Food was amazing and staff were really helpful and gave service with a smile
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Kaoutar for her exceptional kindness and warm hospitality throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, and her caring nature truly made a difference.
The stay was wonderful. Most importantly, the kids had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed every moment, which made our trip even more special.
Thank you, Kaoutar, for your generosity, kindness, and the beautiful memories. We highly recommend this experience and look forward to returning in the future. 🌟😊
Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area but not without its flaws.
The positives are the hotel grounds are fantastic and very well kept. With big pools there was always space to play or swim. As others have mentioned, there are branded drinks and also having costa coffee on site was fantastic. We were in the old part of the hotel and although our room was dated it was ok for our needs. The WiFi was very good with solid coverage throughout. I thought the food was fine and over a two week stay its bound to get a bit repetitive. The staff were mostly attentive but some seemed fed up.
Negatives....
Check in was such a long drawn out process. We arrived at 1.30am and were shattered. The last thing we wanted to do was fill out a form with details they already had. Maybe have a form with details on that visitors sign if they're happy with them.
There is a significant language barrier between a lot of staff and English speaking holidaymakers..even to the point where I had to show one man a picture of coca cola to make him understand. When you go to guest services and they just stare at you then you know you're in trouble.
Crowd control is non existent at rixos sungate which allows others to just jump queues which left me just angry when id paid a lot of money for our holiday. It was the same at the fairy tale...my granddaughter wanted to paint but was consistently being disregarded for others to just walk in. Getting meals at night was even worse with queues for different foods merging into one! How about getting barriers to create an in/out system? It would stop all queues jumping and I really feel these measures will help your staff too.
The entertainment for british people was almost non existent. Our first night was great, the lighting and music as an intro was wonderful then there were some acrobats who were fantastic. After that it was dancers or djs or worse still acts purely aimed at Russian guests. Our final night was sensational...symphony x were sensational and played songs for every nation. This was perfect and it was sad it took so long to see it!
Finally, as an international hotel chain it really felt that it was there just for russians and not for anyone else. I was not the only brit to think this.Having paid a lot of money for three of us this left a bitter taste in the mouth.
Exceptional service and delicious food. The staff came to our table with different food and offered it to us. Really happy with restaurant.
We’ve just finished a lovely meal at The Mandarin restaurant. The food and service were impeccable as was the advice before we ordered. Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone
