More space needed
Check-in was fast and efficient, which was a positive start to the stay. The excellent sea view from the room was also a highlight. However, the room itself was quite small and lacked a proper vanity area and adequate drawer storage for personal belongings. This made it difficult to keep everything organised and, overall, the limited space affected the comfort of the stay. While the sea view was excellent, it didn’t make up for the lack of practical storage and usable space. Tea and coffee were not consistently replenished, and the amount of milk provided was extremely limited. On one occasion, after returning to the room, we needed more tea and contacted housekeeping, but the response was very slow. I eventually went to the restaurant to ask for some tea bags, where I was met with a reluctancy to give any. After some persuasion, I was eventually given four tea bags. This shouldn’t have been necessary, and basic tea, coffee and milk supplies should be replenished as part of the normal housekeeping service. The restaurant only offered buffet service, which also felt somewhat restrictive, particularly if you prefer more choice. Overall, there were some positives, particularly the efficient check-in and excellent sea view, but the small room, lack of storage, limited practical facilities and inconsistent housekeeping had a noticeable impact on the overall comfort and enjoyment of the stay.

A Relaxing Stay and a Warm Welcome.
I am just recently back from two weeks in Puerto staying in this beautiful hotel with my family. We were warmly greeted at reception upon arrival and enjoyed every moment of our stay. The location on the beach front is stunning and paying for the sea view room was definitely worth it to be able to see and hear the waves at anytime. The staff were all very friendly and work so hard no matter their role to make you feel welcome. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food with a wide variety of dishes available and a pleasant atmosphere in the dining room made eating an enjoyable part of our holiday. Thank you to everyone at the CA for a very memorable stay.

Hotel has been refurbished to a high standard
The former Atlantis Hotel has been completely refurbished to a very high standard. Its a perfect location as right on the seafront so great if you have mobility issues. I treated myself and booked a "level" room on the top floor which was massive and had a big terrace overlooking the sea and Mount Teide. The bathroom was very big however the walk in shower was quite small in comparison. Room was also very warm even with the air con turned on. An engineer came and explained that the temperature was fixed and could not be changed. He did provide me with a fan for the room. But I would have expected better air con for the price of the room. I could also only get one English channel on the TV but the engineer fixed this for me. The bed turn down service was a bit hit and miss and I didn't get any for the first 3 nights. Also the sheets were not changed for the whole week and I would have expected them to be have changed at least once. Because the room was right on the top floor it was very quiet. The level lounge was more of breakfast room than a lounge with only tables and chairs and no sofas. The breakfast was excellent with a large buffet and a la carte for hot food which was brought to your table. Couldn't fault it at all. In the evening from 4-6 you could get branded drinks, a daily cocktail and range of snacks. But I didn't feel the lounge was a place to sit and relax or read a book. (But its a minor point). I did not use the pool or the bar area but both seemed very nice and there was evening entertainment. I went to the spa twice once for reflexology and once for a facial, both were excellent and the view form the treatment rooms was amazing as they looked straight out to sea. Staff were all very helpful and tried to solve any issues. My only complaint is that the room I booked had a jacuzzi on the terrace however it was so deep that if you have mobility issues (as I do) then it is impossible to get in or out from as there were no steps or hand rails. Which meant that I could not use it. As its the selling point of the room I was quite disappointed. I spoke to reception and suggested that they might want to consider something in the future for guests who had mobility issues. To be fair they did offer a solution to use the thermal spa but one of the reasons I booked the jacussi room was for the privacy so it was not something that I felt I could do. However it would not put me off booking the room again as it is very big and the terrace is spectacular. Great hotel, great service and I thoroughly recommend it, especially booking "the level"

They've nailed it!
Back from a great 4 night stay! Travelled as 2 adults & a 12 year-old. Hotel delivers on all levels... Rooms are modern and clean. The bed and pillows are so comfortable. Food is great with a wide selection to suit all tastes. Staff are all lovely and very helpful. Pool area is fantastic and there was always a sunbed available! We booked Level up... we had an exclusive area for breakfast and from 4pm to 5pm, you get snacks and drinks included! Not to mention it comes with a sea view room! Worth every penny!
Slight niggles (if I was to be really picky): . Room on the small side for the 3 of us . We had no English TV channels . Lifts are very slow and small (lots of waiting). We were on 9th floor so did need the lift.
Can't recommend this hotel enough! We will be back!
