Thanks Verbena!!
What a fantastic week. This was a very last minute decision, but we absolutely made the right one. My wife and I came for a few days away for our 20th anniversary - and Trendy Verbena Beach did not disappoint.
The staff are super friendly, the food was great and the hotel facilities were excellent.
We lounged around the pool (just reserve a bed by about 7:30am). We had a massage. We shopped at the local mall (only about a 10 min walk - but go in the evening). We also visited the Old Town (about €15 one way). The hotel also offered a complimentary meal in one of their a-la-carte restaurants.
We stayed in Rm 4108 and the location was perfect - not far to walk to the pool, hotel or the gym!
Evening entertainment was great as were the activities during the day. But the staff are the real difference. So friendly, polite and helpful.
I would come here again in a heart beat. In fact, next year I think we’ll bring the kids ….. maybe!
Amazing stay at Trendy Verbena Beach!
Trendy Verbena beach has been an absolute delight. The first thing you notice is the cleanliness and care that everyone takes seriously. The rooms, restaurants, bars, pools and public areas are always kept spotless!
The staff at the hotel from check-in, guest relations, waiters/ waitresses, servers, cleaners etc are ever so friendly. Everyone is keen to chat and advise. The staff are what really sets this hotel apart and offers a sense of trust. They work extremely hard and always try to remember your favourite drinks.
The personal touch goes such a long way and we were not disappointed. So much so, that we met a wonderful young man called Aydin who was currently in training in the restaurant (sweeping/ cleaning). He greeted us with a smile each time and even spoke about football! There is a language barrier but everyone speaks English or will go to lengths to ensure you are happy with the service. We wish Aydin the very best of luck in all he does, he was a real asset to the hotel and took pride in his work.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary during our stay and the hotel gave us a lovely bottle of wine and fruit platter, again such a lovely gesture!
The facilities are perfect. We had a massage in the hotels spa which was amazing! There is food, drinks and snacks available at all times. There is a wide variety of food to cater for all tastes however my only point would be that there was not much for vegetarian guests at dinner time. I don’t eat meat or fish so it was quite restricted to rice and vegetables which can feel repetitive when eating this daily! I fed this back to guest relations who was keen to look into this and see what can be added to the food choices.
The rooms are lovely with great facilities. We stayed in room 4108 and the location and view from the balcony were brilliant. The separate shower and toilet work very well and the sink area as you enter offers a great additional space. The light up mirror was very handy too. The decor in the room was lovely and modern, the large bed was super comfortable too.
We spent a lot of time by to pool. We never had a problem getting a sun lounger and lifeguards were on duty all the time to ensure everyone’s safety. There were also trainee staff around the pool area who took pride in serving drinks and offering cold towels to help cool off from the heat.
The evening entertainment had a good mix of shows and music and then onto the bar afterwards. The beach party was great fun too and was impressively set up. The animation team try hard to get everyone involved and dancing!
We have been to Turkey many times and this hotel has certainly left a wonderful, lasting impression. This time round was a break just for me and my husband to celebrate our anniversary but - we are booking again for next year and bringing our teenage children and parents…there is something here for all ages!
Upon check-out we chatted to Berrin (guest relations manager). Berrin was keen to hear our views about our stay and offered her assistance to support our trip next year. Again, a lovely personal touch to have a key contact at the hotel. Berrin’s interest in our views was motivated by her passion to get it right for all guests!
Thank you to the team at Trendy Verbena Beach for the hospitality and memories. This hotel is an absolute gem within Side and deserves every recognition possible to celebrate the hotel and the hard working, dedicated team.

Thank you Trendy Verbena Beach for our great holiday. Food was good. Cleannes of the hotel was great. Guest relations and reception were great. Darya from Guest Relations was very helpful, and reception helped to choose better room. Our small girl liked milkshakes and ice-cream. For the kids there were a lot of activities, but there were not so many kids who speak Russian, so our Alica was a bit bored, but she enjoyed just like us. We will come definitely back!
Our 8th Stay – and Another Well-Deserved 5-Star Review!
This was our eighth stay at Trendy Verbena Beach, and once again we are delighted to leave another positive review. For many years now, we have started our summer holidays here before moving on to the more active part of our trip elsewhere. We simply couldn't imagine a better place to relax, recharge, and begin our vacation. At Trendy Verbena Beach, a truly restful holiday is guaranteed.
The first thing that strikes you as soon as you walk into the hotel is the incredible level of cleanliness. You won't find a single speck of dust anywhere, whether in your room or in the communal areas. The housekeeping team does an outstanding job, and the immaculate standards are maintained throughout the property every single day.
Another aspect that makes this hotel so special is its exceptional staff. Everyone, from the housekeeping team to the waiters, bartenders, and restaurant staff, is genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. The level of service is remarkable - everything is efficient, and you never have to wait for anything. The staff consistently go above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and appreciated.
The food has always been one of the hotel's strongest points, but what impresses us even more is that the management never stops looking for ways to improve. Despite already offering excellent cuisine, we noticed several positive changes compared to previous years. The beautifully renovated patisserie is a fantastic addition, serving delicious coffee along with a wonderful selection of pastries, including excellent viennoiseries. We were also pleased to see a significant improvement in the food and snack selection at both the Beach Bar and the Pool Bar.
We would especially like to thank Maryem and the entire Blue Bar team for their outstanding service, fantastic cocktails, and the warm, friendly atmosphere they create every day. Spending our evenings there has become one of our favourite holiday traditions. 🥰
A special mention also goes to Semra, who works tirelessly to keep the Beach Bar area spotlessly clean. The result is truly phenomenal and deserves great recognition! ♥️
Last but certainly not least, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Berin, the Guest Relations Manager, for taking our accommodation preferences into account, for her understanding, kindness, and exceptional professionalism. Her attention to detail and genuine care for returning guests make a real difference.
Once again, our stay at Trendy Verbena Beach exceeded our expectations. After eight wonderful holidays here, we can confidently say that this hotel continues to set the standard for hospitality, cleanliness, service, and continuous improvement. Without any doubt, we will begin our next summer holiday here once again.

