Everything was perfect except the elevator. It functions but it doesnt work as it should. Other than that i enjoyed my stay especially my first time in Turkey!

A disappointing experience from an experienced hospitality perspective

My husband and I are experienced guests in the hospitality industry. My husband has previously worked in hotels in the United States, and we have both worked in and stayed at many ultra-luxury hotel chains in Türkiye. Therefore, we believe we have a fairly good understanding of what can reasonably be expected from a high-end resort. Unfortunately, this hotel fell far below our expectations.

The room cleanliness was particularly disappointing. Despite repeatedly asking for the bed linens to be changed, I had great difficulty getting this done. More importantly, the dust under the beds that was already there when we first arrived remained there even after housekeeping had cleaned the room. At one point, we deliberately moved the beds to make it clear that the area underneath needed to be cleaned. However, even the toys our children had put under the beds, along with the accumulated dust, were simply left there. For a hotel at this level, this is not acceptable.

We also noticed a significant difference in the way some staff interacted with guests depending on the language they were speaking. When my husband and I spoke English, we repeatedly observed a noticeably different attitude compared with when we spoke Turkish. Staff members often seemed much more interested in talking among themselves than engaging with guests. This was especially disappointing to witness in a supposedly high-end hospitality environment.

The food was another major disappointment. If, like us, you enjoy seafood, I would definitely not recommend this hotel. The other food options were also underwhelming, and throughout our stay we did not even see proper red-meat service. For a resort positioned at this level, the overall food experience was far below what we expected.

We rarely saw anyone from Guest Relations during our stay. To be fair, whenever we had an issue, the reception staff did make an effort to assist us. However, the restaurant management also gave us the impression that they were not particularly engaged or enthusiastic about their work, which unfortunately affected the overall atmosphere.

The beach is extremely small. It was almost impossible to swim without getting uncomfortably close to or bumping into other guests. For a resort of this category, the beach capacity simply does not seem adequate for the number of guests.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, especially considering our previous experience with luxury hotels. There were simply too many issues in basic housekeeping, food quality, guest interaction, and beach capacity.

Unfortunately, this is a hotel we would definitely not choose again.
