We stopped one week at the hotel and it was a really wonderful holiday experience. We have stayed at two previous fully inclusive hotels in Turkey prior to this which were both great but this was by far the best we have stopped at. From arrival we were greeted, checked in and taken to our room which was on the 5th level with a balcony that overlooked Gumbet bay. The room was spacious with plenty of storage and a free to use security safe. The bathroom had a lovely large shower cubicle with good water pressure. The room was cleaned daily and on my birthday they went the extra mile with a lovely surprise of towel swans, flower heads and the words ‘I love you’ made with them along with fruit and a very nice bottle of red wine and two crystal glasses on the double bed. It really made us smile and feel that the staff & hotel really cared about their customers. The site was a good size with plenty of facilities with numerous bars, restaurants, a bakery, swim and sunbathing platforms, private beach and a main pool area with plenty of sun beds and a relax pool which was quiet and also a slide park, volleyball pitch, tennis courts and plenty of activities for young and old along with an on-site spa and gym. The self service restaurant was really clean and the food offerings excellent and varied on different days. There was plenty of fresh fish, shellfish, meats, salads, fruits, breads & sweets that were all presented well and lots of lovely staff that kept everything tidy, replenished and really went out of their way to make you feel special. Each evening we went we were looked after by a Turkish waitress named Rojda who really made our experience fun with her lovely manner and always checking on us and topping up our drinks and clearing our plates. She made us feel so welcome and we saw she was like this with the other guests in the 20 or so tables she looked after. The Entertainment that was put on was very good with the shows in the theatre and on the beach. Two of the team that really made us welcome and chatted to us everytime we saw them and got us dancing were Rihanna from the UK (or was it her twin sister Beyoncé) and Osmel from Cuba. The whole entertainment team were really involved but the named two chatted to us in the fish restaurant where we played guess all our ages which was fun - Osmel was by far the best at this as Rihanna put my wife Pom at 28 so had to give her a clue that we had been married 24 years the week before. The bar staff were great and the selection of drinks exceptional including world known spirits. The windmill bar has a viewing point at the top and the 24/7 bar has good views towards Kos. The weather was great, the sea so clear with lots of fish swimming which did swim around us. A number of people had diving masks on which would be worth getting and taking some bread to feed as we watched from the sun deck one lad with shoals of seabass around him when he fed them. There were a good mix of nationalities and everyone we met were friendly but a good place to go if you want to be alone, together or in a group. I would highly recommend this hotel, taking a walk past the other hotels nearby towards Gumbet and we really felt we chose the nicest one. It was excellent in all aspects. The evening restaurants for seafood, Turkish and Italian you need to book on the day you want to go from 10am in the reception area at the customer relations, you cannot do this in advance so worth doing this as close to 10am to guarantee a table but you cannot do this also use these during the lunchtime without booking. Thank you to all the staff we saw and did not see as they are the ones that make the hotel so lovely and friendly. If only everything in life was this good the world would be a better place.

I recently stayed in this hotel for 10 days during September 2026. I am a frequent visitor of the Gumbet area and have stayed in several places - but this hotel was fabulous.

The views around the hotel were amazing, there was basically unlimited access to food and drinks due to the 24/7 lounge / restaurant, and the quality of food was lovely. All of the staff were helpful and the cleaners came every day. There was always entertainment on in the evenings and lots of things for children (if you have them) to do. Plus Gumbet bar street is only 10 min walk down the road.

There was always plenty of sunbeds both around the pool and on the beach. You also had the option to hire a private cabana for the day. For cabana hire with a butler service, this cost 80 euros and it was wonderful. Ahmet was great, very attentive and fetched all our drinks, a fruit platter, lunch from a fancy menu and everything. The sunbeds were comfortable and it was just a great experience. However, we did decide to rent the cabana a few more times - without butler service. This cost 50 euros, and by the end of our holiday we noticed that the cabanas were getting quite dirty, hadn’t been freshened up and the mini fridges in there hadn’t been restocked - we had to ask to get this done. There were ants on the floor and in the fridge on one occasion which wasn’t great to say we paid 50 euros. In general though it was a nice experience.

My only major complaint was that for 10 days, we were next door to a screaming baby that was up at 5:30am EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Which is not what you want, when you are on a child free holiday. It was quite stressful for us as we felt that we were unable to relax. In hindsight we should have asked to move rooms, but still there is no guarantee that we wouldn’t be next door to another noisy child. I think that due to the size of the hotel, they could potentially have a dedicated area that is adult only rooms - there is an adults only pool which is nice, so rooms around there would be good.

I think from my point of view, holidaying with my friend - we did not want to be woken up at that time every day, it did ruin our experience. However, as a parent myself - I also wouldn’t have wanted my baby being woken up by people coming back at 2/3am like we did on some occasions. So if there was anything I would change, it would be to have an adults only section - I’d happily pay extra for a room in an adults only block.
