Lovely place for all
Lovely hotel. Very attentive staff. Extremely helpful ladies at guest services. Not a great deal of info given on arrival so a bit of stumbling for a few days as we discovered the snack bar and the entertainment. Lovely sauna and steam and hamam area. Book early if you want the steak restaurant as it gets fully booked. Tip boxes everywhere so have some small notes on you.

Devastating experience
The advertisement of this hotel feels false, and I was left feeling heartbroken and that I had wasted my money. This hotel was very run down, and the photographs advertised seem outdated. There was always flies landing on the food in the all inclusive and the plates were always dirty. The steak restaurant was atrocious! I left this hotel loosing weight and extremely upset. Other guests at the hotel during my stay felt exactly the same as me and my husband!

Good points, the rooms are good, the hotel is clean and the grounds are very nice. Decent beach and pool areas. Very nice beach bar and beach snack restaurant at lunchtime. Excellent and very friendly animation team with fun water polo in the pool most days. Most staff are very friendly and professional.
Not so good points. The hot food in the buffet was almost always cold. The quality of the food was hit and miss (apart from lunch at the beach restaurant which was always good). Only 1 of the 4 a la carte restaurants are open per night, and they share 2 venues. This is very misleading when booking as you assume there are 4 other restaurants to choose from each night!
The steak restaurant told us they had problems in the kitchen making a very long wait for the main course which then came out cold (apart from the steak). The fish restaurant again served the hot dishes cold. Unacceptable when you're paying extra! The cold starters are the same in all the restaurants. The tepanyaki was the only good a la carte restaurant.
The sun loungers are extremely uncomfortable and either need cushions or replacing. There are cats everywhere scrounging for food in all the restaurants.
When asking where a Brazilian night of entertainment was, we were told 3 different places and different times, and a manager even said "I don't know" when asked where it was taking place!! Lastly, the saxophone player in the ironically named piano bar was awful. Sounded like she was practicing at times and never turned off the background music which was already playing when she started. This was in complete contrast to the electric cello player who asked for the background music to be switched off and then played a great choice of songs with style.
Overall, a good break, but this is a hotel which could be so much better.
Definitely not 5 star, but still an enjoyable holiday, however could not recommend to others due to the bad points as mentioned.
