Being just a couple of minutes’ away from the beach, this amazing hotel located in Playa de las Americas, Tenerife, is perfect for a romantic trip. The airport is just about 15 minutes away by car from the complex. The outdoor pool area is simply the best place, there guests can relax and unwind under the shadow of an umbrella, enjoy the sun by sunbathing or having a refreshing swim in the pool. The roof top pool will be another level of relaxation, rest on sun lounger while sipping from a margarita or swimming in the infinity pool while admiring the view of the Atlantic Ocean. The restaurant will receive them with open arms and delight them with delicious food and tasty beverages. After a full day of fun and entertainment, the rooms decorated with bright colours, equipped with all the essential amenities and cosy beds are perfect to have a good night sleep and have an unforgettable holiday.

Amazing service
Couldn’t have asking for better service from the amazing pool bartender Emil, he was so attentive and welcoming. Best bartender on the island!!!

Arrived late evening -- entertainment inside so could hardly hear the lady checking us in ! Swopped room for us and when we got there - no milk - half the fridge drinks missing -- but re stocked the next morning This was the romance room - with jacuzzi bath -- took a hour to fill it up -- and the jets was usless -- not worth the money we paid :(
First 2 nights -- shouting and arguments in the corridors!! And the smell of weed on the balcony- disgusting-- !
When we was there there was a music festival in the resort so I assumed the hotel sold empty rooms cheap -- seeing a family turn up openly admit they had been chucked off the plane so had to go to another airport to get there come up to the rooftop bar as drunk as skunk at 10am walking around the pool sides and shouting to us sunbathing they had been told off by staff as it was a quiet relaxing area -- and her comming up to us shushing us was intimidating- i felt sorry for the staff up there -- then to carry his 18 year old daughter to bed drunk and weeing herself at 11 am ! We did see a few escorted out the hotel by police - On a positive note the staff was so lovely - room spotless -- entertainment brilliant-- loved the pool party (we are in our 50s )
The executive area wasn't worth paying extra for -- crackers - no cheese or butter and the staff had faces like they didn't want to be there @ and things need to be labeled--- in have a intolerance to almond- good job I could see they was in the cake because the man putting them out had no idea what I was saying ! We spoke to customers that had been going for years and they said it had gone down hill especially the food
One thing I would like to point out There is no band system- people we met was bed and breakfast-- yet still got on for evening meal ! Would we come again -- yes because we loved the pool bed system - and entertainment but only b n b --' This could be a amazing hotel with a few bits rectified

This is the noisiest hotel we’ve ever stayed in.
On the first night, we were woken at 1:30am by both neighbouring rooms playing music and talking loudly on their balconies. We called reception, who sent security, but that created even more noise with people talking and doors slamming. The music stopped, but the loud conversations continued. We ended up calling reception another two times, as the noise carried on until at least 4am, when we finally managed to fall asleep. It may well have continued after that.
The walls are incredibly thin, so you can hear absolutely everything. If your neighbours are loud, you’re in for a very disturbed night’s sleep.
It’s not just the neighbouring rooms either. Throughout the night you can hear people returning to their rooms, shouting in the corridors and doors constantly slamming. It was impossible to get a proper night’s sleep.
The following evening, we spoke to reception and explained that if the same thing happened again, we didn’t want to have to call three or four times before anything was done. Unfortunately, nothing changed. Every single night of our holiday was disrupted by noise, and eventually we just gave up reporting it.
We were never offered a room change, although I don’t think it would have made much difference. Our parents were staying in a completely different area of the hotel and experienced exactly the same issues.
The food was also disappointing. The breakfast and buffet lacked variety and quality. The only food we consistently enjoyed was from the pool bar.
On a positive note, the staff were friendly and the entertainment was good.
However, we wouldn’t stay here again. We came home exhausted rather than relaxed, and were more excited for a good night’s sleep in our own bed than anything else. A holiday should leave you feeling refreshed, not sleep deprived.

Yet another brilliant stay at the Tigotan Hotel. We've been to the hotel many times and always receive excellent service. The staff are brilliant, so accommodating and friendly. Lucille in the dining room has been with the company 25 years and is always there with a smile and our regular drinks order. The food is delicious, great choice each day for breakfast and dinner. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool area is lovely. It can get busy but no sunbed wars. The demographic changes with the season, older clients in the winter and young couples in the summer. The entertainment is better in the winter but a few good acts on this time too. The location is good too, only a short walk to the restaurants, shops and beaches. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

Highly Recommend
Very clean, modern hotel with great food and entertainment. Staff are very helpful and friendly especially Abdul and Lorena in the restaurant who always go the extra mile and recognise the repeat visitors like myself. The main heated pool is a great size and always a good temperature. Cafe del Mar is a beautiful rooftop bar serving the best cocktails. This hotel is situated in a quieter area but only 15-20 minutes from the beach and golden mile. This hotel is very good value for money.
