- Sahra Su Holiday Village and Spa

Ideal for couples and families alike, this extensive complex consists of 3-floor modern blocks of rooms and single-floor, thatched roof bungalows. In an idyllic location on the outskirts of the small village of Ovacik and some 8 km from the market town of Fethiye, it is surrounded by pine tree clad hills and has a view of Babadag Mountain. Offering a wide range of facilities, it has a relaxed atmosphere with organised animation for those who want it and peaceful places including a spa centre and a choice of outdoor pools. The village of Ovacik is approximately 1 km away and the busier resort of Hisaronu with a range of shops and popular nightlife is 2 km.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We came in August with our family. We had a fantastic time. The service was brilliant. As soon as we sat down for any meal someone would be over to ask what drinks we wanted. The food was good and there was a great variety every night. Even for young picky eaters 😂 some cocktails were an extra charge as well as the ice cream van but they also had free ice creams available to. The hotel was very clean and the spa services were fantastic. The onsite shop was over priced at £30 for a float but a quick taxi ride into town and you can get them for cheaper. The entertainment was wonderful. Special shout out to Carlos and Oscar for keeping us entertained with volleyball and karaoke. They were very friendly and made some great recommendations throughout our stay. Kids club left a lot to be desired.
The entertainment guys were very welcoming and full of energy. Carlos and Oscar were great!
The hotel is clean, and while the rooms are dated, they’re well maintained and housekeeping does a great job.
We’ve been coming to Turkey for many years and normally head into Hisarönü every evening. This year, however, we noticed that taxi fares and food and drink prices have increased significantly. It’s reached the point where there are now better-value holiday destinations elsewhere, which is a real shame because we genuinely love Turkey.
The food at the hotel was average. There was always something to eat, but nothing really stood out. The snack bar was probably the best option.
The staff were fantastic throughout our stay – friendly, hardworking and always doing their best to make sure guests had a good experience.
The biggest downside is the music venue next door, which plays loud music until around midnight every night. It didn’t bother us too much as we were usually out until after midnight, but if you’re travelling with young children or have a room near reception, it’s likely to be an issue.
Overall, this is a clean, budget-friendly, no-frills hotel and we enjoyed our stay. However, would we return? Probably not. It’s a little too remote for our liking, the noise from next door is less than ideal, and the food is only average.
We had a great time here! As a family of 5 18, 14 and 9. Our older two boys had an attic room whilst me and my husband shared a standard room with our 9 year old son. The rooms were okay air con worked fine. The entertainment team work so hard- shout out to Carlos he brought the energy and would always make things fun - we are still singing the clap song now!! My boys loved him!!! Skye in the spa was so welcoming and would always let my son see Pikachu the budgie. I also had a massage which I highly recommend! We would definitely go back thank you Sahra Su for our lovely memories.
Good hotel, food is great and the staff can’t do enough for you! Rooms a bit basic but overall a pleasant stay
