbed’s, myself and my daughter went down early one morning around 8.30 had our towels down and then my daughter went into the pool and I sat at the edge keeping an eye on her, it must of been 10 mins max and when I went bk to the Loungers my bag was put on the ground along with the towels. I understand people putting towels down and leaving but I was just at the pool. Also seen a few cockroaches in the early morning by the pool but at nighttime they were everywhere at the seating areas at the pool understandable as it’s a hot country your bound to get insects outside. But I didn’t go down in the evening after that. Don’t let this put you off as I said this hotel is great, brilliant location and very family friendly I would definitely return
Our 2nd brilliant stay!
Not long back from our second visit to the Sunwing fanabe beach.This was also our second time staying bed and breakfast. Ourselves and our children age 5 and 10 absolutely love this hotel! The entertainment team are absolutely fantastic, they get to know every child and can’t do enough for them, my 5 year old loved the lollo and Bernie club and my 10 year old enjoyed going to teen lounge and making friends! Breakfast is absolutely fine, there’s something for everyone. Obviously cannot comment on evening meals/ snack bars etc as we didn’t use them, but the little supermarket onsite is reasonable and there’s plenty of supermarkets close by. The location is absolutely perfect plenty of bars and restaurants around and there’s something for everyone. Fanabe is just beautiful!! The hotel is absolutely spotless and the cleaners do a fantastic job!
The only thing I would probably say is, my children both did the talent show (teen and mini) at 13 euros each. One of the guys commented on how it was always pretty quiet but I’m sure if this was a free activity or even a little bit cheaper it would gain much more interest!! Both my children already want to come back again next year so we’ll probably see you again soon Sunwing 😂😆
Honest review - summer holidays
Currently lying by the pool enjoying our last couple of hours before we head home! We booked this holiday for our family of four with children aged 6 and 8. After reading some of the recent reviews before we flew, we were honestly worried, especially after a previous bad experience in Tenerife. Thankfully, we had nothing to worry about. We honestly can't fault this hotel. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily (apart from the scheduled housekeeping days off, which they let you know about in advance). Everything you need is provided if you're self-catering. We stayed bed and breakfast and, despite some negative reviews, there was plenty of choice every morning. The kids loved the fresh pancakes with chocolate sauce, and there was something for everyone. We chose not to go all-inclusive as it worked out cheaper to eat out and gave us more flexibility. We did try Rosa's Kitchen on our last day though, and the halloumi burgers were delicious! The staff have all been friendly and helpful, the pool is clean, and we never struggled to get a sunbed, even during the summer holidays. The entertainment team were great with the kids, who especially loved the magic show and the ABBA tribute act. My only suggestion would be to advertise the evening entertainment more, as the shows deserve a bigger audience. Overall, this is a fantastic family hotel and great value for money. We wouldn't hesitate to come back!
Relaxing stress free getaway
Staying here for one week and honestly ignore any bad reviews. This hotel has been seamless from start to finish. The minute we walked through the doors nothing was a hassle. Check in was very quick and after a late flight went straight to the room to find sandwiches packed up in fridge waiting on us. We booked a royal studio but we're given a royal family suite.
The snacks and robes in the room were a nice touch after a long day travelling.
NO COCKRAOCHES IN SIGHT. Beautiful clean room with plenty of space.
Staff were so friendly and helpful. We saw a couple of reviews where something was stolen from rooms but we accidentally left some valuable out of the safe and had no issues.
The food was fine for all inclusive. Proper branded drinks like Fanta, coke and freshly made cocktails (no prepacked rubbish). Themed nights for food and always had something for everyone. We had two ceoliacs in our party and from the minute we asked they made us feel like nit an inconvenience for having a dietary requirement. The restaurant staff were so helpful and ensured anything we requested was cooked fresh to avoid cross contamination. ( gluten free pancakes, pizzas, chips, pastas, meats nothing was a problem). There was a gluten free corner in the buffet that had bread and toaster and had BaKer products. Honestly such an easy holiday. Special shout out to the restaurant staff for making people with food allergens feel included.
Pool area busy but never an issue to get a bed. Even if there was beach is 5 mins away. Lots of fun to be had as they allowed the kids to take inflatables in the pool.
Honestly couldn't fault this hotel. Only side note is be careful as the tiles around the pool are slippy when wet.
We will return.
