Having an amazing location, this beautiful hotel is situated in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. The spectacular volcanic beach of Playa Jardín with its black sand is just a couple of minutes’ walk away. In the surroundings, guests may find many restaurants, cafes and bars, which are perfect to spend a lovely evening having a delicious local meal or some drinks with friends. In the property, visitors can rest and relax by the side of the outdoor swimming pool or have a refreshing swim in it. The gym is a great place where to feel energised and active. The restaurants will receive them with open arms and offer them meals that will please all types of tastes. As well as the whole complex, the rooms have been perfectly decorated to create a cosy atmosphere with a combination of bright and warm tones. They are equipped with comfortable beds and all the essential amenities to have a pleasant stay.

Be Live hotel
Location was perfect for Loro Parque Zoo, which is a must. Beach is just down from hotel. Atmosphere was great. The rooms were cleaned everyday but outdated the air con didn't work properly and the floors were ripped and damaged. Value was good. We were on the 7th floor and the lifts didn't work so sometimes had to climb flights of stairs. We were woken a few times in the week by drunken idiots banging on doors and shouting and swearing. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The entertainment staff were great aqua aerobics in the mornings, great fun.

The location was great, easy walking distance into the old town, which is beautiful, with lots of great shops and restaurants. The hotel staff were friendly and entertaining. The hotel in my opinion is no longer a 4 star, more like a 2/3 star. It needs updating everywhere. The rooms are ok but very dated, no bottled water in the room when you arrive (you have to ask for this from the bar, which you are not told upon checkin, other guests told us). No facilities in the room for making tea or coffee. (don't be fooled by the photos). You have to pay to use the room safe, even if you are booked in as all inclusive!. The food was ok and basically the same everyday apart of a couple of dishes. The pool area was nice but not enough sun beds for the number of guest staying. Not enough patio furniture on the terraces, which warning they are in direct sunlight, no shades were available. The entertainment of a night was fine, but I would say the host was very good and tried hard to get everyone involved. The view from the balcony was amazing!!! we were facing the hills and pool. As for value for money I'm conflicted, staying as all inclusive, I would expect to have basic amenities like water available in the room on check in and free use of the room safe. The food was boring and ending up eating out most nights, which was an added cost. I would stay in this area again but not this hotel. When I book 4 stars I want some luxury and you do not get this here. The airport transfer from the south side is about 2 hours.
Older hotel, which needs some TLC.
Older hotel which needs to have some money spent on it. Great terrace, but hardly any tables or chairs and those that are available are a bit old and tired.
Bedroom was clean, large and had good aircon. Had fresh cakes delivered to our room every afternoon! Beds were comfortable and the bathrobes were a nice addition.
Bathrooms are large and clean but a little tired and dated, but everything worked and plenty of hot water.
Carpets in the bedroom corridors.... they desperately need to be replaced and really let the place down. It wasn't just one unsightly stain, there were multiple stains.
Staff are just wonderful. Receptions, cleaning and restaurant staff are all helpful and friendly.
Food in the restaurant was fairly consistent and the choice of fresh bread, puddings, salads etc. was good. Staff constantly clearing tables, cleaning and replacing food. I think the only thing that really let the restaurant down where customers who didn't respect other dinners or the dress code.

An Amazing Stay – Don't Listen to the Bad Reviews!Fantastic hotel from start to finish! We upgraded to the ninth-floor Adult Club and loved it. There were minor issues with the lifts (we had to use the service lifts at times), but it didn't take away from an otherwise amazing holiday. The hotel is close to the beach and a 10-minute walk from town. The facilities are top-notch; while we skipped the gym, the pool and entertainment were incredible. Highly recommended!

Average in every way…
The hotel is in a good location, close to the beach, Puerto de la Cruz and the bus station so trips to other areas on the island is cheap and easy.
The room we stayed in was a twin when I booked a double so they zip-tied the legs of the beds together. The mattresses are awful and you can feel how thin and cheap they are. The food was only ever warm, never hot, regardless of what time we ate. The dishes were not always labelled so it was difficult to tell what allergens were in the food. The tables in the restaurant were always sticky, even after cleaning. The plates, bowls and cups were sometimes chipped or cracked and not always clean. There is a daily charge of €3 to use the safe in the room. Our towels were removed from the room when being cleaned and not replaced until the evening as they had run out. There were always long black hairs on the floor in our room, presumably from the staff. The drains smelled of rotten eggs and the bath was old and badly worn. The shower head bracket was broken so you had to hold the shower head to wash properly. The main lifts were out of order so everyone had to use the service elevators which were small and opposite the store cupboards on each floor which were smelly.
I certainly would not recommend this hotel.
