Club and Hotel Letoonia

This was our 2nd holiday at Letoonia having visited the year before Some things have improved The WiFi is stronger, we were able to connect and perform simple hookups and emails, but it often failed for anything larger such as downloading relatively small files. This meant we still supplemented our access needs via our roaming data for much of the holiday The agora bar configuration is a big improvement and we rarely needed to queue. The smaller serving area actually works much more efficiently and the staff seemed much better trained and knowledgeable. Chopstix was exceptional, even better than last year. Entertainment team were all enthusiastic, shout out to Josep the most enthusiastic of them all!

Now for the not so good bits... We witnessed a rescue of a child from the main pool by their panicked parents. The lifeguard turned up well after the event. Not surprising, considering they spend long periods of time with their nose in their phone, and hidden away in the far corner of the pool. There was no way they could monitor both pools from that position and I'm afraid we nicknamed her the "Lifeless Guard" based on her general inactivity.

The Dolphin a la carte was a bit of a letdown although the staff were very welcoming and great fun. The menu is just not fishy enough! Of the meze, only 2 dishes have any fish, the rest are bulked out with dips and pulses. We had a nice starter, skipped the soup, then were presented with a choice of a non-fishy salad, and our choice of main was disappointingly small. Three queen scallops on some sauce just doesn't warrant being categorised as a main course.

We were bitterly disappointed by the main buffet restaurant. Last year we looked forward to each of the theme nights available the majority of days, however they had just one a week this year, a Turkish night. We only ate at the buffet for 8 out of 14 nights as we explored Fethiye 4 times by choice, and spent two of the evenings at the a la cartes. We really struggled to be inspired by the buffet selection. The buffet food was very repetitive and quite frankly very boring. What happened to the shell fish night? What happened to the oriental one? And what happened to the adults only area? No place of refuge from the kids! A very worrying trend was that most of the hot food was at best lukewarm with new hot food placed upon cold, an invitation for food contamination and poisoning. Last year's practice of exchanging serving spoons on a regular basis also seemed to have been discontinued. The omelette lady at breakfast was very efficient and friendly, however on the one occasion I opted instead for fried eggs the chef served me RAW yolks with barely cooked whites that were stone cold - he needs a lesson in egg cooking (back to omelettes for the rest of our trip!)

Overall we really didn't find the wow factor this year we were hoping for.
Would we return? Last year we said "maybe" and decided to give it another go, however next time we are going to explore one of your all-inclusive competitors based in the Fethiye area. To be truthful l think we can find overall better quality for a similar budget.

A Slice of Paradise – We’ll Be Back! 🌴❤️

I am someone who never leaves reviews, but after our recent stay at Letoonia, I genuinely felt the need to. What an absolute slice of paradise!

🏡 Our Room We stayed in a large bungalow in Block 42 and it was absolutely perfect for our family of two adults and two children. It was spacious, comfortable and cleaned to an incredibly high standard every single day. We couldn’t have asked for more.

🎭 Animation Team I honestly don’t understand how anyone could complain about the entertainment! Even being “off season”, the animation team put on something every day and were such a friendly, fun bunch. Showtime in the evening was my 4-year-old’s favourite part of the day, and both of our kids are still quoting parts of the comedy night 😂. They worked so hard to keep everyone entertained and it really added to our holiday.

🍴 Food – WOW WOW WOW! Never have we experienced food this good at an all-inclusive. Everything was cooked perfectly, there was so much choice and the themed nights were fantastic. Even with a fussy eater, we never struggled to find something for everyone. And of course… the Turkish tea! ☕️❤️

🌴 Location & Resort Paradise is the only way I can describe it. Every inch of the resort is absolutely spotless, beautifully maintained and surrounded by incredible views. There is something so special about the whole place – you really do feel like you’re in your own little piece of paradise.

❤️ The Staff Every single member of staff we came across was friendly, attentive and genuinely seemed to care. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

We arrived late at night and were greeted by lovely staff who brought our bags and showed us to our room. We were also able to use the 24-hour restaurant for a hot meal, which was very much needed after a long day of travelling!

The bar staff deserve a 10/10 too, and a special mention has to go to the team at the poolside restaurant, where we had lunch every day. The food, service and friendly atmosphere were fantastic and really appreciated.

We are already planning to return next year, which is something I have never said about another holiday destination! Everything about Letoonia was perfect from start to finish.
