Of course it's not just about how many amenities a hotel has, but how good they really are. For instance, the H10 Las Palmeras has three swimming pools, including the children's pool, and they're all wonderful. Great holiday destination
Overall it was a great trip and the hotel was very good for what we needed.
The room was spacious and very clean, the only downside would've been the bedside sockets which weren’t suitable for the three prong plug adapters. There were very little sockets to use in place of these. The view we had from the room wasn’t anything special so if you’re into that sort of thing would definitely upgrade to pool/sea view.
The staff throughout the hotel were brilliant and a lot of them were very welcoming and we were able to have a laugh with them. Animation team were great, especially Alex who was looking after the waterpolo/water volleyball daily and had everyone in great spirits throughout the week!
Pools were lovely and clean, and plenty of Sunbeds to choose from with parasols and other shaded areas.
Hotel location is perfect. Easy access to the beach front and not too close to the main strips were noise levels would be louder. Our room wasn’t near the Irish bar next door so we weren’t affected by any noise from there.
All restaurants and bars were well managed and had great atmospheres. Piano Bar in the hotel lobby was certainly our favourite, great views from the Sky Bar which is open on selected nights. Food was a little repetitive at times but the quality was decent and there was a constant supply through the buffet service. Options available to book into their Italian and Japanese restaurants if you want something a little different.
Decent value for money and plenty of options of drinks available if you are included in the all inclusive packages.
Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
Gone Downhill.
Location wise, you cant beat this hotel. Far enough away from the Veronicas Strip to be quiet, but close to vars, restaurants etc to be lively. The communal areas, pools and pool areas are brilliant, nice and clean, plenty of beds and parasols. Sadly thats were the good points end.
Sadly in the 2 years since we had been, the hotel has started to show its age. It needs renovating to bring it upto the 4* hotel it claims to be.
The Italian restaurant is good but not spectacular. Sadly the main buffet is repetitive and after a few days starts to become non-edible. The first 4-5 days we were hear, we could eat happily with plenty of choice. Sadly (for some unknown reason) the food went downhill and my son basically survived off chips and cake, and I ended up making cheese sandwiches for lunch and dinner as there was nothing that was enticing you to eat. Even other members of the part (6 of us in total) started to become dismayed at the choice of food and one of the party will usually eat anything, but she started to only eat chips etc.
This will be our last stay here due to the food and the fact that it needs renovating. Dont get me wrong, its clean and tidy but needs an overhaul to even compete with its "Sibling" the Conquistador just down the road.
The atmosphere in the bar area in the main lobby was always good with somebody singing, playing the guitar or piano at night, but sadly it papered over the "Cracks".
This was not worth the money I paid via Jet2. I would have expected better and more improvements since I was last here, but its the same formula repeated day after day.

Ideal location for your stay
Lovely hotel, clean and friendly. Ideally located to enjoy the shops and nightlife without being slap bang in the middle of it. Breakfast buffet had no queues, clean and tended counters and a large selection of items to choose from.

Disappointing stay – definitely not what I expected from a 4-star H10 hotel
The check-in process itself was fine. There was a queue when we arrived, but it moved quickly and wasn’t really an issue. Unfortunately, things went downhill once we got to the room.
The room was much smaller than I expected. For a few nights it was manageable, but I would have struggled if I were staying for a longer period. On closer inspection, there were also a few areas where the maintenance felt very lazy rather than the room simply needing a bit of extra cleaning. For example, the silicone around the shower floor appeared to have been applied directly over old, mouldy silicone, rather than the old silicone being removed properly first. The shower head also needed a good deep clean, as there was noticeable limescale.
That said, I do want to be fair — apart from those issues, the room itself was very clean and the rest of the hotel was generally well maintained and clean.
The biggest disappointment by far was the food. I’ve stayed in several H10 hotels, including 4-star properties, so I genuinely struggled to understand how the food here could be considered 4-star standard. The buffet had very limited and uninspiring options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were all-inclusive, yet found ourselves unable to eat properly at the hotel because the food was so disappointing.
The food was generally bland, grey-looking and consisted of some very strange combinations. Even the poolside bar was underwhelming. I ordered a Caesar salad, expecting something fairly simple, and it arrived absolutely drenched in honey mustard sauce, which completely overpowered the dish.
As for the customer service, this was another major disappointment. I found the service noticeably less welcoming and attentive unless you were Spanish or German. As English-speaking guests, we didn’t feel particularly well looked after.
If you are considering booking room only, I would say that may be the better option, as there are plenty of places nearby where you can eat.
The hotel is also quite noisy from the surrounding area, although I appreciate its outside the hotel’s control. During our stay, there was an unexpected fireworks display at around 1am on Saturday night, which lasted roughly half an hour. Obviously, I wouldn’t hold the hotel responsible for that, but it is worth being aware that the surrounding area can be noisy.
Overall, the hotel itself was generally clean and well kept, but the food, service and some of the room maintenance really let the experience down. Based on my stay, I wouldn’t choose this hotel again, particularly on an all-inclusive basis.

Bad experience.
Only reason I’m giving this hotel 2 stars is that the majority of the staff were really nice and the coffee shop is a really nice addition. The location is also really good. Outside of this, bit of a crap hotel and we 100 percent would not return. Much better hotels around this price range.
We booked here to have a nice relax and take some down time, so we’re disappointed to find the maintainence team would start working around the pool from as early as 7am. Constant banging.. A lye in with a sea view room was out of the question. Then to top it off, our last 2 days we had a group of lads who were staying next to us that would come back around 4am/5am in the morning and be shouting down hallways, knocking each others room and partying in there rooms on return. Security did nothing despite waking everyone up at early hours of the morning 2 days in a row. I feel sorry for whoever is staying on this floor the week ahead - good luck!
Food was disappointing. Massive lack of choice compared to lots of places we have stayed. Dessert was good though.
There is no where to sit to watch evening entertainment. All of the tables were constantly full. They need more tables / seats.
Air con in rooms is terrible.