Year After Year… Still the Best Decision We Make
From July 6th to July 19th, 2026, we had the pleasure of returning once again to our beloved Trendy Verbena Beach. After so many wonderful stays over the years, this hotel has become so much more than just a holiday destination. Every return feels special, and every goodbye becomes a little harder.
Each year we ask ourselves whether our holiday could possibly be even better than the last one. And somehow, every single year, this incredible team proves that it can.
Our holiday actually began long before we arrived.
It all started with one simple request – our favourite room 1201. Once again, the wonderful Berrin Sonmez made our wish come true. She didn’t just arrange our favourite room; she made us feel special before our holiday had even begun. Thank you, Berrin, for always taking such wonderful care of your guests.
When we arrived at the hotel at around 11:00 a.m., another lovely surprise was waiting for us. The amazing reception team welcomed us with genuine smiles, checked us in immediately, and our room was already waiting for us. After a long journey, this meant more than words can express.
A huge thank you also goes to the luggage porter and every single member of the reception team. You are all incredibly kind, welcoming, professional, and always smiling. You don’t simply check guests into a hotel—you make them feel like they are coming home.
And that is exactly what makes Trendy Verbena Beach so special.
A heartfelt thank you goes to our wonderful housekeeper Guendam, who took such incredible care of room 1201. Every single day our room was spotless, beautifully prepared, and cared for with so much attention to detail. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.
The kitchen was once again outstanding, but one person deserves a very special mention—Chef Seyfi.

The best.
Every dish he prepared reflected passion, talent, and genuine love for his profession. Seeing him again was one of the highlights of our holiday.
We would also like to congratulate the new Executive Chefs. Taking over such a respected kitchen is never easy, but they have done an outstanding job. They have maintained the exceptional quality of the food while bringing fresh ideas and energy. They truly deserve great recognition.
The entire restaurant team was exceptional.
It was such a pleasure to see familiar faces again.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Cesar, Ismail Kilinç, and Sevda Oz. Your professionalism, kindness, smiles, and genuine care made every meal something to look forward to. Seeing you again after another year felt like meeting old friends.
And Ismail… thank you not only for your outstanding service but also for preparing some of the best mojitos we’ve ever had!
A special thank you also goes to Mehmet Yildiz, whose professionalism and leadership create such a wonderful atmosphere throughout the restaurant team. And of course to Rifat, who is always welcoming, smiling, and such an important part of the Verbena family.
Our evenings at the Blue Bar were, without question, among the best moments of our holiday.
A huge thank you to Samet, whose cocktails were absolutely outstanding. His mojitos are simply the best—perfectly prepared every single time with passion, precision, and a smile.
During our final week, Samet was joined by an amazing waitress whose name, unfortunately, we cannot remember. We are truly sorry about that because she absolutely deserves to be mentioned. She was cheerful, kind, hardworking, and full of positive energy. Together they created such a wonderful atmosphere that every evening at the Blue Bar became unforgettable.
One of the absolute highlights of our holiday was the Cocktail Workshop, organised by Rifat, Samet, and the fantastic Guest Relations team. It was fun, educational, and full of laughter. A special thank you to Berrin and Muamer for making experiences like this possible and for always making guests feel appreciated and part of the Verbena family.
We would also like to express our deepest admiration for every single waiter and bartender working at the Beach Bar.
Every one of you deserves enormous respect.
Working long hours in the intense Turkish summer heat is certainly not easy, yet every single day you welcomed guests with kindness, smiles, patience, and professionalism. Your hard work often goes unnoticed, but not by us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
The beach team also deserves special recognition. The two gentlemen who take care of the sunbeds work tirelessly every day and are always ready to help with a smile. Together with the wonderful Sempra, they make every beach day comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable.
As always, we also visited the HAMAM, which has become one of our favourite traditions. Once again, we were welcomed with warm smiles and excellent care. It remains the perfect place to relax, recharge, and enjoy another level of Verbena’s exceptional hospitality.
Another beautiful surprise this year was the newly renovated Patisserie. It looks absolutely stunning—modern, elegant, cosy, and full of delicious cakes, desserts, and wonderful coffee. It is another perfect example of how the hotel continues to improve while preserving the atmosphere that makes it so special.
We also heard that another renovation is planned for next year and is expected to last around three months. If that’s true, we are genuinely excited to see what improvements await us. Knowing the Verbena team, we are certain everything will be done with the same care and attention to detail that we have admired for so many years.
We simply cannot wait to see what 2027 will bring.
There is only one small thing that makes us a little sad.
Over the years, some of the familiar faces we came to know and care about are no longer here. Of course, we understand that this is simply part of life, and everyone follows their own path. We only hope that the wonderful people who make Verbena so special will stay for many years to come, because they truly are the heart of this hotel.
Every year we ask ourselves the same question.
What makes Trendy Verbena Beach so special?
It isn’t just the beautiful gardens.
It isn’t only the spotless rooms.
It isn’t the delicious food.
It isn’t the amazing cocktails.
It is the people.
The people who remember your name.
The people who remember your favourite drink.
The people who are genuinely happy to see you again.
The people who welcome you not as guests, but as friends.
The people who make every single stay feel like coming home.
That is something money can never buy.
