Going to start with something good and that is just 2 or 3 members of staff here plus the beautiful location and the cleanliness of the hotel. Cuba, one of the photographers, cannot be praised enough and if it wasn't for him we probably would have waited until next week to get a drink at the outdoor bar. He has made our stay so much fun and took amazing photographs of us which we can take home and treause. Ali, one of the outdoor bar workers, was also a top man! Never even had to ask for a drink as he knew what we liked and would just pour them as we approached. As for the rest of them, they're just rude, ignorant and although they say theres a queue even if you queue you dont get served.
Last night we ordered room service as we'd had a long day on a boat trip. After working out how to use the app it didnt send us a text confirmation to confirm. I called reception, they said they would deal with it and put the phone down. Didn't hear anything further and ended up having to head down to reception to them wait for the chef to be called and order through him. No biggy but checking out today we were overcharged for room service that we didnt even fully get!!!! Defeats the whole point of room service if you have to go downstairs to order it.
I'm a recovering patient of the big C and this holiday was to celebrate the end of a crap year (which i made staff aware of on arrival) but to be honest if it wasn't for 2 decent staff members and the fact its a lovely room and sea view I would struggle to recommend to others.
Sorry, one other mention to the worker whose name i dont know but she did book us a night at the a la carte Italian so shout out to her too! I wouldnt really call it a la carte though to be honest but it was a lovely gesture all the same!

Beautiful hotel, amazing facilities and stunning location
We had such a wonderful holiday, the hotel is beautiful and the location and scenery is out of this world. Staff cannot do enough to help. Kuba, one of the photographers, is the friendliest guy you'll ever meet and it was a pleasure chatting to him daily around the pool. The hotel is clean and definitely has the wow factor. Food and alcohol are served 24hrs a day and there's something for all tastes. We would definitely return and cannot fault anything.

Starting from the beginning. This hotel is definitely not worth 5 stars at this moment. Cleanliness of this hotel I would say was at max very mid. Rooms and the dining place were clean that's a fact, but swimming pool area or the tables in public space were very poorly cleaned. If we are talking about food then mainly I Would say it was a Salad Hotel. Lots of variations for vegans but if You are looking for a hotel with really good food Im not sure if this is the right place for You. Mainly Turkish dishes with meat that in my opinion are not the go to option for European people meals pallet. You can see that the hotel is trying to save money with the dishes they are serving. Poor meat variety and mainly everything was the same everyday. Overall I cannot say that there wasn't anything to choose from because there was a lot of food but in my opinion it wasn't a high end dining option and definitely not for someone who is used to meat dishes. Staff I don't have any complaints. It would be good if the staff that has contact with visitors would be able to speak English more fluently. Another fact is that try not to lose anything at the swimming pool because You will get a respond from the manager that its hard to check anything on cameras because it is dark. Our luck was that the item wasn't too expensive. Location was beautiful. A lot of beautiful sights, beautiful sea that is directly with the hotel so You don't need to go anywhere outside the hotel. In the bar there were served cheap alcohols and only when You ask for a better import option there is a bigger possibility to get a good drink. Overall I don't won't to criticise too much because there is a lot of hard working people in this hotel (huge respect for the old staff man that was cooking Turkish bread all the time) but taking into account the description of the hotel written on the website and what we saw on site I just want to write this opinion so people know what they are buying. To argument my opinion just look at the photos and consider your conclusions yourself.

We had an amazing family holiday at the Laur Hotel in Turkey! We came as a family of six and had such a wonderful time from start to finish.
The hotel has luxurious facilities and is in a fantastic location, with so many beautiful areas to explore throughout the complex, including the private beach. Everywhere was clean and well maintained, and our rooms were cleaned every day, which made our stay feel even more comfortable and relaxing.
The views are absolutely picturesque, with stunning scenery around the resort and beautiful places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The food was nice, and we really appreciated the good time allocations for the different dining options. Our favourite was definitely the Italian restaurant, especially because of the beautiful sea views — such a lovely setting for a meal!
The entertainment was amazing and there was always something enjoyable going on. A special mention to Ariana, whose yoga sessions were fantastic. She was so helpful and made the yoga experience really enjoyable. We also want to thank Cuba, who was incredibly friendly and took some great photos for us — we really appreciated it!
There’s plenty to enjoy at the hotel, but if you fancy exploring outside the resort, the town is just a short and cheap taxi ride away. There are some great shops, lovely restaurants and a delicious bakery that is definitely worth a visit.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience as a family of six and would definitely recommend the Laur Hotel to other families / couples. We made some lovely memories and would absolutely come again!
