⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Sherwood Lara – The Best Family Holiday Experience!**
Sherwood Lara is simply the best from head to toe! Every member of staff we met, from Guest Relations, Reception, Lobby, Bar, Restaurant, Housekeeping, Gardening and Entertainment, was absolutely brilliant. They were always there to make you feel comfortable, happy and able to enjoy your holiday. If you want to be treated as though you are truly in paradise, do not hesitate to book your holiday at Sherwood Lara. The care, support and hospitality provided by the staff go above and beyond. I stayed at Sherwood Lara with my two young children as a family of four, together with my sister and her family, and we all absolutely loved it. It was honestly the best hotel holiday experience we have ever had. Of course, there are a few things I wasn’t completely happy with, and I think it is only fair to mention them. Having to pay for the doctor can be disappointing, especially when travelling with children, as unexpected situations can happen. Also, considering the size of the hotel, having only three main lifts can sometimes be challenging during busy hours. There is also limited airflow inside the lifts and around some of the corridors, which can make it uncomfortable when the weather is hot. Apart from these points, we were extremely happy with our stay, especially because of the wonderful staff. They are friendly, supportive, approachable, excellent problem-solvers and provide outstanding hospitality. ❤️ A Special Thank You to the Amazing Staff A very special thank you to all the lovely ladies from Guest Relations, especially Ayse and Mustafa Selcuk. You were always there to support us, listen to us and help find solutions whenever we needed them. Many thanks to the Reception team, who were always ready to help and find solutions for us. A big thank you to Nur from the Lobby for her kindness and wonderful service. A very special thank you to Melisa, who was incredibly speedy, friendly and especially lovely when serving our children. Her kindness really made a difference to our experience. Many thanks to Esra from the Pastry Shop, who made us lovely Turkish coffee and tea and always served us with such warmth and a smile. A huge thank you to Filiz from Housekeeping. She is one of the hardest-working people we met and always made sure our room was spotless. She really made us feel comfortable and at home. And a very special thank you to Haydar Abi, who from the first day until our last day made our stay so comfortable and easy. Whenever we needed help around the pool area, he was there to assist us and provide seats whenever we needed them. His kindness and dedication meant a lot to our family. Ceren and Sema, many thanks to both of you for your great support and kindness. And finally, to all the wonderful staff whose names I haven’t mentioned — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are all amazing people who work incredibly hard to make guests comfortable, happy and able to enjoy their holiday. It wasn’t only the delicious food, fantastic entertainment and live music that made our holiday special. It was the people. Gorgeous hotel, lovely atmosphere. Fab time
We came for 5 nights / 6 days. Absolutely loved the hotel. The staff are so attentive. So helpful and want to make everyone's holiday enjoyable. The atmosphere in the hotel is so relaxed and lovely. The rooms are spacious and the cleaning is exceptional. Amazing hotel. Lots of shops nearby. We will be returning.
Best for families
It was a pleasure to be here with our kids. Every day the organised something very interesting programs for kids and for adults also.

Don’t book!
This hotel is just awful, checked into little info from reception then a filthy room. I told guest relations and they told me the manager would talk to me in the morning. I went in the morning and got a cheeky rude guest relations lady (brown long bob) that basically laughed at me and said “you know what you booked” They reluctantly moved us to another room but did not apologise, we wasted our first day moving etc. the hotel is worn, cracks everywhere and leaks. Food is mediocre and drinks are horrible I’m yet to get a sparkling wine that’s not flat. After 5 days the manager finally asked to see me and offered freebies, I walk away in disgust at the fact they took 5 days to talk to me. We didn’t get our visit to one of the restaurants as you need to book 4 days in advance which we were not told. On the check out day I looked under the bed, I was scared to look before then as I round he able to sleep if it was bad. I was right to do that as it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a year, thick with dust and bits under the beds, disgusting! They don’t clean around the pool, we sat at same area and the same dirty umbrella was not cleaned within 5 days, the buckets were not emptied and there was always food etc under the beds left. My tour operator queried with the hotel and the hotel lied and said they did everything they could to make our stay good and I even showed my appreciation to them which was not true, when they offered freebies I literally walked away in disgust and said no. This is NOT a 5 star it’s a 3 star at best, don’t waste your money!
