The hotel room was not up to scratch for how much was paid. The door to the bathroom was warped. There was leaking from the shower onto the bathroom floor. There was mold in the room and the bed sheets were not changed for 3 days. The staff was helpful and did their best to facilitate. This is the only reason as to why the star is 3 star. Even, Somer & Idris was especially helpful and they went the extra distance to try and help as much as possible. If I come back here again, it will be because of them.

We stayed at Asteria Family Resort Belek with our family and friends in July/August 2026. The hotel is located on the main hotel strip along the coast near Belek and the golf courses. It covers a large area, with several accommodation buildings and plenty of greenery, including palm trees, pine trees and maintained lawns. We stayed in one of the “Hill” rooms. The room was a little dated, but it was clean and spacious enough for the limited amount of time we spent there. The bathroom had two sinks, a toilet and a large shower. The air-conditioning unit was brand new and kept the room cool and dry even on the lowest fan setting, despite outside temperatures reaching 39°C. There was a wide choice of food available throughout the day. The snacks at the beach bar, including waffles with chocolate-hazelnut topping and fruit, ice cream and dürüm kebabs, were available between 12:00 and 16:00. They were tasty, and we never had to wait in long queues. The alcoholic drinks were made with local brands, but the quality and taste were fine. They were much better than the overly sweet or strange-tasting mixed drinks we have experienced at some other all-inclusive hotels. There was also a proper coffee shop, which we visited almost every afternoon. It served Turkish coffee and traditional machine espresso-based drinks, rather than the diluted machine coffee usually found at breakfast. Both cow’s milk and plant-based alternatives, including soy and almond milk, were available. Our boys enjoyed the water slides and the football pitch, where they played football almost every afternoon. The beach was wide and sandy, with easy access to the sea and plenty of sunbeds. However, the usual “sunbed run” happened every morning, and most of the places under umbrellas were reserved by around 10:00. After that time it could take some time to find a free umbrella, even though many of the reserved sunbeds were not actually being used. What surprised me most was the overall cleanliness of the resort. Our room was cleaned every day, and we daily received fresh towels and bed linen, even when it was probably not necessary. Another very positive surprise was the staff. Despite the extreme heat and the large number of guests, they were always helpful, polite and ready to serve. My impression was that the staff were well trained and very well organized. The communication with the guest relations team was through WhatsApp. Every day we received a message containing the evening program and whenever we asked something, the reply came within minutes. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We were especially pleased because we had read several negative reviews before booking and were not completely sure what to expect. In the end, we had a very good experience and were happy with our choice.

Our stay at Asteria Hotel Belek was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived until check-out, everything was perfect. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, the food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the facilities and entertainment made our family vacation unforgettable.

What made our experience even more special was Eren. He was incredibly kind, professional, and always willing to help with a genuine smile. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy throughout our stay.

The hotel is truly lucky to have someone as wonderful as Eren on their team. Employees like him make guests want to come back again and again.
