This wonderful hotel in Tenerife is the best option where to spend the most fun and entertaining holidays. The airport can be reached within a 25-minute drive away. Guests can choose between chilling out in the spa, sculpting their body in the gym or sunbathing and swimming in the outdoor pool area. It is possible to do meetings, conferences and other private events in the property and host up to 700 people. The hotel provides exceptional dining and entertainment facilities, clubs for children and adolescents and an amazing Beach Club. The modern and stylish rooms are well equipped with all the needed amenities to have the most pleasant and unforgettable stay.
First time at the Hard Rock Tenerife it was brilliant, great hotel loved all the music memorabilia all around the hotel so interesting!! Facilities and restaurants were excellent and we loved the lagoon pool and particularly enjoyed the sax player!! We will return
We arrived about 22:45pm, caught the last few minutes of one of the acts, which were great and the check in experience was fine with no issues, very nice and helpful reception staff.
The room we booked was very nice and kept very clean and tidy. We had a few issues with the toilet, which was fixed promptly but seems from other reviews to be a common issue. Again another common issue is the inability to get the BOSE speaker in the room working, which was a bit disappointing. We had a great view of the surrounding area and sea, but, the building works going on in our direct view (and from the restaurant and pool areas) was not great and did not help with the overall experience. The reception area/shops were great both inside the hotel and immediately outside. The Hard Rock shop was great and had a nice variety of quite decent quality products.
There are a couple of pools, including a family, adult and main pool across the walkway over the road. The pools were mostly clean and had enough space for all 5 of us when we needed it. The beds were not at all comfortable and most of the pods at the family pool were damaged, for a 5 star hotel I expect better. The day time entertainment was almost non existent pool side, with a 20 minute set from a guitarist on the Saturday and a resident DJ for a couple of hours in the afternoon at the adult pool, other than that it was background music.
We had a mixed review in relation to the staff, some were great and really helpful and kind, there was a lovely lady at the adult pool (sorry I forgot her name) and she was brilliant. Unfortunately some others were quite rude and had no interest in serving you unless you had walked to the bar yourself, where they were then quick to take the order from you there rather than engage with people poolside and serve like some members of staff were doing.
The main pool was closed off for a private event on the Saturday, which was something we were only made aware of on the morning. We were allowed to attend but were not allowed to benefit from our All Inclusive package while there, hotel guests deserved better given the cost of the stay and the expectation of a 5 star hotel (which in my view it is definitely not).
Entertainment - for a Hard Rock hotel this was quite a shocker. The main evening acts were all excellent, really talented and enjoyable performances, however this was only between 10pm and 11pm with limited entertainment prior and certainly no sight of any musicians any time prior to 10pm. Again given how expensive it is to visit and that its a 5 star hotel, the Hard Rock really need to do better to live up to their name. Having a few acoustic acts during the afternoon by the pool, on the stage or anywhere, would have been at least what I expected. Not taking away from the actual main (and often only) acts between 10pm-11pm who were great, there was little else other than some background music. Not a great atmosphere in my view.
The food was not great and way below what we expected. The main buffet restaurant was quite limited in choice and quality. We booked a couple of the other restaurants there, as All Inclusive guests we were quite limited for choice at each of these restaurants as there was an added cost for most items.
If you are looking for a nice beach then look elsewhere. It certainly gives the impression this is a private beach in a lot of the reviews, it is not. There is public access from both sides of the beach and the beach itself is dirty with quite a lot of rubbish on there. On our first visit to the beach we saw sanitary towels (used) on the beach amongst a lot of other rubbish. I accept while this is a cove and will naturally gather a lot of rubbish thrown into the sea, there is no need to have such a dirty beach and a bit of attention to the state of it would go a long way. We used the public steps to go back toward the main reception of the hotel and were disgusted to find human excrement half way up!
The local area is lovely with a few shops and pubs nearby, but is very quiet and not much going on at all late at night.
Overall, we were quite disappointed, the hotel does not deserve a 5 star rating in our opinion and the hotel and brand need to reinvest some of the hard earned money that holiday makers put into visiting there. Its over priced and overrated and we will not be visiting the hotel again.
Amazing staff, quality food, clean and everyone willing to go that extra mile to make your holiday very special! From when you first walk in and meet the smiling Inaki bell boy and the friendly reception staff this hotel is definitely 5* Special mention for the hotel team, Myriam, Ana and Lola always ready to sort any problem and make every guest feel v welcome. Also EMI (Emanuel) in the beach club serving drinks and food, he was such a happy friendly guy and made our days there easy and fun! Valentina at the Montauk Steak Restaurant (top food) was a 5* hostess, she made us feel so welcome and really made the experience feel luxurious, I wish I could eat there every night! I’ve been to this hotel many times and this team is the best, I will be coming back again very soon :)
Lovely hotel, a bit tired in places. Rooms have badly designed shower cubicles that leak all over the room...all in all a bit generic and the food was so very avg verging on poor at times, it was cold most evenings with very little options and same repetitive choices. Don't be fooled by other reviews claiming its great for food allergies as a celiac you can have plain meats or chips and a few desserts, with no attempts at sauces or accompaniments. Breakfast that everyone champions was bog standard with absolutely nothing to make it stand out plus if you left going down to late it was a zoo!
Great holiday , gorgeous weather, hotel is perfect. Staff in the teen kids club were excellent, my 12 year old son loved it and specia shout out to Raul who was great!
