Landmar Costa Los Gigantes

The hotel entertainment was 💯 brilliant its none stop both night and day. We paid extra for sea view and was worth it the views were amazing. The food same as any other all inclusive kids and family were fine just me and husband not a fan of all inclusive. Drinks although they use branded alcohol drinks the Pop lets you down and the cocktail well were ready mixed. The location very hilly if we walked down the front we'd have to taxi back only 3-5 Euro well worth doing, the strip is few shop's and restaurants as really quiet not much to do unless for 45 Euro get a taxi to playa Americas or bus for 4-6 Euro.

We stayed at the hotel from the last week of August until the 12th of September, and overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this hotel to everyone! The wonderful staff truly made our trip extra special, and we are so thankful for all the care we received.

Outstanding Staff & Entertainment: The Animation Team: Sofia, Alex, Oscar, and Nico were incredible. They brought fantastic energy to the kids' discos, keeping them full of rhythm, and they ran what is easily the best adult entertainment we have ever experienced.

Sofia (Landi Club): She made our daughter's stay magical. Sofia went above and beyond to ensure her needs were met and made every activity so fun (which sadly not all other ladies did as much). She spoke fluently in so many languages that all the children just adored her! Although she didn't speak Polish fluently, every single time we came to pick up our daughter, she surprised us with new words she had learned. I was just shocked by all the effort she put in.

Activities: The aqua aerobics featured modern, energetic songs, the cocktail-making sessions were great, and my partner loved the water sports. The team was always encouraging without ever being pushy.

Ferna (High Ropes): When our daughter got scared halfway through the high ropes course and wanted to quit, Ferna was amazing. He was calm, helpful, and cheered her up, ensuring she was okay after getting a bit upset that she couldn't quite reach one part with her legs. Great staff all around!

Photography Team: The roaming photographers were wonderful. We booked a full session, and the professional team knew exactly how to guide our poses so they came out even better. We ended up with gorgeous photos we will have for the rest of our lives, and the price wasn't too bad either.

Dining Experience Main Buffet: We loved the variety and the fact that the food was well-seasoned. While there were plenty of bland options available for children, there were also many tasty, well-seasoned dishes, and we always found a few bits we liked.

Themed Dinners: These were spot on! Each one had something special about it, such as fresh seafood, cheese pasta tossed right from the rind, freshly cut kebab meat, and a chocolate fountain.

Ciao À La Carte Restaurant: Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience. While the carpaccio was very tasty and the chocolate and pistachio pizza dessert was spot on, the main courses fell short:

Never in my life had I eaten Frutti di Mare with tuna, which completely killed all the other flavors in it.

The calzone came out raw inside.

My daughter’s rosemary focaccia was just a pizza with rosemary thrown on it and a bit of olive oil in the middle.

We had to go to the buffet afterward because we didn't eat as much as we wanted.

Drinks & Refreshments Alcohol: The drinks were some of the best I've had. They used branded alcohol that tasted nice, and no one was skimping on the pours. I mostly lived on Martini with champagne!

Sunset Bar Tip: If you visit the sunset bar and ask for a barraquito coffee for a small fee, they will make you one—and oh dear, that was just amazing. I recommend everyone try it at least once.

Minor Drawback: The only complaint I could have was the lack of regular full-sugar Coca-Cola. They had Pepsi, but sadly all of them contained sweeteners, to which I have intolerances.

Location, Beach & Room Location: The hotel is in a good spot—about a 10-minute walk to Lidl, with a lovely little bakery/cafe next to it and a few small shops nearby.

The Beach: To get to the beach, you have to walk down the hill for a few minutes on smooth roads, which isn't as hard as I thought. However, walking back up with sand sticking to your body can be a little challenging! Next to the beach, there are more shops, and the black sand makes it quite special—though it is way hotter than any other beach we've been to. As you get in the sea, the waves are quite big, so be careful with the rocks being tossed at your legs.

The Room (Block J): Our room was spacious, always cleaned to a high standard, and offered a beautiful sea view. However, a big minus was that there were two single beds put together instead of one double, making it uncomfortable at night as the beds kept on moving away from each other even with wheel locks on them. Aside from that, in Block J, we had to walk up a few stairs or take a lift away from the busy pool, but it was the perfect location for us since we spent so much time there.
