Aquasis De Luxe Resort

We returned yesterday from a 10 day family stay at Aquasis. As before any location you are visiting for the first time you never really know what to expect.

I have to say every element to our holiday was absolutely brilliant. The hotel itself is big and really clean, with the staff in general extremely helpful and polite.

Our party of 8 was also upgraded for free to a private villa after a few days, which was incredible.

I have two kids who are aged two and six and the hotel is perfect for kids of this age. Whether it be the water park and slides or the kids club and play area there is so much to keep them entertained, with the entertainment team making a real effort with them.

The food in the main buffet is tasty, with there being a wide variety of choice, like most all inclusive resorts going an getting the food from the actual buffet can be a bit chaotic but that is nothing to do with the hotel more the lack of common manners from some other guests.

We used our Al la Carte meals at the Asian and Itallian both of which were really nice. You can also have lunch at the Italian free or charge any day between 12 and 5 something not everyone must have been aware of as it was never that busy.

Me and my wife also hired one of the cabanas down on the water front one day which I would definitely recommend, it is lovely down there and the personal waiter gets whatever you want when you want it.

Overall I would highly recomend this hotel in general but especially for a family with young children. If we return to Turkey in the future it will highly likely be a return to Aquasis.

One of the main concerns I had prior to going after reading reviews on here, was about the all inclusive drinks package.

There are a fair few international brands that aren't included in it, however Havana Rum, Smirnoff Vodka, Gordon's gin and Jack Daniels to name a few are included, I personally drink Rum or beer in the main and every single bar had Havana Rum and the Efes draught was also nicer than some other hotels I have stayed in, especially in the bars were sold in a glass, it is also noted you just need to ask for the branded option and that the lobby bar had a the widest variety of international branded drinks. Also simple manners of a please and thank you and even the littlest of tips goes a long long way with the bar staff at all bars.

The beach bar and Lobby bar also made really nice cocktails were the bar staff had a bit more time to take their time in making them as opposed to the pool bar which was the busiest, with the beach bar being a really enjoyable location both day and night, with a DJ and dance floor on the beach at night.

The night time entertainment was a bit mixed but the kids loved the kids disco every night and the African night is genuinely brilliant, we watched this show on both Friday evening's of our stay.
