Selectum Luxury Resort

My stay at Selectum Luxury Resort Belek was exceptional from start to finish. The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help. The resort is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and spotless, and the food offered a fantastic variety with something for everyone. The beach, pools, and entertainment made every day enjoyable, and the attention to detail throughout the resort really stood out. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Turkey and would gladly return for another stay!

This was our second visit to Selectum Luxury Resort. We first stayed here four years ago, and after experiencing several other five-star resorts in Antalya, we chose to return to Selectum this year with our family — which says a lot about how much we enjoyed our previous stay.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, and we particularly love the family section and the family rooms, which are very well designed for families with children. The hotel facilities are excellent, the beach is amazing, and the staff throughout the resort were extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming.

The food was another highlight of our stay. There was a great variety of options catering to different tastes, and, more importantly, the quality of the food was consistently very good. Having stayed at other resorts in Antalya, I would say the overall food quality at Selectum remains one of its strengths.

There are, however, a couple of areas where I feel there is room for improvement. Compared with our visit four years ago, I felt that some of the family facilities have been scaled back. During our previous stay, we were able to have both breakfast and lunch at the family buffet restaurant, which was extremely convenient, particularly with younger children coming directly from the pool. This year, I noticed that only part of the restaurant appeared to be operational, with more limited options, and it opened later in the day rather than offering the broader meal times we experienced previously.

This was not a major issue for us personally, as our children are older now and we were happy to use the main restaurant. However, I do think the family restaurant in its previous format was a particularly valuable feature for families travelling with younger children.

The main issue during our stay was the air conditioning in our family room. The room has a sliding door separating the parents' area from the children's section, but there is only one air-conditioning unit serving the entire space. If the sliding door is closed, very little cool air reaches the children's section. Even with the door open, the air-conditioning struggled to keep the whole room comfortably cool, particularly at night. Unfortunately, there were several occasions when the children woke up sweating, which affected the quality of our sleep. I would strongly suggest that the hotel consider installing a higher-capacity air-conditioning system for these rooms, or ideally an additional unit in the children's section. Given the Antalya summer temperatures, this would make a significant difference to the comfort of families staying in these rooms. Aside from these points, our stay was excellent and we had an amazing family holiday. Selectum remains a beautiful resort with wonderful staff, excellent food, a fantastic beach, and very good facilities. We were very happy to return after four years and hope the hotel continues to maintain the high standards that made us choose Selectum for a second time.
