Titanic Mardan Palace

Last day here had a wonderful stay. The staff can’t do enough for you, all friendly and helpful. Yes there are updates needed if you look around but didn’t deter from my stay. In particular, I would like to say a special thank you to Murat Yuksel, and Yagmur for their kind assistance. We also had a lovely evening in the Turkish A La Carte, well worth a visit.

Where to start. From the second we walked in we were greeted so warmly. Given a glass of Prosecco each while sorting check in. We were then taken to our room with a huge balcony over looking the pool. One of our main concerns was the temperature of the pool. A few times we’ve been to other resorts and the pool has been freezing but at Mardan they are tepid. Maybe slightly cool once you get in but acclimate within seconds and is a welcome escape from the hot sun! The food is incredible. I am usually veggie when I go on holiday as I’m weird with meat but I’ve eaten chicken, steak, veal and sucuk while we’ve been here as the food is just perfect. Italian à la carte was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Everything fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection. All staff are so polite and helpful and we have made a new friend in Yakup, one of the pool waiters. Leon from the spa is lovely too and even though we’ve had a lovely massage, will still make the effort to wish us a good morning and ask how we are. All alcohol is branded from Smirnoff to Grey Goose vodka. Lagavulin, Tanqueray, Bombay Sapphire. Top shelf brandys too that you can order through and app from your sun lounger. Delivered within minutes from a waiter / waitress on roller skates. The whole place is spotlessly clean and the staff work tirelessly to ensure it remains so. The lady in the arcade bar (I forget her name) will always come over and say hello and greeted me with a big hug this evening and even joined us on the next lane for a game of bowling and a chat. All arcade games are free including bowling, pool, air hockey, sit on racing games, basketball hoops and whack a mole. We really have enjoyed our stay and don’t want to go home but duty calls! Absolutely no go! Absolutely no luxury!

4 stars maximum!!!

0* First day something brown on the toilet sit!!! In front and on back of it!

3* Service is not taught to work at all, sometimes you get a cup with no plate, sometimes they just don't speak English. They look at you as if you were their enemy. Only 2-3 of them were serving correctly.

1* Special word for a la cart aquamarin. Don't go there! You have to pay extra for bad taste and desert from main restaurant just to see a couple of fishes in the walls. The service takes your plates right from front of you away and changes plates. It is not you who decides how long you eat. After they will come to you for to ask to rate them on tripadvisor. My rate 1*

3* In general middle/bad taste of food. Every day spitting some bones out or not properly prepared vegetables.

Bread is ok.

3* Every day a room issue: the light is so awful you cannot do anything in your room after sun went down. The mirror for make up is somewhere down you have to stand on your four to look into. The scales not functioning. Minibar doesn't add sweetener. Shower broken.

2* No matter how often you speak to reception they don't care about your comfort and don't even say they are sorry.

Hostess mostly stands with her phone ignoring guests. Sometimes she says even hello in random languages. Take a robot instead, it will work better.

!!! Some Elevators Buttons are opened broken. LIFE DANGER

0* If you talk to Service in english they not only ignore you, they Turn with their back to you!!!

2* No idea about the cocktails. In the Main Restaurant Service tries to lie to you bringing cheap cognac instead of good one. Cocktails are not only mixed unprofessionally but even having not the ingredients they should. Specialities taste like pure lemon Juice.

1* Tower Bar Barmen ignores the guests who are enjoying music from hotel , stands with his back right near and looks his instagramm loudly.

1* Almost in the end of the journey it came out I had to have guest relation. Hotel was not presented, i had to discover everything by myself where and what. Reception just pointed on to QR Code. Bellboys point you with Finger where is which room when you come from downstairs.

5* The evening Animation is very very good. Mykonos Club is the good place with no good drinks. If you want to drink you can do it only in the lobby. Special thanks to animators of the Disco mykonos. They saved my holidays. Also thanks to Muhammed from Aegean restaurant. He was the ONLY Service person who did his job absolutely perfectly.

2* Main restaurant has sticky spoons for every warm food. Room has no paper Towels. Internet connection is unstable on the beach and even sometimes in Hotel.

4* Evening show goes right into your eyes what damages them also!

1* After feeling badly after aquamarin guest relation says: " I eat there also every day and I am ok".

0* The Internet page which contains the Programm is very bad, you need a long time to understand it. Sometimes it is just off and doesnt work, sometimes the Programm is not inside. Why not an app???

In general I feel back to 90-s where everybody was happy about at least some food. But in reality it looks good on outside, like a nice candy but when you open it up - it is definitely not a candy inside!

People who come to this hotel are also not from a class. Don't go there if you are a woman! Following you and not letting go in the evening time. Not safe!

On every step hotel tries to charge you money: for Sits, for a la cart (which have the same taste as Main Restaurant) and from different people different amount. How do you count? And be very careful with massages: they charge a price × 3 and if you start to say no they go with the price down!!! They don't let you rest after your massage but start talking to you what do you need because you have some problems with your body which are not even logical! They lie to people hoping they are not educated!

5* Photoshooting Studio is the new opened one. They make very good fotos. Thanks to them separetely.

5* many thanks to all animators. Daytime, nighttime they are working all good: darts, Boccia, Sports and dancing at night. They are giving their best in bad conditions!
