I was a bit dubious after I booked this holiday due to the vast mix of reviews so every day I’ve listed points, both good and bad, to help others!

Breakfast, lunch & dinner can be difficult at times. They definitely don’t have enough tables & chairs in comparison to the amount of guests here - suggest going a lot later instead of when it opens as you end up queuing before you even get to the food and then there are no tables. There also aren’t too many meat options either in my opinion.

Eating at the pool is slightly confusing. We saw lots of people eating lunch at the pool on our first day - we followed suit. We then got told off for doing it but others didn’t. But then nobody says anything when you can have snacks at the pool (which also includes taking plates out)? But their argument was no food at the pool so that was a bit off putting but nonetheless it’s fine, just don’t eat your lunch there!

The juice in the morning is honestly awful. I’m not a huge water drinker and I resulted in just having water. There is cherry, pineapple, apple & orange juice and they honestly taste like pure undiluted squash - they are overly sweet & sickly!

Drink wise is a bit naff. I saw this same point made on multiple reviews - as someone that doesn’t really drink but when I do I predominately have cocktails…they are not cocktails. A ridiculous amount of syrup and some alcohol. For soft drinks they have sprite, Pepsi, Fanta Orange (which isn’t what you expect fyi), tonic water and ice teas. There is beer (Efes) on tap and you can also have gin, vodka mixed.

Exchange rate is better outside the hotel as expected (you get about 10L more per £1)

Staff are helpful if you have any problems eg. We had a leaking toilet and they sent someone up to check straight away.

I found the hotel clean and tidy (coming from someone that is a bit of a clean freak). Staff are always circling to take away empty drinks/plates from both the pool area and dining hall and I found they’re all helpful.

Usual towel brigade saga in the mornings. Enough sunbeds to go around but it is quite a cramped area. I also found that there were SO MANY sunbeds that were empty for hours on end but had towels etc..on them. I think this could be manned a bit better. I’m all for leaving your things while you go in the pool/play with your kids in the pool/have dinner etc…but people had them on for hours and we didn’t see them until middle of the day when they then come in fully clothed so they’d obviously been out somewhere. There are also no umbrellas at all so you have to use the trees for shade which I also found a bit of a pain (mainly because people wouldn’t return to sunbeds for hours and they tended to always be the ones in the shaded part)

Pool with slides is good as it’s only on during parts of the day so it’s not constant - it’s also not too loud (not as bad as I thought anyway). It can get quite busy in there though but again, still enough room for you.

I don’t really know why people have moaned about the food if I’m honest. You’re not going to get what you get from whichever country you’ve travelled from. There is plenty of food to choose from, you’ll definitely find something you like and it’s varied each day. Breakfast pancakes are incredible too…definitely recommend and there are plenty of toppings to choose from (honey, jams, chocolate etc…). However what I will say is that a dress code should definitely apply. I’ve seen people barefoot in the evenings, tops off etc…

They do a disco every night for kids at half 8 and have entertainment each night and darts in the day (11am & 4pm) - not my cup of tea but they welcome anyone/everyone to join. Foam party (an hour I believe) on a Wednesday. They do it in the main pool so we just went in the other one.

Some boisterous kids in the pool and they were told off by someone who worked here firmly. I found this good as it put some people (including myself as have a 10 & 9 year old) off going in as they were fully grown teens/young adults jumping in/lobbing footballs around. They were told off multiple times throughout our stay and eventually it seemed to have sunk in.

Be cautious of wandering around the pool…the tiles can be incredibly slippery

Pool with slide isn’t manned. There is supposedly someone who monitors it but definitely isn’t. When the slides are turned off, the kids are filling cups up to pour down the slide. On day 3, 2 kids collided on the head and nobody was to be see. Another parent went over to the one boy to see if he was okay. I think there should be someone that monitors, especially as one has slides.

Lots of shops local for snacks instead of buying in hotel shop (although they aren’t expensive in the hotel shop)

15 minute walk to the monuments and beach. Local market every Saturday at the monuments too. Didn’t try the beach as were warned my multiple people it was very busy. Monuments are incredible though, definitely recommend a trip to them but the town in the centre is incredibly busy - it was like a flood of people so we didn’t go straight down to the middle

Staff are lovely (quite a grumpy/rude man on the drinks though but he warmed up a few days in) - very safe hotel, have left phones, iPads, earbuds etc…by the pool while going for food and it’s all there

Towels aren’t changed regularly but that wasn’t a problem - you don’t change them every day at home so I don’t know why some people moan about this. As long as you keep them clean there’s no problem (I did see on day 4 people taking them to the pool though which I thought you couldn’t do) I dried them throughout the day on the balcony while we used our towels for the pool

Rooms are cleaned daily - not the bedding though but again, wasn’t a problem. Cleaners are so lovely & kind - always acknowledge/say hello to you when they see you

No toilet paper can go down the toilets which some people may find a pain but we were used to it with different holidays we’d been on. Bins are emptied regularly and hotel room ones are changed every day.

Lovely restaurants around the hotel (on the way to the monuments/beach) if you wanted to eat out - all accept Apple Pay too so don’t worry if you don’t have cash. Highly recommend Hermes Garden & Antique Restaurant

I personally wouldn’t go back here as it wasn’t my cup of tea but it was one of the better ones available at such last minute. If you’re looking for a budget friendly all inclusive that’s within walking distance to places then it will do for you.

An amazing place with fantastic service. I recommend visiting for a beautiful holiday with family. The hospitality is 10/10!
