We had the most amazing stay at Aska Lara! Everything about the hotel was brilliant, from the food and facilities to how friendly and welcoming all the staff were. A special mention has to go to the entertainment team, who were absolutely incredible! They worked so hard every day to make sure everyone was having fun and there was always something going on. They were so friendly, funny and full of energy, and honestly made our holiday so much more enjoyable. The entertainment in the evenings was also amazing. The pools and waterpark were definitely another highlight. The hotel was lovely and clean. A huge thank you to everyone at Aska Lara, especially the entertainment team, for making our holiday so special. We genuinely dont want to leave and would 100% come back! ❤️🇹🇷
Great holiday
We are just back from 11 days at ask Lara, the food here is the best foos we have had in turkey lots of choices for adults and kids , we didn't need to get up at stupid o'clock either for sun beds. Hotel is clean and most staff are friendly but the bar staff can get crabit And some can be really rude, especially ones inside the hotel bar ,that was my only bad thing, kids had th beat time and the bus to the water park and entertainment is 2 mins and also 5 mins walk away so wasn't an issue. We went with family and they were put in the hotel 2 mins away from main hotel which was inconvenient but was fine. Would recommend anyone going here is a lovely hotel.
Our Sister holiday at Aska Lara Resort
My sister and I returned home a week ago from a fantastic holiday stay at Aska Lara Resort which we booked via Jet2 holidays and flew from Stansted. Our plan for our holiday was to relax on the beach/by the pool of an all inclusive hotel therefore we did not leave the resort sites whilst we were there and actually we didn’t feel like we needed to.
Wet n wild Although the wet n wild area where the slides, beach and some more larger pools were located separately from the hotel it was only a short 10 minute walk away or the hotel provided a free bus service which was very frequent. We never had a problem with getting on the bus or finding sun-beds and this was during the school holiday time. Wet n wild is only open to Aska Lara guests and there is security at all the entrances to the hotel and wet n wild to make sure no one else is on their sites which was reassuring to see.
Restaurants/all inclusive There is an all inclusive restaurant which had plenty of choices at all meal times and we were able to eat different things every time we were there. We also booked our free meal one evening at the lounge à la carte restaurant in the middle of our stay which was very enjoyable and located in the wet n wild area. On another night we chose to pay €25 each to go to the Turkish restaurant which is on site of the hotel and this was amazing and definitely worth the extra cost. Snacks were very easy to get anytime and there also was a midnight snack opening time in the main all inclusive restaurant if you were up later in the evening. There was a Starbucks on the hotel site which was part of the all inclusive drinks and we made very good use of this during our stay as we do love a Starbucks! However you often needed to queue a while when it first opens in the morning and when it is about to close at the end of the day so it’s best to get these somewhere in-between. Possibly could also do with having another Starbucks over at the wet n wild as we probably would have got them over there too if that was an option.
Entertainment Evening entertainment was different every night and held on the stage at the wet n wild area. Our favourite was the retro party on the Thursday as we prefer being involved in what was going on and dancing. We also enjoyed an evening of karaoke. A lot of the other evenings had shows that you watched and we did enjoy these too although we did find some of the acrobatics and stunt ones tricky to watch (in a good but scary way!) If you stay at this hotel we would definitely recommend going to the Aperol pool party which they held on one of the afternoons we were there, it was a lot of fun!
Resort Staff All the staff were very helpful and friendly throughout both the hotel and wet n wild area. We were served drinks at our evening entertainment table nearly every evening we were there by Alper. He learnt our drink preferences very quickly and made sure we were never without a beverage in hand!
Accommodation We stayed in the riverside apartments which were fairly modern and very clean however if we visited again we would choose to stay in the main building for more convenience of being closer to everything. Rooms are cleaned well daily, towels changed and the drinks in the fridge restocked. We felt the only thing missing from our accommodation was a full length mirror which is quite a minor thing but we would have preferred having this for when getting ready to go out in the evenings.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Aska Lara Resort and would consider staying there again.
Good family vacation with a lot to keep the kids entertained
We visited Aska Lara for the first time this year.
We read mixed things about the hotel but I want to give my honest opinion.
Firstly we took a 6 year old and a 19 month old and I have to say the kids club and entertainment team were brilliant. Always had so many activities on for the kids in the day and the mini disco was great, my kids loved it.
They loved the day time activities such as pizza making, cookie making and make your own bracelet.
The food was good, especially at lunch time down at the wet and wild where you could choose from a menu.
The slides and slash park at the wet and wild was also a bonus as it kept the kids busy!
Overall I would really recommend this hotel if you want to keep the kids busy and entertained.
