“This city hotel is located on the beautiful and longest beach in Antalya. Property and rooms are totally renovated in 2020. The city center can be reached in approximately 10 minutes via public transport and Antalya Airport is 30 km away. The air-conditioned hotel, located directly on the beach, offers guests a choice of different facilities and room types, including luxury rooms, with magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains. The health and wellbeing of our guests is our top priority. Property is appropriate for hygiene regulations. Guests will lack nothing in this establishment. All rooms are adequately equipped to ensure a comfortable stay and feature a balcony or terrace and individually regulated air conditioning and heating. The hotel has a broad selection of leisure facilities on offer, including sun loungers and parasols on the beach and by the pools, and two SPA centers with Turkish baths, offering a variety of massages and beauty treatments. Crowne Plaza Antalya prioritizes the protection of the health and safety of its guests. Free Chaise longs, Parasols are provided by Hotel in the pool area, Beach in front of the hotel is a public beach, the hotel has got tunnel access to the beach but using facilities are guest's own risk.
Extremely Disappointing Stay at Crowne Plaza Antalya. Far Below 5-Star Standards Our experience at the Crowne Plaza Antalya was deeply disappointing and fell completely short of what you expect from a supposed five-star hotel. From the start, the room had major functional issues. Most of the power outlets didn't work at all, even after trying the wall switches. Worse, there were no universal USB or international power outlets to charge our devices. For an international brand, making guests pay a deposit just to get an adapter to charge standard American electronics is ridiculous. We also faced zero flexibility from the management. Since we were checking out early and would miss the breakfast we paid for (€10 per person for two adults and two kids), we asked if we could swap it for dinner instead. They flatly refused. The safety and service issues were the most alarming. The elevator malfunctioned while we were inside—it felt like it was free-falling before coming to a violent, jerky stop. When we called the front desk for help, the response was completely indifferent. We felt unsafe, and no one even bothered to offer an apology for the terrifying experience. To top it all off, getting proper rest was impossible. The mattress was hard as a rock, and the soundproofing in the room is practically non-existent—we could hear all the noise from outside throughout the night. Between unsafe facilities, uncomfortable rooms, and a total lack of guest care or flexibility, this property fails to meet basic service standards, let alone five stars. I would strongly advise travelers to look elsewhere.
We revisited wonderful Antalya and this hotel after six years, when we were here during COVID. My review will be almost identical. On the whole, this is an excellent hotel but falls short of being exceptional.
The familiar deficiencies that I attributed to the pandemic last time are still very much evident here. But I will start with what the hotel excels at.
The service is first class across most parts. It is in a brilliant location, situated on the beach, which is a minutes walk from a well maintained and extensive pool.
It is also an establishment that depends heavily on its infrastructure. The rooms and suites are spacious and well appointed, with exceptional bathroom and shower facilities.
When we last visited, they had a 'make it right second time service ethos'. They would strive to rectify errors and mistakes and go above and beyond. This is still very much in evidence now.
My contention is, however, that they should not be making some of these in the first instance. When we arrived at the hotel, it was clear the bathroom had not been cleaned, with used towels still hanging from the door. Also, the second shower still has an empty conditioner bottle. I asked three times for this to be replaced, with the third time an air conditioner service engineer being sent. 😄
One caveat absolutely is beyond the control of the hotel but they should warn their customers. If you have a sea view room or suite you will have to deal with LOUD music blazing out from the opposite bars until 2 AM. What I would recommend is that they invest and sound proof or add some better double glazing.
Being on the coast, there is also a very unpleasant odour as you enter the room which maybe the AC or ducting or just poor drainage. And they do not have any luggage weighing equipment which you will find as standard in other five star establishments.
It may seem like I am being hyper critical, but these are just small margins and easily rectified with attention to detail. The best five star hotels are distinguished by this.
We otherwise had a memorable stay.
I want to give a huge shoutout to the gentleman at the front desk( Mr. Can) who went above and beyond to help us recover our mobile phone, which we had lost in a taxi. He stayed patient, professional, and determined to help until the phone was found. He tracked down the details, communicated with the hotel security to get the taxi no. And communicate with the taxi company, and kept us updated the whole time. This kind of dedication and genuine care for guests is rare, and it turned a stressful situation into a huge relief. Thank you so much for your outstanding service - you truly made our stay memorable!
If you are bothered by loud music and are a light sleeper, I do not recommend you stay in the 8th and 9th floors as there are 2 sources of disturbance that are the top floor night club/bar and there is an establishment across the main street that keeps playing loud music till 1am.
Otherwise, the hotel has had an air-conditioning problem for several nights in our suite and the management had no other options for us for 3 nights. Solution, they brought us one of those super huge cooling fans you see in cafe's and outdoor restaurants 🫥
The spa as a facility lacks better staffing that speaks English, and lighting, otherwise the whole hotel staff are excellent, kind and cooperative.
i don’t come this hotel so and its expensive and i don’t come antalya
