Selene Beach & Spa is located 105 km to Antalya Airport, 65 km to Alanya - Gazipaşa Airport, 22 km to Alanya and 2 km from Avsallar. Our hotel is near the sea, our beach is within an ancient port dating from 200 BC.
Our facility has 199 standard rooms, 2 accesible rooms, 3 Suite rooms, a total of 204 rooms. In our rooms everything has been considered for the comfort and convenience of you and your family and prepared with modern design. All rooms are equipped with shower, WC, shower, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, minibar, air conditioning, free safe, TV / satellite music channels, free wireless internet, balcony.
Our hotel has one main restaurant and A'la Carte Restaurant. Pool Bar, Lobby Bar and Beach Bar are available to our guests.

“A Wonderful Second Stay at Selene Beach”

Our second visit to Selene Beach — and we loved it just as much this time!
We had another fantastic holiday at Selene Beach and were so pleased to return. The hotel was clean, well looked after and, as before, the staff were absolutely lovely. Everyone works incredibly hard to make sure guests have an enjoyable holiday, and it really does show. Nothing seemed too much trouble.
We had no problems at all getting sunbeds during our September stay, although perhaps that was partly because we visited later in the season. The whole atmosphere was relaxed and just what we wanted from a holiday.
I have to admit that I’m extremely fussy with food, so I did struggle a little with the food choices — but that is much more about my own fussiness than the quality or effort put into the food! 😂 There was always plenty available, and I’m sure most people would find lots to enjoy.
One thing I do feel I should mention is that my husband was served chicken that was still raw in the middle. We mentioned this to our holiday representative, although we didn’t raise it directly with the hotel. Thankfully it was an isolated incident and didn’t spoil our overall holiday, but I do feel it’s worth mentioning as food safety is important.
One thing I really hope the hotel continues to look after is the lovely cats around the resort, especially the mummy and her seven kittens. They are such a special part of Selene Beach, and we loved seeing them. Please keep feeding them and, if possible, consider continuing to work towards getting them spayed/neutered. It would make such a difference to their welfare and help control the number of kittens being born. 🐱❤️
We absolutely love Selene Beach and are already looking forward to coming back again. Thank you to everyone who works so hard behind the scenes and in front of guests to make Selene such a lovely place to stay.

Awesome hotel, food and staff - will miss all of it!
Superb hotel, awesome food and fantastic staff. Tried this place for the first time this year and were really impressed. The hotel looks superb, is very well kept and very clean and the staff are all very friendly and attentive. It's the perfect size as well, not big and unwieldy like some that were nearby.
The food choice and quality in the restaurant for all meals was excellent, best we've experienced to date and with my wife being celiac she often struggles with food options - not here! Staff were knowledgeable and helpful and I've not seen her eat so much and so well for years! Will miss that food especially the baklava!
The coffee shop in the hotel is great with cakes and ice creams as well as great coffee available - not open all day but most of it.
We opted to upgrade our room to a suite (as it was a joint birthday treat for ourselves) and we were really pleased we did (room 624 if you're interested, right next to the Spa) as the balcony was huge with 2 loungers and an egg chair as well as the room splitting into a living and sleeping area. The cost to us for 2 weeks for this upgrade was £450 if you're interested, but as a treat was well worth it.
The pool is great but we spent most of our 14 days on the beach which is literally 100 yards away so only spent the end of the day there for half an hour or so. The pool area does suffer the usual 'towels at dawn' brigade which is sad and annoying in equal measure - we were up early and saw folks dropping towels at 6.30 and 7.00am and then tootling off for ages! The beach area allocated to the hotel (which we only discovered when we got there) is smaller than the brochure (and some website photos) led us to believe. Not a major headache but it does mean it can get cramped and other beds are close to yours. Sea is lovely and warm and pretty salty so you can bob around in it for ages!
Close to the hotel were quite a few shops selling the usual Turkish delights - bags, clothes etc, all the usual knock off names and all at prices well below normal. Beware that what they show you is what you get as we fell foul of this on one occasion with some 'branded' boxers - were shown some high quality items only to find back at the hotel that the ones in the bag were of dubious quality! The bags seemed better though. Be prepared to haggle hard and tell them to get stuffed if they hassle! You'll also find that most shops sell exactly the same stuff - all from the same containers I guess.
The pharmacies stock everything on the planet and you can get prescription items over the counter as well of lots of other stuff too - cool to stock up for the UK.
The only fly in the ointment I guess would be the nighttime noise from the hotel(s) nearby. With this being an adults only 'spa' hotel we were hoping for a bit of peace and quiet to some degree (not total silence) for that ultimate chill holiday but the hotel next door blares music until 11.30pm so if you've had a heavy day on the beach and crash about 10.30pm you ain't getting to sleep straight away! If you're up for a party though you'll love it!
The gym in the hotel is really good and we spent the early part of the day in there trying to escape the clutches of time! Plenty of free weights, benches and equipment to keep anyone happy plus bottled water in the well stocked fridge. In fact there was free bottled water all round the hotel to take at any time, very handy and a nice touch.
Forgot that Turkish hotels are tip oriented so had to pull out a few Euros to grease the palms of a few waiters and beach staff. Worth it though as you got stronger measures and better treatment in the restaurant - all part of the game!
Overall we'd give this place a solid 8.5 out of 10 only losing those extra marks for the smallish beach area and noisy neighbours. If we could transplant this hotel somewhere quieter it would easily be a 10 as the hotel itself, food and staff are a solid 10 on their own.
